There is something wrong with your understanding skills.
So I understand you guys cant understand.
I dont even know what to say. It must be easy to live ignorant.
So tell me why are you here please? To troll?
Yes please, keep your manners, dirty boy.
So you can contribute instead of trolling. I like your theory. It is possible.
It is more than merely plausible…it MAKES SENSE and it is well thought out with sustainable evidences to refer to. Pay attention to this one, you might learn something.
Yes please, keep your manners, dirty boy.
He's a Naruto fan, you shouldn't have had high expectations to begin with.
I try to tell you, it may be a ship but it is not supposed to be made of wood and metal. Poseidon is a weapon but is made of flesh. Pluton may be too. Also your suggestion about Pluton being in Alabasta is an assumption, which you partly accepted by using words "otherwise why would he". So it is not certain.
Well I just suggested a theory and you have no intention to eat it. Wont try to tell you anymore.
But I still dont approve your way of thinking. Just because it is not canon doesnt mean it doesnt belong to OP universe. We may continue to argue about that if you want.
Croc and various people mentioned the weapon being in Alabasta, it's not as assumption. I don't know why you're being so dumb about this.
If you really want to argue those three different giants are one weapon, go with Uranus, which we don't know anything about.
Instead you're deciding to stick to the one we know the most about aside from Shirahoshi, that is definitely not them.
Stop being dumb.

You guys just are stick to certain statements that are mentioned in manga. But it is never actually stated that Pluton is in Alabasta. But you still insist on that. This is ironic. You are absolutly hypocrite.
Also I said I believe it is one of weapons. I said it may be Pluton or Uranus (I thought it was Poseidon 2-3 years ago when I first saw it). I dont sat it is certainly a weapon, but you people are just not arguable since you dont give it being a weapon a slight possibility. You are who is stick to something. Not me.

??? It's kind of hard to understand what you're saying, but I'll make it simple. You were ignoring key evidence from the manga and making ridiculous assertions (saying Pluton is a creature when it's confirmed to be a warship and saying it's not in Alabasta), that's why your theories were disregarded.

Crocodile says Pluton is in Alabasta though. Straight up says it in chapter 193. It's not debatable.
Also I said I believe it is one of weapons. I said it may be Pluton or Uranus
Well it's not Pluton.
There's no reason to assume it's Uranus either. We know nothing about either Uranus, or the three giant monster things. So there's really no reason to make such theories.
I further doubt that Oda would make two of the weapons living things, seems like something he would only use on one.
There is zero possibility that it is Pluton.

Ok, I understand you. You are far from the concept of fiction. I know I wont be able to teach you. Because it is no more a matter of evidences and facts but your attitude towards me and your way of thinking. It is not like I care about your reasoning anymore. Think whatever you want. But I just wanted to tell you, you keep talking about things like you know them for certain. If someday you are proven wrong, you will be loser. But I wont be, because I just talked about possibilities and never said that is for certain.

No that would be you who has no understanding of storytelling, since you seem to think "LITERALLY ANYTHING CAN HAPPENED" is what storytelling is like.
How about we go off Oda's own description of it being like tetris where he has to think hard about making the pieces fit, rather than your idea of it being just throwing paint at a wall randomly. So maybe you'd like to argue with Oda about this.
But I just wanted to tell you, you keep talking about things like you know them for certain. If someday you are proven wrong, you will be loser. But I wont be, because I just talked about possibilities and never said that is for certain.
You're possibilities are dumb and won't happened is all we're saying.
If someday you are proven wrong, you will be loser.
Fascinating, I didn't know a fictional pirate story was that paramount.

