@Shammy:
thats a dumb argument.
Coming from you, thanks.
well besides first luffy was with ace way longer than sabo, but ignore that.
He's also older and more capable of dealing with such a thing then he would be if Sabo drops dead in a few chapters. It's all breakdownable to similar events.
what your saying is if you get super super sad and broken up when your dad dies, that when later sometime your mom dies you are supposed to take it like a man and not break down.
Yeah, that's exactly what I said. I also made a death threat to the president of Paraguay in there which I guess you missed.
Sharp as always Shammy.
Actually, I"m just saying Luffy is completely ripped in half over this, not simply sad. He's having a Gutts post-Eclipse moment. Not that you understand the reference.
and as said as well his last brother.
So you don't think Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Robin, and Brooke matter for this silly arbitrary new label you dongs are throwing around.
don't you see in movies when someones losing their family or friends one by one and gets super emotional when they lose their last one. not that that one was the most important, but because they are now alone
1. Those types of plots involve people falling into desperate and dark behavior, see Star Wars, V for Vendetta, etc. Unless you actually think Luffy is heading down that road.
2. He's not alone, not in any remote sense whatsoever. Even if you elect to forget that the Strawhat Pirates exist, he's still with a bunch of people who admire him and like him, including Jimbei who has clearly taken to watching after him.
3. There is absolutely no growing or established plot line of Luffy losing everything and being alone. It's utterly fantastical. As such Sabo being used as a part of this nonexistant thing is bullshit. If he's going to die that sure as shit will have nothing to do with it.
4. Since it has nothing to do with loneliness or whatever, the narrative seems to lean toward it being Luffy's first MAJOR loss of life in his life, therefore Sabod dying would be redundant.
But now that Ace is dead, Luffy has nobody causing the rage that he's in now.
Why are people using this argument? It's absolute nonsense.
You literally think Oda is completely bucking the entire Strawhat crew, a bond that is much dearer to the series and readership for only Ace and Sabo mattering. And no Luffy doesn't think they're dead or has given up on them. he's talked about going and finding them a bunch when he was on Amazon Lilly.
