@CharmedWard:
Nolus I've had that problem so many times in the past. I start something I really like (see, brownies, sea cadets, archery as just a few examples) and I'll take part for about a year. After that I get really uncommited and just stop having fun. So I'll ask you, is baranta still fun for you? If not, then ask yourself why you're doing it.
I started it because it looked like a badass, awesome martial art with swords and axes and wrestling. Also, because I wanted to get back into shape and wanted to meet new people. Sadly, I realized most of them are middle aged men.
I realized it's more like drawing for me. I never want to be a professional, I just want to draw for fun. Just like my great-grandfather. He painted so many beautiful pictures, wrote fairy tales and as far as I know, he all learnt it by himself. He was a car mechanic, so painting or writing were never his professions.
That's what I want. Drawing, writing, and learning some good wrestling moves just for fun! Not for competitions and such.
I talked to my mom about it. And you know what, mothers have some strange powers. They always know what to say in hard situations. They always know what to do.
So, now I calmed down. For keeping myself in shape, I'll probably ride a bike, run in circles around the district, and such.
As for meeting people… my mom said I should wait for the university. Also, she said I might meet some nice people at the faculties and the art courses.
Thank you Charmy, you are right! I should ask myself: Do I want it? The answer will uhm... give me the answer!