I'm afraid it's quite debatable.
The local One Piece publisher here has never mentioned about Pluton being in Arabasta. The 'that thing' there was referring to the poneglyph instead, but not the Pluton itself. Can't tell which translations are more legit though.
Personally, I prefer Pluton was hidden somewhere else for the fact that Poseidon and its poneglyph were located separately. It's also more logical that way because it makes it harder for the bad fellas like Crocodile to find it.
! Thx for this great theory. I like how everyone contributes to the subject. I also have a supporting idea. But I think different with you at one point.
In order to create one piece and unite seas not two points have to be destroyed. It is hinted in series that Mariejoa will be destroyed by Luffy but nothing about Reverse Mountains. Think about it, even if you destroy Mariejoa, all seas will be united and GL may still be destroyed. But where is the ancient weapon to destroy the island? There was something that bugged me since I saw it and now I found the answer thanks to you. Here it is:
! >! http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/6927/onepiece1693831.jpg
! http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/6047/onepiece1693832.jpg
! This is from chapter 490, page 3 and 4. Yes this is at the end of Thriller Bark Arc. Remember how close Florian Triangle and Redline is? I first thought that thing in mist was Poseidon (since the shape resembles a trident). But we are now revealed Poseidon. But it is for sure the Ancient weapon to destroy the FI and Marieoja (Pluto? Uranus? you name it). It was hid there by AK.I also think Florian Triangle was created by AK to hide the weapon. This also suggests the probability of creating artificial phenomenons and weather conditions.
! Edit: This is seen better in anime.
If the mysterious shillouette really was Pluton, don’t you think it’s weird that Robin didn’t react at all? She knows the location of Pluton. it’s not like her to miss a chance of collecting information about Pluton like that (if it was really hidden there in Florian Triangle). I mean, she should have at least asked moria about it, right?
I'm afraid it's quite debatable.

We have a random online scan and Official English translation agreeing almost exactly on the translation.
Also Crocodile says earlier in the same volume directly to Cobra "Where is Pluton". Not "Where is the Poneglyph".
And again, all reinforced with the entire darn Baroque Works plan. It was to take over Alabasta, not access a Poneglyph. The idea was that he could control the country, and find, or dig up or whatever, the Pluton and use it from there.
If it was just a Poneglyph why on earth would Crocodile have to bother with ANY of what he did there?
Take over an entire country through an incredibly complex plot that got him kicked out of his position. If they just after information and not a probably gigantic object, they would never have needed the Utopia plot.
The plot is basically, that Crocodile knows Pluton is in Alabasta. That's his whole motive. He just doesn't know where exactly.
Personally, I prefer Pluton was hidden somewhere else for the fact that Poseidon and its poneglyph were located separately. It's also more logical that way because it makes it harder for the bad fellas like Crocodile to find it.
Probably Robin and him already visited some other Poneglyph that told them it was on Sandy Island (like how the Skypiea Poneglyph says that Poseidon is on Fishman Island), or Robin had already run into that Poneglyph before joining Baroque Works. You seem to be forgetting that Robin did in fact learn more about Poseidon from the Poneglyph in the sea forest. So there's Poneglyphs that point to the island of the weapon, and once there you have to find another Poneglyph that details exactly where on that island the weapon is.
Really nothing about Crocodile's plan makes sense unless Pluton is somewhere in Alabasta.
I'm afraid it's quite debatable.

Robin knows the location?…I realize that sometimes I miss a piece of story here and there...the story's getting too complex for me LOL

Well, I was actually waiting for a question like that because that is the only flaw I think there is in my theory. I thinked about it much before claiming that thing is Pluton. Why didnt Robin react to Pluton at all or tell her crewmates? Same reason why wouldnt she in Alabasta. Since she have no eye on Pluton. Why did she leave Pluton in Alabasta? Well of course there are some reasons.
What would she tell Luffy? "Pluton is here in Florian Triangle. Lets claim it. But it may be quite big."
Anyways what you say is really a flaw in theory of Pluton being in Florian Triangle.

Claim Pluton? It's not in the story yet, we will have a time for that someday but if robin told her crewmates about the weapons it will make the story shorter.

Because this thing isn't Pluton???
Same reason why wouldnt she in Alabasta.
She wasn't in the crew.
Since she have no eye on Pluton.
What?
Why did she leave Pluton in Alabasta?
Why in the hell would she own Pluton, do you even read the manga?

@Monkey:
Take over an entire country through an incredibly complex plot that got him kicked out of his position.
Never really thought about that. You are right, the WG would have kicked him out of shichibukai and hunted him down as soon as he took over Arabasta, which mean he would have needed pluton to be activated as soon as he discovered the location – to defend himself. So the best bet would be Pluton was hidden not too far away from the poneglyph, which mean it's still within the arabasta.
Robin knows the location?
she read the poneglyph… so, yeah. she just hasn't tell us yet (which makes me hate her sometimes, she hid too many information for herself)
Why did she leave Pluton in Alabasta? Well of course there are some reasons.
Well she had always thought the ancient weapons held no importance to the true history before she discovered Roger's message. Had she realized it earlier, she would have digged the information further or even tried to find the built-up pluton itself.

