Few questions.. Which set does that largish nightmare luffy that looks so awesome come from (the one in the whirlwind) and where can I get it (if its still available)
Also how much are these tall glass cases people use for display, and the source?

That's the ichiban kuji Thriller Bark one. You can get it from yahoo auction japan or ebay. Prices on yahoo auction jumped for this figure recently.

Well, I don't need to collect every single FC set, but I'm definitely more likely to want them. I've always been a sucker for small, colorful things.
The only WCFs I really want are Rob Lucci (next year…zzzz), Bepo (next month?!), and...actually, probably all of the CP9 set when it comes out. Maybe Enel too, and if they ever have a Roger one. A friend is holding my Ace one for me <3 But I'm glad I don't have the urge to buy all of the rest of the sets, they're way too expensive for figures meant to be collected en masse. .-.

I don't know about any "worldwide version", but I do think I heard something about legit POPs that were licensed by Funimation not having stickers. They might have some other kind of sticker, though.
I haven't purchased any POPs recently so I'm not completely sure, maybe someone else will know better. My rule of thumb is to never buy unless I'm 100% certain it's legit, but if you think your seller is trustworthy you're probably okay. _

That's the 2nd ship (Memories of Merry part 2 version). They changed up the ship a tad for a more "realistic"/rugged feel. Already placed a bid for the complete set and ship, can't wait to get these.

I don't mind just having the Ace figure for a 3D-esque drawing (I call them psuedo-realistic ye), shipping is probably expensive anyway, though if you do have a few Ace/Lucci cards you don't need, I wouldn't be able to say no. xD A month is fine, I would need time to practice drawing new characters I haven't drawn before anyway, so just let me know how we'll go about it and what character/kind of drawing you want. Plus I'll be at my dorm in a month, and having stuff mailed there is way easier xD|

My Nami WFCs.
All 4 of them have different hair styles =) It's amazing.
I think I'm the only person who isn't satisfied with WFCs here.
They are good, but not for their price…
The quality and the head size is the exectly the same as mini big heads, only difference is that the body is bigger and the price is like 3 or even 4 times as much per figure.
Don't really plan on getting more (aside from the full shichibukai set).
It's sad that there's no more Nami's in upcoming sets so far though :(
I Don't know. That last nami looks pretty cute. If I was collecting her, I would be inclined to get her even for the higher price. That's from the point of view from someone who's never collected one deformed figure. I don't think every WCF is worth it. I think it does have some really awesome ones I see like Dofla, Nightmare Luffy and Oars. Just like I just passed on the white shirt zoro for the next one in stripes.
Actually, I'm really not fond of WCF too…Market prices are really too high for those, even if AnimeHA makes some really good deal with them during the sales. I'm sticking with the Anichara Heroes!
These are really cool. 9 piece puzzle sets, made of soft foam rubber. You can use them as play mats for kids. Each piece is 30m (12") square. It says ¥2000 on the ad but I've seen them for less.

i also experienced this from my country…. the store where i bought my P.O.Ps (which have stickers) now sells recent P.O.Ps (SW luffy, robin, usopp and chopper)... same explanation the store owner said to me "worldwide version"... eventhough i trust the store i did not buy the P.O.Ps cause you know the contentment seeing the sticker than not...

I don't know where this worldwide version comes from, but all I know is there was until recently only 3 official distributors:
So, there shouldn't be any worldwide version without sticker…next time, ask for the name of the distributor. With this, we should be able to fish out some pieces of information.

Yeah, it looks kind of bootleggy to me ): Notice how the feet seem to be bending up away from the stand…unless that's a problem the older POPs had, bendy plastic is usually a good indication of lower quality plastics they use for bootlegs. x:

You guys have pretty good eyes…I can't tell if that's bootleg or not definitely....the feet thing could just be the figure not pressed into the stand completely....IMO it seems too hard to tell from that picture but oh well.

Hmm yeah, maybe it is just poorly inserted. Personally I like making sure my figures are correctly inserted into their stands, since sometimes stands are designed to minimize warping and having the feet slanted might put pressure on parts of the figure that shouldn't be stressed…etc. D:

Sure (: You mean two separate portraits, then? That's fine. Lmk more details like if you want busts or full-body depictions, which two characters, etc. Busts mean I can pay more attention to the face and other details (yay) full-bodied pics usually mean more clothing, which is why I prefer drawing half naked guys since it's easier than folds of clothing LOL…notbeinglewd
