Despite his long ass posts, he has some respect from me.

[hide]Shichibukai didn't become shichibukai by being the most powerful pirates. They are powerful and influential, but only to the point that the World Government is still strong enough to quell them and control them.
On Thriller Bark, Moria mentioned how Kaidou, a Yonkou in New World basically wiped out Moria's crew. Yonkou are much stronger than the Shichibukai, at least powerful enough to stand alone against the World Government and the other 3 Yonkou. The world government's resources are strained simply fighting against a single Yonkou - Whitebeard.
The Shichibukai are mostly active pirates on the current half of the Grand Line. They are no doubt powerful enough to sail into the New World, but definitely not at the level to stand on their own to rival Yonkou.
Remember, Ace was considered strong enough for Shichibukai. He is a mere division captain of a Yonkou in the new world. These division captains are perfectly capable of taking down vice admirals.
Luffy's crew, as with all the crews of the Supernovas that made it thus far in the Grand Line. Their captains all shown similar level power when fighting the Pacifista series. We can thus say, they are on par with Luffy. Luffy is without argument, at the level of Shichibukai, having narrowly defeating two.
Throughout the last few arcs, we are being told of the strength of the pirates that are in the New World, from Wano Country samurai, to the revelation of the Yonkou, to the fact that starting in New World requiring one to have Shichibukai level abilities.
While having a Shichibukai before going into the New World would be ridiculous considering how powerful they are in this half of the Grand Line, having one as a crew member in the New World would be very plausible.[/hide]

That puts the question of how the Sichibukai are ranked amongst themselves.

Jinbei would be a little on the strong side for the Strawhats. Him as a temporary member akin to Vivi seems more likely, as he is a responsible person and has a responsibility unlike Hancock. Jinbei brings to the crew power in water. He is a Fishman, making him the next unique member of a motley crew seem likely. His personality type does over lap Zoro's a bit.
Crocodile is too evil and world weary to be a fit for the Strawhats. He also has his own ambition in controlling and ruling more so than freedom. His sand power is also too powerful for the growth of Strawhats. He is a definite no.
Other potential members we've seen so far are either too one dimensional to compensate for their weakness. We already have Usopp who is 100% no frill guile and wits. Having another weak character who only stays alive through being versatile and being lucky would overlap with Usopp's role too much.

Sengoku himself has acknowledged her as strong. He has been shown to kick aside smoker. Its vague but she is pretty strong. I am not saying too strong to join strawhats but what you just said is just speculation.