I don't know how much importance she holds to the weapons as of now though.
Yes she seemed interested in Shirahoshi, but her power was a lot more directly dangerous to the island (if she couldnt control it, if somebody found out, etc) or she could put it to good use to protect the island better. Plus Shirahoshi was a living being, pluton a huge warship.
maybe now she holds a bit more importance to it but until she finds out they actually have to be used later on, I don't think she is that much more interested in them. She's just more patient and such because she knows itll lead to the true history.
I don't think she is that much more interested in them
I think she has gained much interest in them since Roger's message. Like I said, she hid stuffs much more than she told us, and she hid them real well (especially with that poker face all the time, lol). Who knows, she probably already had her own solid analyisis on the true purpose of Noah and 'the promised day'. Heck, she probably had a guess about what One Piece is as well, along with the meaning of "will of D"… I think it's all about the right timing before she revealed them all to us.

New user here- I would just like to say that this theory has been put together very meticulously and ties together a lot of things! It’s as good a theory as any I’ve read so far. Well done OP!

Yeah, sometimes I feel like Robin is the main character and manga is just developing so Robin can find all the answers and tell us. You know, in many mangas, mangaka puts a character resembling himself/herself. That character can draw, write stories and aware of the environment more than any others. In One Piece that is Robin.

I read your theory and its very good , i got an other theory ( not by me ) i searched and found it on the net ,here it is ( dont give credits to me ):
Once there was a kingdom on the moon that had advance science technology and it's name was birka(idk if it's spelled right for the english ver. of onepiece but its how it's pernounced in korean). The people of birka could make robots and dials(the things that they use in sky…pia). However, they migrate to the blue planet because they run out of resources.(the blue planet is earth, and if you see the comic cuts with enel in it when he goes to the moon, you can see wrtings that say people of birka migrated to the blue planet because of lack of resources.) The ship schematic that the people of birka used to migrate is probably the one that Tom(franky's dad) had.
When the people from the moon(birka) came down to earth, they accepted everyone to join and use their technology in peace and soon developed into a huge kingdom. However, a secret organization wanted to take the power and authority of the ...birka for themselves and started a war. So the birka developed two weapons to win the war.
The weapons are named pluton and poseidon.(idk if the english ver. uses the same names for the weapons but these two weapons are mentioned several times during the comic) Pluton runs underneath the ocean floor to change the tides of the sea to make a shield against enemy ships. Later on, the trace of pluton's drilling underground builds up due to undersea volcano eruptions and becomes the "red line". Furthermore, the cambelt and the grandlne are formed which devided the ocean into four.
Poseidon is a cannon made from fairy bass.(sand from the moon) The sand from the moon has a tendency of coagulating sea water and the solid form of sea water made from the moon sand was used as the cannon ball. Later on, the cannon balls that were used during the war sank into the ocean floor and became ores called seastones.(the stones that devil fruit users are weak against)
even with these extraordinary weapons, the people from the moon lose the war after 100 years of fighting. They conceal the two weapons(pluton and poseidon) so the secret organization can't use it for themselves. The survivers of the people of the moon hide away from the secret organization and take the shape of a half moon 'D' to use as their middle name.(explains Monkey 'D' Luffy, Portgas 'D' Ace, Gol 'D' Roger and so on.)
The secret organization that betrayed and destroyed the people of the moon name themselves "World Government" and start a project to hide their wrongdoings. 1. They erase the 100 years of history of the War.(the 100 years of history that Robin wants to find) 2. They send 20 soldiers to the moon to erase any trace or evidence of the people of the moon.(The 20 soldiers that were sent to the moon are later called World Nobles and their offspring are treated like Kings. This also explains why World Nobles always wear space suits.)
The Survivors of the people of the moon make a small island called rapeutel so that the secret organization can't find them. 'One Piece' is in this iseland and Gol 'D' Roger was the only person to find the Iseland. The reason that Luffy, Ace, Roger, and Blackbeard are not on the Island even when they're all D's is because the people of the moon wanted the world to know the evil deeds done by the World Government. They made Poneglyph's(bits and parts of the 100 years of history) and placed it all around the world and sent out a selected number of their own people(D's) to find it and let the world know the truth. The Birka's(people of the moon) make one final secret weapon while they are on the island of Rapeutel. This weapon's ability is to take the four seperate seas that were devided by Pluton, and turn it back in to one Huge ocean(aka. all blue(the ocean sanji always dreams of)). Because it's ability is to turn four sea's in to one, the weapon is called "One Piece".

