YES tytytytytytytyty!
new cover story :D
Saw it practically as it went up. Amazing coincidence.
Somehow Shirahoshi reminds me a bit of the baby from "Spirited Away"…or Rapunzel. (maybe Oda saw "Tangled" and got an idea for it) Though...it should be interesting where this goes with Hodi and Vander Decken (awesome design BTW) working together now.
Lol, this thread opened as i was posting in the spoiler thread. Now i lost my post.
Whoooby! Thanks everyone who brought this to my eyes!
wow
chapter is quickj and i think the news paper is reporting the crew i see Zoro franky and luffy

Yeah it says The Strawhats are back, they were spotted on shabondy. Or something like that, it was in the spoiler thread.
EDIT: or as mangastream has it: The Straw Hat Pirates are completely revived
Although the chapter holds its own, what make me happy really is that we finally have a cover story again.
Btw, I don't get why Decken has 4 legs o_O
great chapter.
Looks as if Vander Decken is misunderstood. He's trying to use his DF to show his love to the princess but of course it just comes across as his attempts to murder her. He doesn't seem like that big of a bad guy yet then. But who knows??
edit" Well besides the whole, if she won't love me I'll murder her vibe.
So Vander Decken has a devil fruit
Damn, Usopp has turned badass. Also, I guess he has more than one Kabuto? In the colorspread he had a white one and he specifically said "Black" Kabuto here.
wow

I think the spoiler thread, Aohige said it's talking about the Strawhats' return.

Enjoy!!
Kind thanks, sir.
And once again.
The princess looks nothing like Nami.
She looks like what a girl would look like if Oda drew shoujo manga.
This chapter was just plain epic: Vander decken is a fishman with a DF, Luffy befriends the mermaid princess, Usopp is badass, Zoro is badass, Brook's badass face
Like has been speculated in the spoiler discussion, he probably needs to touch someone to be able to target them with his fruit. Hence why he shakes hands with Hodi Jones he started to take off his glove to do so.
Wow, so freaking early! Nice surprise.
Next Chapter: Princesses Goes Wild #1. Shirahoshi will play a big role in the destruction of FI, by BIG I mean the whole sense of the word.
Oh and one more thing. USOPP MANLINESS… I like. My observation for Usopp's new weapon last chapter was correct too. XD
So I'm assuming that Vander Dekken's power has something to do with holding hands or a body part of his possible target. I wonder how he was able to make contact with crybaby Shirahoshi
It looks like the Princess's tail may have split, she has two different tails.
Seems Oda is just too lazy to draw the bubble around Luffy. Curious seeing how he took so much care with Vander Decken.
Hmm, five minute rule. I don't think this rule is quite as arbitrary as it sounds. There's got to be a reason why five minutes.

No, it's just moving.

He's not in water. Look at the floor of Shirahoshi's room. You can see water around her bed, but not going over it.
usopp is badass again , nice
and the villians are very interesting , love how vander decker looks

Judging by the motion lines, I'd say it's just Her moving her tail back and forth. Kind of like a dog wagging its tale
Usopp's handheld Kabuto is great. And I love that they're dealing with fishmen now like it's no problem.
Good chapter.
I loved the panels between Luffy and the princess.
So funny!
wow…
1. the king is HUGE.
2. I wonder what will happen when the princess choose to leave
3. Looks like Hodi and Venderdecken will both be the bosses, more likely venderdecken for luffy
4. Usopp's Black Kabuto, i wonder what its all about
5. The Princess looks like she will be annoying
6. Did Zoro cut up the Trident?
7. Brook looked like he could take the power of Neptune's atk there, since he didn't try to dodge but rather defend (if zoro didn't show up)
Now we can be 100% sure that a fishman can eat a devil fruit. All that is left to know is whether he can still swim or breath under water
Prety awesome chapter all around.
I like how they left Wadatsumi outside in the street XD

Ahh, you are right.
Luffy sure is confident. I wonder if that is just his gut instinct or whether he has gotten an estimate of everyone's strength because of haki.
Things are heating up!

But why was he in that bubble at the end then?
also (unrelated) Vander Decken has 4 LEGS!!!
There was a bubble coat on VDD ship. I don't think no-one noticed that with the small pics. Now it's clear. Oh, and the line where he blames King Neptune on his intro makes his alliance with Hodi a little more clear.
Next time I'll wait till the full chapter's out to talk.
BTW, where's the "Wapometal" or something like that reference??
wow

All of the Strawhats are shown in the newspaper.
@Elektrik:
Why does Van Der Deacken need a bubble and that glove???? :wassat:
While it's not confirmed that Decken's power is based on a devil fruit, that is the most likely scenario and explains the bubble quite handily: he may be a fishman, but that doesn't negate the standard weakness of devil-fruit users.
As for the glove, my guess is that it has something to do with his power, but there's no data on that as of yet.

I think it was something small on the Newspaper that Mangastream didn't bother to translate.
Hmmm the glove thing is interesting.
Maybe he has to touch someone to make them a target of his ability.
Shirahoshi is adorable, I wonder if she'll have a important role in future events.
Vander Decken and Hodi… I wonder who's gonna betray who first?
Awesome chapter!
Usopp Speech was great he sound Like real man!
The crew is much tougher now then what they used to be before the timeskip.
Zoro is blocking King neptune attack as if it was nothing serious! Brook was also ready to receive that attack which shows how much did he grow in the past 2 years.
I didn't like Van der Decken so much but, he should be an exciting character!
For some reason, I feel Zoro is even more badass than before.
Things are getting more and more interesting.
I wonder if the cover story will show everyone's reaction in the one piece world.
What I really liked was Luffy telling Shirahoshi that he doesn't like her, because she's a crybaby. Reminded me of when he met Coby.

It was said he has DF powers.
I love Vander Decken's design, Oda really loves him some Michael Jackson! Hahaha, pretty cool that he stuck him in a bubble because of his devil fruit powers (or at least that's what I would assume).
Vander Decken and Hodi… I wonder who's gonna betray who first?
Well Hodi seesm to be a lot smarter than Dekken.
Although I have to wonder how Caribou is going to figure into this.
Also now I think of it a fishman with DF powers would be in a whole world of trouble.
This arc is gonna be awesome- I think
Curious that Nami's Climatact (presuming it is her Climatact, of course) now looks like a normal staff again…
Also: "Did 'nose' always sound that reliable?" XD
Strange that a character who lives under the see has a Devil Fruit.. unless his power doesn't come from a fruit..
I think the five minute rule is just some sort of safety precaution, to ensure the guards do not do anything..
And about Van Der Decken's hand, I think that he may be plotting to simply use Hordy Jones to get to Shirahoshi, so when his hand turned black, he was placing his target on Hordy, (unless when his hand is normal, that signifies that he can choose a new target). My theory is: Black hand (similar to the black spot in the pirate era) means he has chosen a new target, so in this case, Hordy is his new target because he's realized after 10 years that simply throwing weapons will not work, so once he gets Hordy's help, he will dispose of him, and set his sights back on the Princess
It was said he has DF powers.
Mangastream's translation doesn't say that explicitly, but that's what I believe it implies…
so when his hand turned black, he was placing his target on Hordy, (unless when his hand is normal, that signifies that he can choose a new target).
The dude was putting on a glove….

great theory. it would make sense too if his hand actulaly turned black. But it didnt, he was simply putting a glove on it
