Well when the surprise was introduced, they seemed closed to it. Their score were 92,93,95 while planet busting was 100. So I would say their power grew as the story became bigger but not so much that it's inconsistent with the past.
With all this over-powered hax floating around I won't be surprised if Ichiryu gets resurrected.
If neither Jirou or Midora die, then I'd say he's most likely coming back.

Ichiryuu had black hair in his younger days. When he grew old, I thought that he just dyed it blonde. But… Don Slime's hair is... black.

I think it's the back channel since it is link to monkey balls and looks like a different dimension. The emperor ring is simply that weird weather that comes when the kings fight and with the wrap kitchen they should still be visible to the naked eye(Monkey had to stick his head out for Zongue to see him).

Looking back Ichiryuu told about the seed and it has an evil effect and that Midora was the cause to awaken that thing (Joa) and later we get information about Frozhe and she refused to be back to life which I think Frozhe has no choice
