I'm just holding on to any scraps of hope.
When it sings, Dawn of Justice is a wonder. When it drags, it still looks good and offers hints of a better scene just around the corner.
Thanks Richard Roeper. T_T

@LazySketcher:
You know, I think tons of people, myself included, will enjoy this movie despite its shortcomings. Regardless of its flaws, it's making movie history, and that's something no one can take away from DC fans and comic book fans alike. Against it's competition it may very well fall short, sure, but even so it's still Supes, Bats, and WW together, live action, for the first time ever.
If somewhere down the line, years and years later, some other director or creative team comes back to the DC trinity/JL for a reboot film or something, we'll all be able to look back on this movie, either fondly or with disdain. For most of you here (and a lot of other folks apparently), I'll assume the latter, which is fine. Either way BvS is here, and I'm gonna fucking watch it.
I'm with you, man.
But some of the people who will most vehemently reject the film are not surprisingly DC fans though. It's just not the case for every DC fan that they'll just accept the movie for what it is. This movie looks like it's going to turn into a love/hate relationship across the smorgasbord all the way from the causal viewer, to the most hardened critic, and back to the most ardent fanboy. There looks like it's going to be an even divide…maybe.
