ok… as done with the linework as I can be. It's as clean as possible, it should be no problem to color, tried to connect all the lines and make it clean. I have to eat something and run errands. Is scanning it at 300dpi good enough? Is there anything else I have to do? Sorry to leave you high and dry on coloring. I can try to copic it but only after I get my priorities done. Scanning at 300 dpi is all thats required, and I can take care of the coloring, that IS my job after all. That looks like it'd be a fun piece to color anyway!

hmmm tips? uhm… to be honest, I really love fashion, fabrics, and textures. So I get a lot of fashion magazines, and they really help a lot. It has a lot to do with weight, fabric, and how it lands over the figure. Know where things are pulling, tugging, stretching, and draping. Make the fabrics help tell the story of the picture. Sorry, not the best advice, but it's all I have. >_<

W magazine is one of my favorites. It's mostly high fashion and haute couture so the designs are inspiring with interesting fabrics. Plus they have wonderful photography. Bazaar is OK as well. These magazines are great for poses as well. You can sometimes find subscriptions on the cheap, I got one to W for $4.50 with a free scarf. Can't beat that with a stick.
BTW Robby, thanks for the opportunity. I never get my artwork out there, so this is really nice. Plus you're coloring it. Really, thank you.

I'm not 100% sure at this point. Still waiting for a few pieces of art to drop in, and some of the in-house stuff to get done, and some decisions on quality control.
But we can probably use some more swimsuit pieces yet. It's not exactly hitting the deadline like it needed to, but you have all been a great great help in getting it close enough to manage.

And yeah, there's been a deadline extension. The intent was to get the books out today, but obviously thats not happening. So, slight reprieve. You folks have a couple more days to do some more, if you want. Friday is the new goal, though obviously the sooner, the better, especially if you're just doing lineart, so I have more time to color it.
And I am totally coloring that Futurama style one next.

I was thinking of that initially, but my guy thinks it will detract from the character. There is a lot of color subtlety in it that will be smashed to pieces with a dark, rich jungle. I don't know the comic at all so I have no idea where she'd be, I'm just thinking of Indie XD
