Honestly, as much as i enjoy the PSD scenes, it's kinda ridiculous a group of student needs rioting gears to defend themselves from being forcefully exicted from their dorm. It's a school, not a lawless community! Lol
You would think a former 1st and 2nd seat will have enough authority to prevent other students from attacking them in their dorm.
But then again, Tootsuki always has rather lax security system. Nikumi chopped someone hair off with a knife. The fifth seat carry a gigantic swords with him. Eizan and his armed men. Subaru and Sadako stalking students. One of them being Erina. The security guards even pretend to ignore Sadako stalking Erina. Since this is a cooking school, all the students also own knives… This school is sure safe.
On the side note, my annoyance with Rindou stems from her causing this mess Soma is in. She's one of the six who supported Azami's regime which lead to the dorm being abolished. She may be supporting Soma in this match through her words. But her actions aren't. She calls out on Eizan's dirty moves but does nothing else. With her authority as the 2nd seat, she should be able to get Soma a fair shokugeki and make Eizan call back his men until the match is over. She could use the "senior" card to make her kyohai comply.
I do personally like Rindou's design and personality that is similar to Satoshi. But her action of supporting Azami kinda ruin her character for me that i can't even enjoy the interaction between her and Eizan.
The author did say she is a "curious and innocent" person. So,i'm guessing she doesn't really understand the full consequences of her action as she is naive? Giving teenagers so much power is really a bad move, Senzaemon...
