Kinda lame there wasn't a fight between Hodi and Zoro. Wanted to see Hodi becoming increasingly frustrated before getting taken out and resorting to the pills.

It depends on what definition of beautiful you're going for. Shirashoshi is a "cute" type of beautiful while Hancock would be more of a "hot" type of beautiful.
I suddenly find myself wanting a mock up archie cover with Shirashoshi and Hancock replacing Betty and Veronica.

I seriously doubt Hodi is down already, but this shows that he will not be this arc boss anyway.
His lieutenants are still in perfect condition, so I believe we'll learn they actually work for another fishmen and are as strong as (or stronger than) Hodi. There is also that octopus merman who could be hired by the said person.
I expect some ex-ally of Jinbe back in the time when he worked along with Arlong (someone as strong as Jinbe or maybe even his previous boss). -
u can tell if someone is fodder or not just by lookin at the character if they are not unique = they are fodder..

Wow, what a better chapter than I was expecting from peeking at the spoilers. All the issues discussed there were pretty much nullified, like the loss of tension being mitigated by Nami's stating there are way stronger enemies on the island and such.

Despite VDD being being beaten by Luffy quickly I think he is one of the people stronger than Hodi, also Hyouzou of course,
I think the guy who is the master of Fishman Dojo (if there is one of course) is another contender.

On another note, I'm kind of disappointed that Nami and Camie kind of abandoned Usopp and Brook. I mean, Zoro will make his way for sure but she could have at least cared a bit for the other two...

And i doubt big mom underlings would be a problem if anything she dislikes hordy if they were working for her than i dont see how they couldn't have taken over the island already. -
I guess Robby has been right all this time, this is gonna be one looong arc, with many more bad guys. I have a feeling that Hodi and Decken will still have a big part to play, but at least we know that Hodi won't be the big bad of the arc.

Decken's still got a part to play in this, I think. He took a pretty heavy blow from Luffy - and got up quickly enough. Now he obviously isn't going to give our top three any serious trouble unless they're really handicapped, but don't completely write him out yet. Not as arc villain, mind, but not a complete non-threat. I still think he may be one of those people that Hatchan was talking about as stronger than Hodi.
Hodi, though… well, now I just wonder about Jimbei's message. Even so, he still hasn't popped any pills. Maybe it'll be like back in the Kuro arc when Zoro fought those cat guys - his fat stopped Zoro's cut from taking him out entirely and he powers up massively >_> Though he's obviously (and thankfully, I felt all along that we just couldn't get Arlong 2.0 for a big bad) not the arc villain.

Why not? That just puts more emphasis on how powerful the SH and M.trio have become if Brooke handles somebody who would likely be a good opponent for pre-ts Zoro. I doubt Luffy has used CoA since hitting the Kraken so Hyouzo is still fair game for Brook or a Prince. Won't be Zoro's serious fight.

He was called strong by **post-**TS Luffy and blocked a **post-**TS Jet Pistol without breaking a sweat. Remember how Rob Lucci couldn't block **pre-**TS Jet Pistols? Why would he not be Zoro's serious fight at this point?
But whatever, I'm not going to continue a power level discussion, but I don't get why you would think that Brooke can handle Hyouzou as things stand now.

Nami remembers something from her time with arlong im sure of it. Neptune knows whats up also. Obviously a deep dark secert hangs over Hodi so scary that neptune decided to switch to offense instead of being a sitting duck in his castle.

I noticed a translation mistake in page 18
Mangastream has it totally opposite of what Nami said.
In the original script (and what I can make out of the Japanese cam pic of the page, although the stupid watermark is hiding half of it), Nami is worried that Zoro and others will piss off Hodi.
However in the translation by mangastream, it says exactly opposite of that, Nami ISN'T worried about the fact.

I thought it made sense that she wasn't worried. I thought Nami was just being Nami but if Aohige says it's wrong then it probably is.
