Can we also stop saying Bonnie is going to join? She is one of the Supernova/Worst Generation and to me it feels like they've been built up as legitimate rivals to Luffy and having one of them work under him would delegitimize that. The only reason Law is allowed is because he's in an alliance with Luffy, so they're both viewed as equals (even though Luffy goes off and does his own thing most of the time).

She seems a little to much on the run to be rival. Not that I think the others are much better, but at least they can try.

I still think Carrot has more quirks/personality than other allies rumored to be one, but im going under the assumption that she wont join the crew. So if she actually does I can be surprised instead of just waiting for post arc chapters and all that stuff, besides with wano looming she might be in the story for like 2-3 more years

If you count Jinbei joining then absolutely. If Sanji's wife actually ends up joining then that would be two. If ANY mink decides to join it will most likely be after Wano and the defeat of Kaido. The only way I see it going down is if Purin and Jinbei join… could happen tho I would think it a little unlikely.

Well, Jinbe aside, I'm pretty sure everyone is just toying with possibilities and picturing unlikely scenarios instead of actually taking their own guesses seriously (it's also fun to derange those that, for some weird reason, seem to take as a personal offense that people throw names they don't think have real chances of joining). So I would say Jinbe is alone in the list.

So, three eyed girl being Pudding, and Sanji's future wife (who Luffy was fine with letting onto the crew), I'm sure she's just rocketed a mile in plausibility.

Weird that Oda would reveal the third eye years in advance rather than as a surprise to Sanji later though. I guess it's letting the audience in on the joke ahead of time.

At the moment, because her hair is gussied up to hide the third eye. But her lips are different, and generalyl does pigtails… and she has a third eye. If her first appearance is any indication. ANd if the anime is anything to go by, brown hair.

Still a bit too standard and not as different as Robin is or Perona was, but she's not nearly as identical as Shirahoshi or Rebecca were.

Still not designed quite enough that it feels like Oda has put months or years of thought into it though. More like "three eyed pretty girl that Sanji has to marry" and not much beyond that. It's the same kind of generic-ness that floats around the others.

Main argument is that she WAS shown off years in advance.

As Sanji leaves he turns around and says he can't leave her behind and says jump on ship similar as Zoro to Ussop.

Luffy of course doesn't mind... There was even a dialogue in Zou already

Silly MetaMario. Character design only matters with male crew members. Were you actually wowed by either Robin or Nami's designs? (A Third Eye is definitely a step up from either of those two's designs)

I'm not. There's nothing there yet.

But from a storytelling perspective she was introduced years in advance and given a completely unique feature. And Luffy said he'd be okay with Sanji's bride joining, which is basically bold faced Oda foreshadowing.

So, narratively she makes some sense but there's just nothing there yet at all.

I mean Nami joined in like, volume 2, and when Robin joined her gaze really stood out. From that point it's been like 50, 55 volumes since we've gotten another female character joining for realz. And now, the same-y of Oda's females kinda sticks out a lot more these days.

But that is a fair point. Design isn't the end-all.

Nami gets the benefit of appearing early enough in the series that just being a girl was enough… but she's added a tattoo, sister bracelet, log pose, and unique weapon in the time since. And she had a certain style of outfit so long that when another character wore the exact same thing it was instantly recognizable.

Robin when she first appeared in her Pulp Fiction inspired design had a unique style of nose that has rarely appeared since, unique style of eyes and an unusual haircut.

Years and years of drawing her endlessly has led to Oda toning that down a lot by familiarity, but yes, when she first appeared she had a very unusual entrance a very unique design.

And well, cute girls go, a third eye and different lips might be as extensive as it gets but its hard to see Oda not including a few other things to tell an at-a-glance story if she's to be a main. At this point, after Oda has developed another 15 years as a writer and artist, I'd think we'd need at least three or four interesting features for them to be convincing at all.

I see no one's mentioned Tamago's comment about Pekoms. He pretty much agrees with Capone and discarded him.

Not that I think he'll join, but it already shoots him ahead of Carrot and Pudding.

Purin is cute, and she can be a nice contrast with Nami and Robin, but I think her personality, and any quirks associated with that, would be nice to see soon. Like I don't know, she's naturally super-strong and keeps breaking stuff, or something.

What would you if she is unlucky being with them as Sanji isn't hot being with his family.But again far to early to speculate. First we need a proper introduction and interacting.

If Purin is indeed the Triclops girl, she seems rather disturbed by her mom's actions. Plus, I doubt her overall maternal love for her children is high.