I didn't know the theory and have to say thanks for sharing. Don't listen to the haters.
Why does it have so many guests currently? o.o Something fishy about it…
What the duck, I had to screenshot that.
I just needed to create an account here, to add up one more idea.
I dont know if someone got that straight already (only read the first few pages),
but what is affecting the earth's tidal functions?
And what if we had 6 of them?
And what would happen if you had ALL of them in a row?
Hands down, 6 Moons affecting the tidal functions in a way like on normal earth and all of them standing in one row,
would create a big mess, mostly where the four seas meet.
Maybe enough to help to destroy the redline?
Leave me a comment how you liked my idea and how it could fit in =)
It was worth a read and huge props for all your efforts… If everything will happen like this... Dunno but it makes sense

You phrased it in a weird way but I get what you mean, and I must say it's not bad. Maybe the moons will actually have to be in line like that.
Could lead to a little timeskip after they've figured out when that will be. And in that timeskip they could gather their allies and prepare things and such.
The thing is we haven't actually seen those 6 moons. We don't know if they really do exist and orbitting the sphere.

Can't be arsed looking for a picture right now, but in the Ohara flashback in the big library we saw a globe, and there were several moons around it.
Probably 6 were into vision and maybe 1 or two were obscured behind it.

Shirahoshi is a cannon? News to me!
I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't think that this would be at all in character for either Luffy or Roger. Luffy's not a hero, he's not actively carrying out anyone's will, I can't speak for Roger, but do you think that Luffy would actually destroy Reverse Mountain? That he would try and 'fix' the Grand Line in the name of the commerce of a civilization that's been dead for 800 years? Luffy doesn't give a shit, Luffy wants to be the Pirate King, he doesn't want the magnetic fields to go away, he doesn't want the Grand Line to become boring, and Oda's not about to take every wonderful place he's ever created and 'fix' them. Why not pull Skypiea down from the sky so tourists can visit!?! We'll also get rid of the World Government, total overthrow, cos that would make the adventures much more fun. Why would Luffy ruin a place he loves so much? For the commoners? Luffy doesn't give two shakes about them, he cares about his nakama and that's it. If Luffy could, he'd make it more crazy, he'd have the magnetic fields flipping the islands 360 degrees so you had to ride cyclone rivers up into the sky to get to them!
I realise that I'm probably coming across as a bit insulting, and I'm sorry about that, but I think that while well thought out, this would absolutely destroy One Piece. Rayleigh's not a revolutionary, Roger just wanted to do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted and neither of them hated the World Government, not in my eyes. They don't want to overthrow it, and Luffy really probably only wants to kill Akainu. Luffy may have inherited Rogers will, but Roger never said or did anything that indicates he had a problem with the World Government. Roger was a pirate because it let him be free, he was fine letting everyone else who wanted to live with the government stay where they were. In fact, both of them have friends amongst the Marines in Garp, Smoker and Coby. I just don't think Luffy would do it, it would be OOC.

It's not rude, it's just simplistic.
Life sometimes bring you in place where you feel really awkward and don't really want to be.
You put all the life's efforts towards a goal, than something bigger, than you can't control happens, and everything f'up.
No matter how big you are, there's ALWAYS something bigger.
And…with great powers come great responsibilities.
I'm the first to say that Luffy is lighthearted to the point of being thick and that he need something to realize how much he's involved, willingly or not, in the kind of plan that has been mentioned, or something in the veins of that plan, but he's not going to be the Luffy that he is now.
Not possible and not interesting either.
