Seems to me that the King's punch saved Bart by taking out Bellamy.

Decent chapter. I'm glad this king punch wasn't some joke and it acutally sped up the battle. shame about Bellamy, but it seems we are moving the plot wider again. I enjoy the tournament, but i feel Oda is spending way too much time on these one-off characters.
Granted I am sure he and his assistances are having a blast making them up, but for a weekly chapter, it's just bleh.

But then Bartolomeo lowered his guard too…And I don't think you can knock him out with just one attack,he's not like a turtle as we've seen he used that barrier power of his to attack the king and smashed him with it

They probably weren't subjects that belonged to Prodence Kingdom, so it stands to reason that he and Elizabello II couldn't afford to trust them beyond a certain point in the game. I mean, the prize is the Mera Mera no Mi. Those fodder were probably seconds away from backstabbing Dagama and the King.

Well that went about as expected. Rooted for Bellamy but Bartolomeo felt like the winner this whole time. I like his fruit. Reminds me of that mediocre anime Kekkaishi. Anyway, glad that Block B is finally done. I doubt we're getting a full-fledged flashback. Probably and hopefully just a half-chapter or something.

That probably has been already said, but I like how Oda gives us a second generation maniac who follows his predecessor without realizing it. Bari Bari no mi - Nikyu Nikyu no mi. Being called a psychopath - famed as a man of outmost cruelty in his time. Cannibal - Tyrant. Bartolomeo - Bartolomew. I'm very interested how this Supernova will play out later. He seems like a strong guy with interesting future, not an one arc background victim.

Please yes please, I would like to see him some more, but I think he only thought that because he heard about him sometime ( or maybe he knew Elizabello I when he was on his prime :ninja: , I'll better stop making up random theories because I'll be dissapointed

No way this series is more than half-way over! Every arc Oda keeps piling up more and more potential for the future. There are tons of twists and turns that are about to happen and in One Piece terms, about means in like 200 chapters because of the awesome foreshadowing.
Anyway, good chapter and I am loving this arc. This arc has no end in sight.

I think it's pretty obvious that the second half of the manga is different from the first. It took the whole of the first half for us to get a complete picture of the OP world (factions, gathering the crew etc.) and how things work. Now Oda is going full throttle with the plot. So far everything has been tied in to one of the yonkou. One of them is going down soon, maybe as soon as next arc.
True it seems like there's ALOT more to come with all these new characters etc, but since the pacing is much faster than the first half it won't take another century to get through the story. Every arc in the new world will be epic.

I think you got it a bit wrong. People Like Luffy and Zoro back when they were in the bar on Jaya don't give a fuck. Bartolomeo, on the other hand, really cares what people think. It's just that he wants to annoy people and he wants attention. Pretty much everything he does is designed to get a reaction. If everyone ignored him and didn't think about him at all, that would piss him off.

That Bellamy didn't get anywhere was a little upsetting, but he didn't need to win for a guy we know is going to get taken down so it was good to get him out now so there wouldn't be exceptional disapointment later! In the meantime, I love how so many characters are being given development in this melee. It's also helpful for whenever the anime reaches to this part, because showing more of these fights would be awesome and a good "filler" that I definitely can't wait to see!

Holy mother… THAT King Punch sure is live up to the hype of the name XD
Almost defeated all figthers but there is Bartroll still standing is one weakness of the King Punch I think, since the cooldown is a hour XD if there's still enemy (must be strong to withstand the punch that can be considered as a FINAL hit) then chance of the enemy defeat the king is BIG. Double edge skill :P
And the toy soldier!! Nice to see the scene isn't just fight in the Colosseum, and Franky is superrrrrrr confidence he can take down the factory in an instant XD
So there is a dark story about Dressrosa, waiting what is it now XDWell, I honestly think Bellamy is gonna win the block B but he put quite a fight before defeated by THAT King Punch (and the KP attack was from his back, other side Bartroll saw it 1st because it was heading from his front :P).

Well, that's mostly all true enough, except for the part about him getting old. That's what doesn't make sense to me. Whitebeard got old (and really really sick) too. So did Garp. Hell who knows how much older - or even younger - Kyros is compared to Akainu or Fujitora. Old guys are still monstrously strong, and it doesn't really make sense that Kyros alone would weaken so drastically due to old age, which is what he seems to be implying is the case.
But like i said, you're pretty much right i think. More details will clarify the situation.
