I'mma available all day Sunday~ :3
Group Focus: The Back Scratching Initiative
-
-
I'm free on the 2nd as well.
-
This seems like something really interesting. I'd like to join at some point of time if that's coolio.
-
I shall gladly ruin everyone's Sunday morning.
-
Sunday night? Awright.
-
Conference this morning.
Feel free to tell the world.~
-
I will most certainly not be at the night conference.
I'll probably sleep through the morning one. :I
-
Kitsune confirmed for SUCKING
-
I confirmed that I'm not doing anything Sunday evening, so I'll pop in. With my secondary Skype account too.
-
Conference is about to start.
-
Just checking: the night conference is at 6pm Pacific, 8 Central, 9 EST, right?
-
That's correct, sir.
By the way, the morning conference went pretty well. We had serious to semi-serious discussions for the full 3 hours and generated a lot of feedback and conversation. I think you guys can count on getting something back out of the next one.
-
Sorry I missed the chat, guys; I was called in last minute to cover a co-worker's shift on Sunday (and then pulled a double today….sigh....). Wish I could have been there. Hopefully I can drop in on the next one :(
-
Alright guys, if you're interested then I'd like to host another conference on December 29th, 2012. The times will be the usual that I do:
8:00-11:00 AM + Central TimeCANCELLED
8:00-11:00 PM + Central Time–-
I'll have questions prepared and would like to wrap the year up by seeing how you guys have felt, as far as writing, over the course of 2012. Though everyone, as always, is invited to participate and watch. You may ask as many writing-related questions as you would like and can introduce subjects you'd like to discuss.
Hope you guys can make it and thanks for all of your participation over the past year.~
-
Alright, so this thing is tomorrow and since I'm pretty sure there's not going to be a whole lot of attendance, I'm cancelling the morning conference and will only be hosting the evening one. If you'd like to come then feel free to, everyone is welcome.
-
I'll probably make the evening conference as usual.
-
I'll come.
-
I can't make it~
-
Boo, and I was planning on attending the morning one with certainty. I can't make the night one.
-
I'll be there for the evening one for sure.
-
Can't make the evening one… as usual.
-
Would've come in the morning, probably. Might do in the evening, but … it's late.
-
For those that were going to go to the morning conference and can't make it to the evening one, feel free to respond to this thread since it contains the same premise as the main body of discussion we're going to have at the conference.
Also, I'll be on Skype throughout the day, so if you'd like to engage in unofficial conversation on conference-related material then feel free to at least talk to me about it. If we're lucky, 2 or 3 of us might show up at the same time and we can have a pseudo-conference here and there throughout the day.
-
I forgot to post my thoughts of that night's session. I want to apologize if things do go a bit off topic or if I do talk a bit much(despite being uncertain about everything). Aside that, I thought it was a nice little thing to do before the year was over. It was interesting that Kenny was going through his old drafts to see how his old writing translated today, and I'm curious enough to dig through my very old comics of drafts as well. If it does come up again in the future session, I might see if I'm confident enough to just.. read the stuff out loud(though I'm not sure if that would contribute much aside from laughs)
-
I don't think I would ever be confident enough to share my old drafts. Unless I was crowned like… irrefutable best writer of the world or something.
-
I feel like having a meeting 1/25/13 6am-9am and 6pm-9pm PST.
Any conflicts in schedule there? Also please say if you can't make morning or not.
-
Aye, Friday is the one day of the week that I know I can't make it on. Would it be impossible to consider either Saturday or Sunday instead?
-
Unfortunately, Friday's the only day I can make it myself. :\
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Actually, scratch that. I forget that I'm unavailable basically every weekend ever. So don't listen to me.~
-
Could make the later part of the morning one, and I could make the evening one, I guess.
-
I might make it on the morning one on Friday, but I can't guarantee it. Saturday is a definite no-no, while Sunday is another possibility.
-
I may actually make the morning one~
no problems here!
-
The reason I chose Friday is because it's the one day I know I have off. I can consider Sunday but I won't find out about that availability until this Thursday.
-
Just a heads up my comp is being serviced by Geek Squad but it should be done by Friday. I'll be in and out between then if you have questions.
-
Fridays won't work for me now that school has started up. Not sure about the weekends at this point.
-
I realized I didn't choose Saturday because I couldn't host in the morning, but that's a dumb reason in retrospect.
I'd like to host Morning and Evening on Friday and Evening on Saturday. Sorry for the short notice just got comp back.
That cool with y'all? -
Shit, what's Pacific time in Central? If it's 6 am there then it's 8 am for me, right? I might be able to make the morning one and then the two evening ones.
I just got back today and I'm planning to work out tonight so I'm going to want to sleep in. But I've been regularly waking up at 4 am for the past 2 weeks so I might automatically wake up earlier, much to my chagrin.
-
I'll be available for the morning one today, but I might be late~
-
Ammendum: I won't be doing morning on Sunday but I will be doing evening.
-
This post is deleted!

Alright guys, I would like for everyone to please let me know what days throughout the year you are generally free on. From there, I'll construct a schedule throughout the year that surrounds everyone's best days. List AS MANY days as you can on which ones you can feasibly be free on (optional to let us know if you're free on mornings and/or nights).
I would really appreciate swift (or any) responses. By the way, assume that there's going to be a conference either next week or the week after because I'm planning on having one soon.
-
Uh, you do realize that both employed people and uni students tend to have quite irregular schedules that can change drastically on a few hours' notice if something interesting happens, right? I'm not sure if everyone will be able to give even a general list. I, for instance, have no knowledge whatsoever of my schedules beyond the midway point of May. It all depends on my employment status for the summer and next fall, not to mention that my studying schedule is bound to undergo changes come next semester.
That said, at the moment I'm pretty much always free on Mondays, Wednesdays and the weekends. Fridays may rarely work, but I'm usually out of town in the evenings. At least for now. Depends if I stick with this another writers' group I've been going to, which is not necessarily the case.
-
My schedule is as irregular as Dryish says. I literally have little control of my destiny in that regard. Though, I typically work overnights on weekends, which means I can usually appear right at the start of or a little later into a weekend meeting.
I think it might be best if we just do these on a sort of regular schedule with the day falling back one day each time, like i.e.
First Saturday of April
First Friday of May
First Thursday of Juneand so on and so forth.
Just a suggestion.
-
Saturday mornings are usually my free time since I don't go to work till 6:30 PM EST. That's really the only consistent time I'm off.
-
I'm open to all suggestions.

I don't mind doing this but if we were to follow this pattern then another organizer would have to organize some of the conferences because I'm not always going to be free on the first "anything" of any month.
-
I can tell you that Fridays and Thursdays won't work at least for now, but I'm pretty open to anything else.
-
I can't really give a concrete schedule, especially since I have to drive my mother around because of her medical condition. :/
In the next week I should be available Friday and Saturday nights. Hopefully it'll be the same the next week although on Sat I do have my monthly anime club (I can skip if I have to choose between that and this).
-
If we can figure out a week or so in advance who would be available to host, we can work something out, I guess. But yeah, irregular schedules abound :\
-
I guess we'll just continue to do it business as usual and schedule according to anyone's given schedule at any given time (so no pre-scheduled conferences months in advance).
Alright then, looking over everyone's "general" free time, it seems as though Saturday is everyone's, more or less, best day. So next Saturday I'll be hosting a conference at the usual times:
8:00-11:00 AM Central Time
8:00-11:00 PM Central Time–-
Be there or be square.~
-
I should be able to make the night session.
-
Morning should be no problem~
