Jinbe is really the only one we can be sure will be in.
Arguments could be made about Kinemon, but instinct tells me he'll be more of an ally. More than anything because he has yet to interact with Luffy, and Luffy is the one who ultimately invites people to the crew.
I don't want Kinemon to join, but after seeing his interactions with the SHs, especially Brook in the last chapter, I think it is a possibility. I'm not too happy about it, but it's definitely possible.
Kinemon just seems to be a major ally in the way East Blue had Johnny and Yosaku, BW had Vivi and Carue, Skypiea had Conis, and CP9 had Kokoro, Chimney, and Gonbe.
We all know the three-eyed girl from Big Mom's crew is gonna join anyways. She will fill the role of the psychic. She is Big Mom's actual daughter. Her sad past involves living with a mom like Big Mom, seeing all the horrible things she has done, and not being able to freely leave. Her dream is to escape and and make the world safe from Big Mom. This is where the Straw Hats come in and help her. She will fit in at around Robin and Franky's in terms of power. Her animal will be a goose and she will be the younger sister in the crew. Her interactions will involve her reading the crew's minds for kicks, revealing their horrible secrets - Chopper's rumble balls are full of steroids, Nami is actually bulimic, Brook's skeleton includes some bones that aren't actually his own, and the Zoro/Sanji doujins are actually happening during those periods between islands.
I'm bored.

I have never particularly cared about NN. Gogo Jinbe! If that little dragon happened to be Mononosuke (high chance, because it would also play on Kinemon's vehemence for dragons), I'd say Kinemon's chances do go up. However, he's not particularly ORIGINAL CHARACTER, DO NOT STEAL among the crew, so I'm pretty meh about him. Do we really need a third samurai? Brook has his own other things going for him, of which there are many.

In fact most of his friends and allies were brutal antagonists at some point.
It's kinda interesting how most of the west aren't aware just how massive hit that manga was.
Hell, the entire gyudon franchises becoming one of the biggest nation-wide fad really got kicked off by Kinnikuman.

I don't see any other options at the moment. Monet is too much of a Robin (except lacking in ambiguity) and Baby 5 only just appeared, and I'm 99% sure her Doflamingo hatred is a character quirk, or running gag.
Plus, her power is, so far at least, a massive Wapol rehash. More uniqueness in the crew plz.

About Jinbe... he is done and will join as soon as Big Mom will get her fat ass kicked by Luffy... I just want to see how Oda will let the joining be something "awesome" once again... Luffy asking him in Fishmen Island was just awesome... Dunno how this can be surpassed

Jinbei is pretty much the only one in the running so far. Luffy even asked him to join; he just deferred the joining for later on. I expect Oda to reveal a little more of his history, maybe his childhood or something? Either way, he's pretty much sold.
And people have been talking about other characters, so here's my thoughts-
Kinemon: No question in my mind, he'll be a traveling ally and no more. He's quirky, hiliarous, and is currently assisting the Straw Hats in the Punk Hazard ordeals….but I can't see him being a pirate. He's more focused on finding his son, even if the Straw Hats proved to be the exeception to his "I hate pirates" attitude (and when have they haven't been?). He hasn't shown to have a goal to see the world or anything like that......Oda will definitely show more of his past later on, but I remain unconvinced.
And this is more of an aesthetic complaint, but the Straw Hat crew is all about diversity. He's honorable (like Zoro and Jinbei), is a dedicated swordsman (like Zoro and Brook), and slightly lecherous (like Sanji and Brook). Three Straw Hats (well, four) share the same key traits as him. And does the crew need another swordsman?
Monet: She's largely a mystery, and….still technically a villain. There's not much personality that's present, and a chapter ago she calmly said she had to carry out her orders or killed by Doflamingo. This recent chapter has her and Caesar saying "yes, sir" on a phone call!
So far she's too similar to Robin's role in Alabasta, a mysterious and calm woman working for the big bad. Only difference, Oda made it clear from the start Robin wasn't 100% loyal to Croc. It's the opposite for Monet.
Even if Oda showed more of her character and gave her a flashback, the jarring similarity to Robin turns me off from accepting her as crew material.
Baby 5: Okay, she interested me in the chapter…...but I refuse to consider her until she's seen more than one chapter. 'Nuff said. There's barely anything to her so far....because she's only been in ONE chapter!
EDIT: And while I would welcome another woman on the crew, I would prefer something more than a pretty face. I've been liking the sarcastic granny idea thrown around, but I wouldn't mind either way the gender of the next crewmate.

