! Posted Gerard since he, or at least Mystogan appears. Classic Fairy Tail there though to be fair Mystogan was bound to show up sometime since he's been involved since the beginning.

I would even forget he was suposed to be in Edoras since nothing ever visualy confirmed it . God if the anime ever gets this far I hope they add some foreshadowing of their own for this

! His involvement with Lucy and Gazille should be doing the opposite. These are signs that Mystogan is involved with the events. This is actually better foreshadowed then some of the other times Gerard was brought back into an arc.

Anyway, maybe it's just me, but I kinda want to reread this whole arc just to get the full impact of it. Even though more exposition would be nice, I still think it's good for what it is. Especially once Gazille got involved again

I dunno if it's me, but I kinda liked the scnes where all the cats came together to help. Not the qeen though… I wish she fell for wasting my time... But it was nice seeing them buy time. If buying time for Mistgun was only revealed earlier. Speaking of Mistgun, I like(sarcasm) how he's seen a high mighty savior now.

Knightwalker has gone crazy now. I'm not sure if it's the final round though. There might be still something left.

Lame and uninspired until Pantherlily was shot. Still not expecting much from this arc, but maybe Edo Erza powered up with her new clothes or something, nah, i really can't see anything that would make this arc worthwile… same nullification process as the last 3 or 4 arcs...

This is a post from a guy from Narutofan and its actually good.

All the plot twists in this arc were so fucking random, it hurts. Would it have killed Mashima if he had at least hinted at the existence of that "prince" beforehand? Like Panther Lily or some other unhappy bloke in the king's army saying "if only the prince were still alive", or something like that. Same for Coco. First going happily along with the plan, not ever shown to have any attachment to her fellow comrades, suddenly making off with that key because in that exact moment we learn she has overwhelming love for her NAKAMA. Don't even get me started on the cats.

Also, Mashima seem to have the attention span of a 3-year-old. There we have the bizarro Fairy Tail guild with all those counterparts. Instead of including them in the story, he writes them all out as fast as possible and instead has the old Fairy Tail characters (Erza, Gray, Vegeta) and lets them do the job that should have been done by the bizarro Fairy Tail crew. I like Gazille, but this should have been mostly about the alternate Fairy Tail learning to clean up their own shit. They old crew didn't even add all that much. Erza vs. Erza happened off screen, Bizarro Gray could have done the same shit as normal gray, and Gazille being able to turn back lachryma was ultimately useless, since fucking Gerard did the job for him in the end. Why not hang on to a plot strand and try to develop it? How about developing the cat people some more (and draw them less retarded), maybe even show the queen before SURPRISE REVELATION, lay out hints about the truth behind things?

At the beginning of each arc, I see a glimpse of what could be a pretty good magical adventure romp, but somehow Mashima manages to always develop it in the most underwhelming way possible. Doesn't he at least have an editor who tells him to be less shitty?

I know I said I liked the chapter but I just can't wrap my head around how mistgun was able to teleport the lacryma, if he could of done that than the hell was the point of gazille being there? it's like aizen having gin opening up a gate to soul society. They could of done it at any given time yet when the time came it felt random.
