Oh yeah what about Rival Schools 3 and the new Dark Stalkers ?
I am guessing all the fanboys were blinded by Street fighter x Tekken.

Capcom is going down
and so much more...
Ashura Wrath looks OK but not too impressive
Inafune releases an apology: http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/07/21/inafune_mega_man_apology/
Dammit man, it's not your fault, you don't have to apologize.
That makes me really sad…
It seems appropriate of him after I re-watched this old commentary yesterday.
It was a bit sadding to watch and I kinda calmed myself down upon viewing again.
I really want to try megaman legends but the prices are too much…
Anyone know if megaman 64 is a good port?
From what I've heard, its not that great. A lot of glitches and slowdown, but I've never actually played it myself.
It's a decent port actually. There's just a few… minor things. First off, I think there's this big useless building that's gone completely in the port(it was a really random thing to leave out honestly). Second off, the sound quality a bit poor and there are a few missing sound effects. I also think the draw distance was lower too(like you can only see enemies and objects if you are a certain distance to them) I remember it bugging me at first, but it's no big deal. The load times are faster. It's Megaman. AND it's the 64! I originally played it on my cousin's PS1 when I lived in New York.

Oh my freakin god…and not this isn't a lie and it was happily copy and pasted by me. I'm sure that post is still there if somebody checks if you think I'm lying as well.

The fans all around the world take action.

I sadly still don't have or have played MML2 or MoTB. 2 is upwards of $50-$60 used, and Tron Bonne is over 100 bloody dollars. I got my used copy of the first game for the PS1 off eBay a little over a year ago for $15. The copy is complete and in great shape.
I see a lot of people here displeased about Capcom's recent… mistakes, to say the least, but I'm wondering how many of you will buy Ultimate MVC3.
Looking on the bright side, at least I won't have to waste my money on a 3DS.

Interesting article. But this is where I shook my head in disgust:
The anonymous collective that is 4chan was even considering a DDoS attack on Capcom's servers in retaliation. (Do not be mistaken: I do not condone this.)
I'm not hating on the author as he clearly doesn't condone such a selfish and immature act…. but it just reminded me of how the idea of boycotting something has severely changed in today's age of internet safety and fanboy entitlement.
It honestly makes me mad to think that fans would consider something so low. yeah, Capcom pulled a low ass heel move on it's fans. So if yer mad.... then boycott em like ol' Buuhan here. Hacking makes yah scum in my book, pure scum. Like total fucking cat poop mixed with cat pee scum. Cowardly bottom feeder, dick cheese scum suckers.
if it makes you mad enough to do something like hacker attacks that also affects gamers too then i'll offer this traditional piece of advice:
It's a fucking videogame kid....get over it and get a fucking life.
I think there's more been more rage flung about over the cancellation of this game than there ever was excitement that it existed in the first place
^true that.
TRUE THAT.

One game doesn't justify spending a large amount of money on device still trying to prove itself so in a way Capcom did you a favor.
I welcome the 4chan attacks. If Sony got hit for taking a feature away from a console, why shouldn't Capcom for taking an entire game away? I hope their entire network gets taken out, along with the MvC3 and SSF4 servers. Oh, how I'd smile, but I don't think this is going to get that high-profile. Then again, looooots of hacking going on recently.

Look at all the butthurt that Activision caused when they cancelled Brutal Legend and look at the reception it got. Some gamers talk a good game (no pun intended) when they bitch about some big name publisher canceling a big project but if by the grace of god the project gets second chance more likely than not they're not going to give two shits about the final product.
You don't bait a loyal fanbase for a year over a game they've been wanting for over a decade and then just turn and walk away.
I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about. It's not common for excitement to constantly remain apparent during the period of development. Especially since it isn't one of those games that allows constant updates mid development(like fighting games or shooters). When this shit was annouced, there WAS excitement and hype. Not as much since it wasn't a big HD console everyone owns, but still alot of exitment for a handheld game nonetheless. So I'm calling bullshit on smartass statements like "hur hur… look at how the fan woke up after the gamze was canned. dey was never exited."
Yeah, that's bullshit. This was pretty big hype and it was just for the 3DS. If this game was for the PS3/360 it would've been huge.

