Nah, it's not you. Kawashita's style tends to make characters look a bit generic due to how she draws they eyes mainly and the face sometimes.
That's the sad part: there are so many artists even in Jump who draw great girls and can make them unique in their appearance. Yet…we get Kawashita.
Heck, I'd easily take Kubo (yes, you just heard that right) drawing a fanservice poster with all these girls over...well, this. (of course, he'd probably rage in Nami being bigger than Orihime)

While it's true Kaya has gotten more on-screen focus so far than Azuki, don't forget Bakuman is still an ongoing manga.
And it's not like is important, but Kaya's role is pretty much over, and her latest appearances have been focused on her job and her housewife-status, while Azuki still has a long way and… you know what I mean.
But hey, I'm not who to try to convince you. Whatever the two of us think, I'll just let the plot advance
The last line of your message made me remember that from 75% to 90% of the times, the heroine of a manga ends up paired with it's male main character and vice versa. Of course, there're certain exceptions too.

That doesn't matter in this case, Rukia did much more than boob lady but guess who is the cover representing Bleach, and Kyoko from Reborn is a really minor character now, Chrone should be the one there.

You're misinterpreting the latest Bakuman chapter, PCP is ;as far as i understand it; not the classical arc type manga its more like Case Closed with only a few chapters related together. One Piece is an typical arc based manga like Naruto, Bleach….
And i can tell you One Piece had really good results in the beginning, worst rank ever was 9.

Sometimes it takes a while before scans pop up for one-shots or newer Jump series.
Scans for the one-shots normally only appear if that series became a jump series.