Agreed, Bonney has even now still more material to work with or rather potential than any female character we have seen in this arc. She has a history with the WG (even Akainu had a shiver when she escaped the WG, that is a statement alright), she seems to have some kind of relation with either WB or Ace (gave BB the fault for anything and tried to hunt him down, silly girl) and she actually had an encounter with one of the SHs (Zoro) and said that she would hunt them down in the New World. Of course this is all even less than speculation for now but it is still obvious that is much to work with.

Yes to more originality; Maybe to the character quirk. It would be delightful to know if Dofla just pissed her off by putting her in a maid outfit. For a woman who looks like a weapon lover, wearing a maid's outfit is one of the worst ways to ridicule. I can consent. The classic "trapped" damsel type is getting old.

After the PH arc is all good and done, Luffy offers Brownbeard a chance to join, interested in his centaur form. Thus, Brownbeard joins the crew as the transportation guy, serving to have others ride him and provide them a place to rest. He enjoys his new role as the Straw Hats' uncle. His color is brown and his animal is a crocodile. His dream is fulfilled and he enjoys the rest of the journey with the Straw Hats.

I am surprised about the fact that nobody seems to mention the left side theory (all Nakamas having a feature on their left side) anymore, in the past it always was part of the New Nakama discussion. Jinbe obviously fits that criterion (if you can call it that), Kinemon and Monet on the other hand do not.

I've heard that suggested before, I'd rather he be a lone ranger though, or maybe join up with a few other disillusioned marines (Perhaps Smoker et al if Vergo gets out of this and starts a smear campaign?)

And I think I see a sort of patern how many we can expect probably.

Now we have seen that Kinemon fights with 2 swords, is the possibility to have a Samurai from the Country of Wano who just happens to use 2 swords join a crew of pirates? Where we now of that the Samurai's have no allegiance to someone and hate Pirates it seems? Well I see it possible.
But if we even look further we can maybe even find something else hidden?

It's just something I happend to stumble upon. It is probably just nothing what I saw and maybe we can predict what Oda does. Maybe it's just a coincidence..
Another thing is that the two women of the ship both had some sort of disagreement with the Government. Nami with Nizumi who was just a small part of the WG then we got Robin who was targeted by the World Government so maybe we have the next women who has something much bigger than Robin who joins. If I have to put my money on that? Yeah you probably would hate me for even thinking it but this would be my list for the future what we could see…
Grand Line: New World Jinbe - Physcial

Cabin Boy - Ranged Attacks.
And if I have to take the whole conclusion I think the Cabin Boy will be the last member of the crew, will be a young boy who will be the apprentice of Luffy which takes the hat after him and has the fruit of Ace. n.n;

Actually that could be an interesting development, particularly if Wano shares Kinemon's disdain for Dragons. Kinemon could make the tearful decision that his son is better off with the SH than coming with him back to Wano because of the prejudice. Granted this requires like 20 more chapters of character development with Monosuke, but it would certainly be an oda-style curve-ball. To first show the dad but have the son join instead.
I'd always wondered if the SH would get a cabin boy, and it would be rather fitting for them to get one that can turn into a Dragon.
Maybe Kinemon's son could be the Cabin Boy of the Strawhat Pirates? And maybe, just maybe, Kinemon could die trying to 'rescue' his son?

Actually Baby 5 holding a grudge against Dofly could be a good clue of her joining in the future.
As it was already said in the previous thread some of the best moments in One Piece were the emotional flashbacks of the crew members before joining (or when consoliding their stay in the team) Baby 5 could provide a huge emotional bang like that; sent by Do Flamingo to eliminate the strawhats and finally joining them against her own boss, it could work very well.
About the supernovas I don't think of any of them as future crew members. They are all ambitious captains with their own dreams, falling unto another's flag would mean giving up on them.