Ah this is where our level's of butthurt separate Buuhan.
Capcom losing customers and business is fine with me. But fuck hackers. FUCK HACKERS. There are still innocent gamers out there enjoying good capcom games (ssf4 and MvC3 to some) and don't you dare say they deserve that over a game being canceled.
No.
But would it be entertaining to see the result of that actually happening? Yes, yes it would. I'm sure the Microsoft fanboys were very entertained during the PSN hack/downtime.
The PSN attack wasn't even intended as an attack on the PSN though.
No.
But would it be entertaining to see the result of that actually happening? Yes, yes it would.
Easy for you to say since you don't play those games. You want others to feel your pain too?
I'm sure the Microsoft fanboys were very entertained during the PSN hack/downtime.
Yeah, the immature, dumb ones who reminded me about it every chance they got when they'd come in my store, like it mattered.
I'm bitter, dammit! I wasn't even planning to get a 3DS till it was cheap, but I was still planning to buy a copy of MML3 once it hit even if I couldn't play it.
I've got Gekko's back on this. I'm bummed, also not going to buy UMvC3 out of principle because I disliked how they handled that (unrelated to MML3 of course, fueled more by a pure lack of interest), but other than having a lot of fun just saying FUCK CAPCOM I'm not thinking hackers look like fun.
Hacking would only make things worse. It would ruin the experience of many other gamers most likely, and it wouldn't bring back Megaman Legends 3 or anything. It'd just be an attack for the sole sake of vengeance.
I don't know why your so mad.
It was clearly our fault.
Also Inafune response.
The former Capcom executive posted to his blog today an apology to staff and fans alike for what has transpired. While he did not address the game by name, his intent was clear as he wrote “The decision for the cancellation was out of my sphere, but as someone who took part in the development, I’d like to convey something to the staff: I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of assistance.” According to Andriasang, who summarized the Japanese post, his assistance may not have been needed (beyond simply keeping the project from being scrapped, anyway. –Ed.), as he went on to say that the staff had such “tremendous motivation” that his help was unnecessary. This makes him all the more saddened by the cancellation, though he encouraged the staff to “turn their feelings of sadness around and work towards making an even better game.”
Addressing the fans who had hoped and waited so long for this game to come to fruition, he simply said “I’m truly sorry I couldn’t take part until the end.” He also included himself among the fans, continuing to keep track of the game’s progression even following his departure from the company creating it.
“I didn’t buy a 3DS for this project,” he notes, “but at the very least I’d like to have played the demo.”

Given how common this is starting to become…I'd say yes you do.
I see a lot of people here displeased about Capcom's recent… mistakes, to say the least, but I'm wondering how many of you will buy Ultimate MVC3.
Dude.
It's got Phoenix Wright.
I most likely will, and I'm really not happy about that fact.
Yep, and that's exactly why Capcom does it. I never knew people are so inclined to buy the same game multiple times. I honestly don't get why people buy fighters from Capcom when they first come out anymore, knowing full well a more "complete" version at a cheaper price will come out a year later.
Because people can't wait and will likely be more skilled when the new version comes out while the ones who get will struggle for awhile.
That's how I see it.
But those same exact people will turn around and buy the new version, despite already owning it.
I will look into buying it if is a decent port or buy the original PS version depending of the money

Holy moly. What's up with those prices? My copy of the game is worth that much money?
No, it is not. I dunno where the hell that $550 price point comes from. MML1 goes for $15-$20. MML2 goes for $50-$60. MoTB goes for $100-$110.
Sorry those are mexican pesos xD, a dollar equals to 11.7 mexican pesos so divide everything by 11.7 and you will get the dollar prices

It's the same with COD (same game all the time), although I have to be fair and acknowledge Capcom's lower price on these Ultra or Super or Turbo or Remix or w/e games.

Lolwut??
Capcom. Always blaming the fans. Considering they already had said they were gonna make it so people had to respond to the Demo to decide.

Lolwut??
Wow. Eat a dick, Capcom.
Okay guys I never played any game in the Legends series, but after reading up on all this, THIS IS FUCKING BULLSHIT.
Not sure if this is true, but Mega Man Network is also posting about it: http://i.imgur.com/pasxW.jpg
And…
http://www.themmnetwork.com/2011/07/21/more-from-capcom-europe-on-twitter/
Ahahaha
And this was pretty nice:
I've heard multiple reports from fans at comic con that capcom told people not to discuss Mega Man or cosplay as megaman characters.
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Kfb6kGYII_c/TihahKTxwZI/AAAAAAAAGtw/bLP0qnPMJLc/s1600/SDCCpasxW.jpg
And I Know it's from 4chan, but multiple people at TVTropes, Gamefaqs, GoNintendo, the live-chat (which is swamped with Legends-related outrage, I might add) and Twitter are saying it's true Thank you Capcom, for giving me reasons not to feel bad about boycotting you. .
There have got to be classier ways to shield yourself from rotten tomatoes and verbal smears than that.
In a way, this whole affair is quite fascinating.

Lolwut??
Wow…Go fuck yourself. Go fuck yourself with broken glass.
Who's the douchebag running the Capcom Euro Twitter?
