@Zero:
"Final Fantasy 6 remake."
A remake of Final Fantasy VII is what most fans are really waiting for.
Only if they started with that one because it was their first rpg ever due to the "impressive" (at the time) graphics and commercials and mainstream-ness of it. They've already basically remade and regraphiced the game, it was called Crisis Core. We know what that world and characters would be like with a remake now, and 92.3% of the plot of FF7 hinges on the flashback material and locations that CC showcased anyway.
Chrono Trigger shouldn't have a sequel. It should stay prestine and as perfect as it was from the day it was created. Sometimes sequels destroy a title, prequels too. Just look at the Xenogears/Xenosaga conversion. A very good RPG turned into a series of melodramatic soap operas.
And yet they made Chrono Cross all the same. So, there you go. They owe me a real sequal after that.
There was very little in FFXIII that actually did suck.
I haven't played it myself, (i'm still in the previous gaming gen) but consensus is that its very pretty, but boring, no exploration, and that combat sucks after the first couple hours. I know quite a few die hard gamers that have just given up on it and stopped playing it before the end.
@HEATXZ:
Breath of Fire was made by Capcom and there's already a Breath of Fire 5 and it wasn't good,
I was asked what I would want Square to do.
And Dragon Quarter doesn't count, they knew they were doing something different and sucky, thats why it wasn't a numbered title.
