i noticed they changed for actors for her/him (Iva)…which do u guys prefer? i personally liked the first one...and is the new voice actor/actress the permanent one? if so, what happened to the first one?:wassat:

i prefer imamura and i think it's a shame that toei decided to change seiyuus due to a reason like that … obviously quality doesn't always matter.

anyways, i do prefer the original, mainly because he put more force into his words, but this new isn't so bad either. honestly i cant hate on the new one, because he isn't really getting much of a speaking role as of this current arc, just a line here and there

The new guy is okay, but no one can come close to Norio's voice for Ivankov.
Especially during the "HEEHAW!" moments.

Imamura fits Ivankov to a T. I still cringe now and then at the new voice actor, but I'm slowly getting used to him.

It's not like it's up to him to just take the role back. That's Toei's decision, and it seems they are happy with the new actor.

The old seiyuu suffered from a stroke (thankfully, he's not dead). Dunno if he'll come back, most likely not.

I definitely like Imamura more, his voice was a great fit for Ivankov. The new seiyuu is slowly growing on me, but he'll always be second banana.

Original is always better but I forgot what the old one sounds like now. New guys Heehaw sucks though. I read that some other characters got different voice actors like mihawk and jimbei I think. Mihawk never talks so I don't care what they do with him and I haven't noticed a change from jimbei.

I want the original Iva-sama back! The difference is too noticeable. Although I've heard the new voice a couple of times I still can't get used to it especially the "Heehaw". I am not quite sure what's missing. I know that he have been trying his best for the role but the flair of Norio Imamura's Ivankov was hard to beat.
It's a sad loss but somehow we had to cope. It would be quite difficult for Imamura to come back to his role even if he's already out of prison.
