There is no new series during the Golden Cup, is there ?
Seems like Shoodan won't lift the football serie curse. Maybe Yoko should try something else than a sport serie next time.

They are going to update the viz app and I don't know how my status of "illegally paying customer" will go on from here. I had to move my main amazon account to Europe so its not going to be straightforward at all.

Can you tell me anything else about the golden super cup entry 1? Looks like the guy who drew GashBell is the artist
I'd guess it is just a similar art style, the cup is for rookies and raiku is a veteran already.

As Maxterdexter said, Golden Future Cup is for the newbies. So, Raiku isn't doing that one shot.

Jesus, Shonen Jump is getting weird af since last week, Marie even left the last place, and Boruto position is so weird =S
For some reason I always thought color pages were for series doing well. Boruto is 2nd to last?
My Hero seems to be up a little from last time. Not sure which chapter that was reflecting.
But yeah…All the series seem super shuffled.

Got today Weekly Shonen Jump Ten Vol. 01 - Official Catalog, it's amazing!! Text are in japanese and english :)
!
Oh, pretty interesting read, thanks.
If I get this right, then a stubborn author, even newbies, could carry their shambling unpopular series as long if they manage to convince their editor?
Even if that's true, there is no way that the upper management won't encourage the editors to encourage the mangaka to end it. In a way it needs to be true, as is the authors who will draw that ending, and pissing off the editorial and the fans alike is not a good idea.
And the vice editor in chief is the one who signs on all of the big decision, as pay and table of content exposure. I'd guess the chief is busy.

Also, they have the control over their live hood as well, if they decide to pay less per pages, then the author might not be able to pay for the studio, assistants or living expenses.

If it is unpopular it is cut. It says it is the readers who decide. But the ending quality is up to the author

The viz app isn't letting me subscribe again easily like last year.

Welp, I'm not paying through a proxy nor a third party provided apk. I sadly must go back to being full pirate.
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
Fuck, I want to keep paying for my shit, it has bothered me all day that when I want to reread things I'll have to go back to the seedy sites.
It looks like there is a rumor saying that Man Gatarou (author of Chinyuuki) will be returning to Shounen Jump. I wonder if this is true or not.
Just use a proxy to access the Viz website and pay for it. It takes 5 minutes and then you get a year of official Viz Jump. Thanks for reminding me of resubbing, btw.
I guess I have to pay for a good proxy as well then.

Unless something changed recently you just have to install an older version of the Viz app. It worked for me (I renewed 2 weeks ago).
I have the older version, "you are subscribed to the 12th" disappeared, and nothing shows up to renovate. Or does it shows up again on Monday again?
Yes. You can't renew before the next issue is up on the app. Same button as the Download / Read one.
I use Hola! to access the Viz website (among others) and never had any problems, nor do I pay for VPN. I don't know how safe it really is, but so far so good.
Haikyuu is dropping each issue lol looks like the readers are really impatient with the long first set, and i don't blame them.
If Spring Weapon doesn't get cancelled this round, change the name to "Jesus of Shonen Jump", because this manga just keep ressurecting over and over again =S
Then I'll chill. I hope is as you say. I changed my amazon account to spain, so I might have to change it back.

I think it was also suddenly switching to the Nekoma team that didn't help.
