I agree with the 3D thing, we need 2D, it's what works and looks best on the system. And I can actually play it on emulator on the computer if it's 2D!

I'd like it to be like the Fullmetal Alchemist game on DS because it was a 2-D side scroller that had a decent storyline and you could play it as almost every character ^__^

I just want an arc based OP game(sorta like *Grand Adventure), and not one where it just has a bunch of chracters for fanservice. I could understand why people would like more characters, but it does not make sense to have them in there when thier movesets are not really in par to what they originally were in the anime series or manga.

That's why I'm pretty much bored with Unlimited games.

All I would want would be a 2-D fighter of sorts, maybe like a more fleshed out version of Jump! Ultimate Stars? Just with only One Piece characters obviously.

I don't understand why we have been so dry on OP games. OP is the biggest property in Japan right now, so why is it that it doesn't get games left and right like other series like Naruto? Ooooh, that's right, OP doesn't need that to make some money as it already makes more than enough, unlike Naruto. (ooohohohoho)

I'd either like a fighting game with almost everyone from the series (Hey it can be done with Dragon Ball, so why not here) or a 2D Unlimited game. It could be a topdown perspective like Zelda games ^^.

Well, just to clarify, the scan does say "Pirate Fighting Action" so I assume it'll be a fighting game.

Seeing as how we have next to nothing on the game though, we don't have much to work with.

The Naruto games barely make any money so I wouldn't use them as an example (they are easy to make so they make a lot).

Unlimited Adventure had pretty good sales but Unlimited Cruise's sales weren't anything to write home about (I never even got episode 2 because episode 1 was half a game but cost me more than UA) and Gear Spirit did terrible.

I personally hope that this will be like a sequel to the Wonderswan game released during Alabasta. It would be really useful for me, but I doubt it will happen.

Well, looking at how many One Piece games don't come west, if they are Next Gen you won't be able to get them. Sony doesn't let you import games to the EU, and Xbox 360 has a chance at being Region free but it could also be region coded. Wii games are all Region coded. So DS is the best for getting the games for non-japanese ..

We got both the latest One Piece Wii games over here in the UK but you could only order them online. It was odd as there is literally no market for them over here but I'm suprised this didn't happen in the US as well. I was also rather annoyed that I sold my Wii so couldn't play them

And they still sold more than UA did in the US XD

But yeah. Personally I'd love to see some sort of 'RPG' type game. Choose a few chars into your own custom crew, play the generic storyline. Battle online. Then you can actually feel accomplished by beating their lvl 10 Akainu with your lvl 100 Nami.

Or um. Either that or just update the rosters. Bring back Hina, add Hancock. Boot Kidd and Calgera etc.

The chosen person gets to have their name (or pen name if preferred) put into the end credits as a project member. Among the applicants, 100 of them will receive the game and a T-shirt.

Example:
1. Members: Nami / Robin / Hancock / Vivi
2. Crew name: All-Women Pirate Crew
3. Pirate crew consisting of only women. Awfully strong as men!

The most popular pirate crew out of all the applicants will be put into the game's main mode. The pirate crew that surprises/impresses the production committee will also appear. The pirate crew(s) that gets used will be announced in Weekly Shonen Jump and Monthly V Jump.

Yes, that's my through too. There's not much video games genre in which you can create your own team, Tactical RPG is one of them. Or maybe a Dungeon Crawler similar to Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

The part beside the One Piece screenshot is about them telling you that you can read Jump manga not only on a cell, but even on the PSP(R).

The part beside the Naruto screenshot is about them telling you that games can also be played too. Any of you remember the One Piece mobile games? They say you can play these kinds of games as much as you want. And there's stuff about getting special goodies as a present.

There. Removed Chars that either haven't done anything very important or were so long ago its just boring seeing them again. Kaku was removed simply because he was a minor villain in an arc that ended ages ago now.

Added Hina because pffft. She's Hina. Her and Sadi-Chan should fill the annoyingly low female headcount. And she's already got the moveset from Grand Battle to fall back on. I removed the likes of Paulie, Ohm etc because they were so long ago or are pretty minor anyways. If Mr. 1 and Tashigi actually DO something I'll add them again.

As for Alt forms. Do we REALLY need a Zoro alt form? I was tempted to put Miss All-Sunday alt form for Robin but dun see the point. Chopperman should exist only for the awesomeness of OHKOing Whitebeard with a Kyuuu Sparkle

in terms of alt forms, i didn't mean it that way for everyone, sorry. i meant as like a special. the only character it was an alt form was Luffy. so no zoro alt for because… there is none. Alt COSTUMES however is completely different. I would love a chopperman and miss all-sunday costume in, but the movesets would stay the same. Actually Afro may work as just a costume too seeing as he doesn't do anything different. But Nightmare would have to be a alt form or just entirely seperate character. but he ranks lower than most of the possibles anyway.

and i see what you mean about old characters probably not making it. kid and law are the only two you removed that i think may still have a chance. hina is good, but i dont think sadi chan would make it. i think jozu, inazuma, and maybe tashigi and bellamy's chances are better than hers

Wow… thankyou very much Cinder!! ^^ So..... apparently, there're going to be some new/original chara being able to be played at the game. I really hope this game is not like the previous one, but more like everyone has stated: a little bit RPG, action, tactic, and has a little bit story too ^^
