I said in the B2W2 thread that if it was gen 6, I'd eat my face.

My poor face . . .

Still, this looks … interesting. Initial thoughts: all the gen V pokemon in the trailer ... well, I hope for it to be a little linked to BW so they share some common pokemon, but I reckon this is more to hide the new pokemon than anything else. The move to 3d (that is, flat 3d, not the stereoscopic effect) is interesting. I mean the DS easily was capable of it but for two gens the stuck with the old flat tiled based way of doing things. Not sure the change will work well, but hoping for the best here.

Hopefully as fun as BW?

The only thing that I am worried with this game is the DLCs.We've seen what they did with NSMB2 adding new levels and nothing can stop them from adding them to X and Y.Let's hope for the best though.

That's what they thought the announcement was for that or a R/S/E remake like everyone has been after but alas, we have X and Y (and a potential Z though I hope they don't do the mistake of making X2 and Y2 I mean they should have made a Pokemon Gray/Grey instead of Pokemon Black and White 2 with merged legendaries…)

I hope that in the future there WILL be a R/S/E remake... it would be so awesome. I mean, I LOVED Pokemon Sapphire and whatnot > u <~ but I have a feeling it might be quite some time away, though they DID remake Gold and Silver... amazed the didn't have a Pokemon Cool Crystal

Well this time they can actually hide the event pokemon(Deoxys, Meloetta, etc), they can just not put them ingame and then add them through DLC.

Kinda feel the same I'm a big starter fan I like them all but ever since the second gen that I haven't liked the starters so much, well the grass one is cute but I'm definetly not picking him over the other two, I'll have to wait for the evolutions, last region was the first region I got disapointed with starters evolutions, Samurott and Serperior, Emboar was fine, the pokemon are cool and have nice designs but I just dont think thats they way they should have gone with their evolutions.

as much, I meant I haven't liked the starters as much as I did for the second generation ones aka they are my favourites, I do love all the starters, back when Pokemon Ranch came out in Wii I had a ranch full of them lol.

**I'm thinking the game is going to have a Psychic Gym, a Bug Gym, and a Fire Gym–based on what I saw in the trailer.

There was some weird, dream-like illusion room (that formed out of no where) in the trailer, that, had the symbols indicating a gym. (The Psychic-type Gym)
There was some weird forest-like area, with small wooden huts, and spiderweb everywhere (that the player-character was bouncing one). (The Bug-type Gym)
There was cathedral-like building, that, had fire geysers shooting up + the symbols indicating a gym. (The Fire-type Gym)

Just some of my predictions, I'm 100% sure about the psychic one though.**

My issues with the legendaries are…. I'm kind of tired of the cyber-genetic look. It's like they take any silhouette, add one basic color scheme, and then proceed to make these glowing electrical lines on them. Why not make a design that feels like something that exists in nature, rather than the pretentious "ancient machine" or "futuristic animal" look?

That's kinda the point. Legendaries are supposed to be like living gods.

Anyway I'm stoked. Since this is gonna be a simultaneous release, it'll be the first game I play where I won't know all the pokemon going into it. I also hope they'll take advantage of the streetpass system in some awesome way.

Nintendo will be good at E3 this year they have this, SSB WiiU/3DS (maybe), maybe Zelda Wii U, and maybe some secret projects they haven't told us about yet.

I hope it doesn't play a major factor :S I have 0 streetpasses and i have the console since release, need to go to some game/anime convention one of this days.

After initial look of the starters, I can't decide between the frog or the fox….buh...

Love the graphics and full animated attack sequences....looks to be a great step~

Incredibly low. Given that the trailer showed lots of old things (presumably in the wild) and they want to keep merchandising Gen 5 (since it was a short gen) it'll probably be like most other even numbered gens. About 80 brand new things (9 of them starters, and 10 legends) then 20-30 evolutions of old things (for balancing/enhancing/tweaking.) For around 100 new things. But it'll surely be at least 100.

Gen 3-134
Gen 4-105
Gen 5-155

ESPECIALLY when you consider ita new system and modeling, so they can't reuse all the old sprite assets… they're going to have to make the old 650 from scratch! It'll probably be much closer to 100 than 150.

Gamefreal isn't likely to do a straightup midquel game again, now that they know they can get away with TWO full blown sequels to a gen rather than just one. (And there may yet be a BW3 for the plain old DS owners... that would of course incorporate some of the new stuff.)

But of course they'll keep introducing new fresh generations every couple years.

They'll probably do what they did with B/W. Make other region pokes very few in number and in a sequel and another remakes of other games with the rest of them.

Infact like this, i can totally dig a remake of Ruby/Sapphire even more now. That'd be seriously cool.

Farfech'd, Stunfisk, Mighthyena, Audino pre evo/evo or both, Dunsparce, other pokemon without an evolution.

I want those but I only see Audino happening actually.

I guess I forgot to say not Kangaskhan, I actually want his baby to be a pokemon eventually its a diferent pokemon and its said to be the baby, other pokemon don't look diferent unless their baby form is a diferent pokemon, so I don't get why we still don't have baby Kangaskhan as a pokemon.

Anyway I mean a cliché 3 stage figthing Kangaroo.

In other news I just saw a guy asking for an umbrella pokemon and it would be cool to him…

Btw lets not forget the mandatory Pikachu clone pokemon, I hope this time it evolves, Emolga and Pachirusu should have evolved , specially Emolga pretty cool pokemon.

I want my Grass/Ghost (or Ghost/Grass) Willow Tree Pokemon. I would also like to see a Water/Steel Marlin (Swordfish) Pokemon. Also a Poison/Water (or Water/Poison) Platypus Pokemon. And maybe, just maybe, a Rock/Ground egyptian cat-like Pokemon, whose, final form is a Sphinx.

Haha I still remember back in DP, my game was arriving in the next day and I started watching a stream(japanese release day) I saw Shellos, OMG LAPRAS pre evo, then I play the game see Gastrodon, noooooope.

Almomola was a waste of a pokemon, they should have made Luvdisc evolve from it.
