@Femme:
Oh totally get what you mean, I use it mainly for that purpose myself. When I'm in a hurry to chop I go all Chef Ramsey on that food processor.
"Marinated Chicken.
Coriander.
Garlic.
Process.
Seasonings.
Mix.
Lemon.
Squeeze.
Marinated chicken with finely chopped coriander and garlic:
Done."
You know i prefer to be inspired by happy, manic, guys like Gennaro Contaldo, seriously how great is he.
But i reckon i look more like a grumpy Ramsay like figure when i'm in the kitchen lol.
The other day I was delighted to discover that you can make freaking frozen yogurt with a processor. Just add frozen fruit, vanilla yogurt, bit of honey and process until smooth, it's amazing!
That's a neat idea. Gives you a use for all that fruit you tend to freeze and never get around to using for anything creative.
I'll probably try to make some nice curry paste in it. Like some homemade Korma or Jalfrezi.
Only advice I give you: make sure and be very very careful that you don't drop any of the processor parts. One crack on ANY of the parts, the whole thing is done, you can't get replacement parts.
I may have to start tucking it in at night and telling it nice bedtime stories.
Please don't break on me mistah processor.
