Hard Mode: No One Piece
! This is in no way an excuse to show everyone the video I just made using Windows Movie Maker and that I regretted doing so because there's already one very similar
Well, it is, but hey, it doesn't matter what's my cause, as long as I make a pretty cool subject of discussion.
Also, I'm regretting the previous thread I made so this is a way to make up for it
Which one is your favorite Anime/Manga scene, and why?
From Cowboy Bebop, episode 6:
XQnKdYPL2HY
! Everyone talks about the brilliant ending, and how Spike dies, and about the "Bang", etc, etc, but few guys actually bother to talk about a scene which is arguably as good as the ending, and that happens 21 episodes before.
It is the scene which made me start loving Cowboy Bebop, the scene that made me start feeling that there's something beyond episodic adventures, something that made me start feeling that this is truly as brilliant as everyone hypes it up to be.
Before actually explaining Spike's backstory, the studio dropped hints using short flashbacks, it started right before the intro of the first episode, and it also appeared in Episode 12, but the sixth episode (which was also one of the best episodes of Cowboy Bebop even not counting the flashback, btw) was the one with the most brilliant execution, the beautiful music, what seemed to be Spike's ending, the bittersweet flashbacks, the grenade exploding with the church, Vicious being thrown in, genius.
Some other cool moments:
Death Note:
! L's death
Baccano:
! When we first learn of the immortality with the hobo cutting Firo's finger
Black Lagoon:
! The two death scenes for the twins, pretty brutal
TTGL:
! The final battle at the weird dimension, and Kamina's death
I'm sure I'm forgetting some
