So will Marakov make everyone an S-Class mage because of their BS successful efforts in fighting off Grimore Hearts? Will Cana at least talk to her father or vice versa? Will Laxus rejoin the guild now? What's going to happen with the members of Grimore Hearts we didn't see on the ship and how will they get off the island without transportation? Will they be arrested when Fairy Tail let the leader of Grimore Hearts just get up and fly away? What's going to happen to with Meredy and Ultear? What has Wendy crying in Charle's vision?
Ah, patience. These questions will be answered with as much shittiness as possible in the upcoming chapters of Fairy Tail.
I will say this about the chapter though. Hiro sure knows how to draw. Yeah…

What's going to happen with the members of Grimore Hearts we didn't see on the ship and how will they get off the island without transportation?
Urtear and Meredy will likely be dealt with in the near future, given that Urtear was mentioned so much in this chapter; Zancrow and Azuma are dead, Bluenote was sent flying so he's not even on the island any more, and Capricorn turned good. I doubt anyone cares too much about the fodder.

Well, the things predicted by Charle actually did happen. The scene with Cana crying is when she realises that it was wrong to only think about the exam, and the scene with Natsu crying was when he fought Gildarts. The hand from someone lying on the ground - well, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure at least one person was lying down with his/her arm stretched out at some point. And Zeref did appear in the arc. It was just weird that Charle's precognition wasn't about Grimoire Heart who was the main source of "sorrow" in the arc.
But the boy looking at the sea was truly stupid. Even if the flashback continues or if more is revealed about the boy, it was the most random place I've seen a foreshadowing scene being placed in a manga.

The predictions turned out to be kind of pointless, but this isn't the 1st time Charle had jumbled memories.

I think the hand might have been Lucy or 1 of the other women who were unconscious.
The 2nd one: It's just some random boy (Romeo?) from Fairy Tail who's 'carrying on the spirit of Fairy Tail', which was also kind of pointless.

So in other words, Hiro heavily foreshadowed some tragedy, only to use those scenes in a completely different way and have the only casualty be a guy from the enemy guild no one cares about.

Overall an okay chapter, I knew hiro would at least touch on zeref, but I didn’t expect him to be in the airship. I wonder what this Acnologia is, it must be something dangerous to bring an end to this age, look’s like well be seeing more zeref, since he will awaken next chap.
On the comic relief side gray the lovely jubia offered every part her to you for her punishment, I never knew that cat goes hard like that.
It would be nice if GM could come back in the near future with zeref being there new leader, I wouldn’t mind a Hades Vs Mikarov R2 is never too late to get stronger mik.
If hiro makes everyone who participated an S-Class, so should happy and Charlie, yeah sounds stupid, but if wasn’t for them stopping hade’s heart, I doubt he would have been defeated by FT.

I have nothing to say about this chapter. Nothing positive. Nothing negative. I have as much to say about this chapter as a background in Bleach.

Apparently lots of folks realy liked this chapter at the FT section you know where.
And it at least wasn't horrible. And somewhat in their defense, alot of people were realy dissapointed by Hades' defeat.

It was just sorta bland.
Next chapter however can be incredibly horrible, if Hiro goes the cliché route of "She never told him, because DATS FER DE GRADER GUD, DERP" and have Kana, who'se characte was raped to hell this arc and who got some actual screentime for like the first time since Phantom Lord (and even there she basicly just had cameos), and who was then shot down completely, NOT go up to Gildatz and spill it, I will fucking scream.
Because there is no cliché I hate as much as this. It just creates unnecessary conflict and missunderstanding where it could easily be resolved by a five minute discussion.

The only part I found good was the interaction with Laxus and the Raijin Tribe. That was fun to watch.

Only thing I got out of the chapter: never combine two "Xanadu" song titles together. Mashima doesn't deserve to touch that as an homage. (Oda, sure, but not Mashima)

Loved Gildartz making fun of Luxus getting expelled. -

Eh standard end of arc epilogue. Ho-hum. Killer spread with the other Fairy Tail members just hate THIS is their only contribution to the final fight. Bah
Seriously Hades THAT was your reason for betraying FT? "Oh theres bigger magic out there, so I'll turn evil to get it. Derp de doo" (Roll eyes) Whatever.
Outside of that, not much to complain of. Enjoyed the guild just messing around, especially the Rajinshuu hugging Laxas. So cute.
So Zeref awakened now…uh...k. I guess the island magic was suppressing his evil magic or something. I don't know. Well hes finally in the story now, so we'll see how "horrible" everyone make him out to be.

So Makarov lets the people who made an unprovoked attack on his guild with the intent to completely destroy it and its power source, and nearly killed dozens of its members including himself, leave unhindered…why exactly? Magical prison is good enough for Gerard, but not for Grimoire Heart?

Yea it was all shonencool (I made that word up) when it goes like “we gonna let these villains go cus we're the bigger men here" except anyone with half an ounce of brain (which doesn't apply to 80% of FT's readership I guess) would then ask themselves: "uhmm, we put Mashima's favorite bishi I mean Gerard into prison but apparently gonna spare these superbad dark guild villains who tried to revive Zeref, bring the apocalypse, and made personal attack on our guild at our holy land, because it was… personal?
Also, that panel where all the unimportant characters stood togather and did nothing, is it supposed to look badass?

Yet despite all that, this manga still sells. Nowhere near OP yet it sells. I swear there are two different, bi-polar manga reader groups in Japan.

If GH's leader had been anyone but Hades this would not have happened, but because he made some "profound" speeches to Makarov a few decades ago, he gets away scot free?

I'm sorry your post before this one came off as if you thought Makarov gave no reason whatsoever for letting Hades go. If you think its stupid for him to show Hades mercy then you would also have to extend that to literally everyone Makarov has spared(and in some cases let join the guild). So is every manga that is built up off of a bleeding heart who refuses to condemn anyone stupid now?

This is not one of those innumerable "Evil traitorous rival death-scene instant forgiveness" moments. It's not two former enemies meeting up after a being separated for a while and burying the hatchet either.
This is subduing a madman who crashed your party, mortally wounded you and had his gang beat your family to near death - and then letting him go because he happened to be your old math teacher.
This is Dispelief Stretching of the same level as when Byakuya was instantly transformed into a blameless adoring big brother. Or when Gazille joined. "Hey dude, it was so cool when you crucified three of our members and razed our guild! Wanna join?"
The most comparable moment to this scene I can think of is when Goku let Vegeta escape from earth, which was done purely for his own selfish reasons, and called out as bullshit by Krillin.
But yeah sure, for the record: I hate any scene, regardless of manga, where a hero forgives a defeated, iredeemable villain and lets him evade punishment on purpose. Why couldn't Makarov just have forgiven Hades…and sent him to jail?
