DQ 9, Dissidia, Bravely Default, Nier, FF Type-0, KH: Birth by Sleep. They also published some really great games by Eidos, but I'm guessing that's not what you're asking about.

Actually got Nier recently though I haven't gotten around to playing it yet. As for Eidos games, I've played Deus Ex: HR and enjoyed it. Played all of the previous Hitman games (including Hitman: Codename 47 exclusively on the pc), so I'd hope I enjoy the new one.

Tomb Raider is a lot of fun too, albiet kinda short and simple and thus not worthy of the full price tag IMO. But I'd consider it a no brainer at $20-30. Or if you rent I'd say it's a must.

Fair warning, in case you aren't aware: the people behind Nier hate completionists, with a burning passion. They will delight in making you absolutely suffer if you attempt to go for 100% in the game.
On the plus side, if you don't generally go for that sort of thing in the first place, then it's a non-issue. Also, the soundtrack to that game is just stunning, probably one of my favorite ever.

Also, make sure you're completely done with the game when you go for the fourth ending. Can't say more without spoilers.
And yes, it has the best soundtrack of any game in the last five years or so.

So just out of curiosity, is there anything notable SE has made in the last five years.
Whenever no good main series FF title has been released all other good titles shall lose their good graces and recognition, thus it is written in the unwritten rules of square fandom. When the number of good titles exceeds the number of bad FF main series titles one good title shall regain all its standing and chosen by every fan's own discretion.

This is getting dangerously off-topic, but I remember at some point reading a really neat interview with the vocalist for the soundtrack. With the exception of I believe one song in the game, the 'lyrics' to all the tracks are just nonsense, not actually any language. She wrote all the 'lyrics' herself, though, and talks about how she was instructed to make the lyrics sound reminiscent of various languages, without actually being so – basically, as they might sound as language has shifted over the course of thousands of years. I believe each track was meant to 'mimic', for lack of a better word, a different language; so one would be 'English', one 'French', one 'Japanese', and so on.
Speaking as someone who is no linguist, by any means, and who has never really had much of a paw at languages at all, I feel like I can really recognize the effect she was going for in the songs, so I don't think it's at all a case of some 'artiste' just talking things up. At any rate, as I said, I found it all a very interesting read, so the soundtrack has that going for it as well, in addition to just being amazing on its own merits.
