Sanji's German voice is good, I like it.

Many of the german voices are actually pretty good. They are nowhere near as good as the original but for german standards they are really good and actually fitting.
If possible some german Carue clips should be shared. This is the only time ever the original version disappointed me in comparison to the german dub. The german Carue is actually one of the things that got me hooked into One Piece no kidding. But please don´t let me elaborate on the why. 
in that second german clip it sounds like Nami says "Bullshit" in the beginning… I don't like Chopper's German voice but that's probably because I love the Japanese one so much

I can´t speak for other dubs, but they completely kept the original soundtrack. Though I still hope that they´ve messed around with Enel´s defeat because if the german dub isn´t changed over the original than Toei did a very poor job on that scene.

Okay I've watched the clip a few times and I kinda like Chopper's voice now. It's funny but I still prefer the original. Im glad they kept the noise that Chopper's feet make when he walks. I wish 4kids did =/

Ahh now I get which term you were talking about. I was only paying attention to the first sentense. The term you guys were talking about is the word "Bursche" which can be translated as "guy". Well ok I can understand how someone can misunderstand it for bullshit.

German Luffy sounds like an evil witch. His voice has the same effect on me as if someone were scratching a blacboard… >_<
Anyway, I like the Spanish dub best. Spanish Luffy actually sounds like a 17 year old male and the actor handles both the dramatic and comic scenes really well. Zoro's voice is not so deep as in the Japanese version, but the actor does the whole snobbish "I'm always trying to look cool" Zoro wonderfully. Nami has the cutest voice ever, nothing nasty, but always with a playful undertone. Robin is just too sexy for words... And I like how Chopper's voice actor uses different voices for the different forms (big beefy Chopper sounds like a young adult). And yes, Usopp (Usuff) has an Arabic accent, but it's tolerable (I admit it was kind of weird when they arrived in Alabasta and all the npcs suddenly talked like Usopp).

that was awesome thanks. Nice to know they keep the blood in the Spanish version. I actually like Luffys' voice too. It's not high pitched but it has that goofy tone to it. But I do think… the acting could be better.
Nami's VA is really good though, yes she does know how to cry.

Nothing much to say here. Exept that they took the vid of "We are" and made a new song for it. It is called "Die Legende" (the legend) and for a made up song it is not to shabby, still miles away of the original imho.
The second german opening. Basically an adaption of the 3rd JP Opening "Hikari e" (Yeah, I know they skipped Believe…. My favourite Opening..) It is called "Ins Licht" (into the Light). The dialogue at the beginnig is basically the narrator/Gold Roger one from the "We are" version, so no monologue.
German adaption of the 4th Opening "Bon Voyage". The name is "Übers Meer" (across the sea). The only thing I kinda dont like about this one is, that they took the Bon Voyage out and replaced it with "Über Meer" (see above).

Dang, you beat me to it. I was dowloading an episode just so I could capture the video to share it here. Well thanks actually, now I don´t have to do the work.
I don´t know about the rest of the guys here but I really love that song. Ok it is nowhere near the original song but for a german song it is very good. It´s catchy and it even is pirate-esque. And IMO it is even better then Hikari E.

Just a minor correction, it´s called "Übers Meer" which translates as "above the sea".
Episode 122 in German dub is on YouTube. Just type in "One Piece German" and you'll find the episode in three parts.
The voices are pretty good. I like Tashigi and Nico Robin's voices. Crocodile's is all right and Pell's is pretty good.

It seems you were translating it back to english. They may seem as puns (eg. Sunkist) but they were translated according to how they are pronounced in Japanese.

I was wondering, how is 4Kid$ going to do future episodes like when Ruffy and the gang come to Loguetown and we get to see all kinds of flashbacks of Gold Rogers execution and Buggy going Berserk on top of the highground when Ruffy is stuck. And like the time when they get to Whiskey Town, are they going to call it Pineapple juice town or something? (The drinking nun still makes me laugh my ass off)
Forgive me if this is late or someone else already answered it but, 4kids is halfway through Alabasta right now.
I don't remember the episodes back then too much but safe to say they didn't show Gol D. Roger getting stabbed. Buggy was still crazy and got shocked by lightning. And Whiskey Peak became Misty Peak. And the nuns were digitally recolored to normal looking women and of course the beer became juice.

Sweet! The Taiwanese dub is the closest to the original japanese version, they even left the openings & endings in japanese.
i'm watching the mexican OP-dub… the video is 4-kids, as for the audio:
-the names, attacks and other things (with the exception of the belli) are pronounced just like the japanese version... the character names stay the same (luffy is called ruffy, alvida is called arvida, sanji sounds more like sanGi cos of the pronounciaton of the letter J on spanish)... even zoro says his attacks on japanese!... the marine is called "la marina" (=the marines), going merry is called merry go, and belli are called "mora" (=berry!!!)... the dialog follows the video, so no special things for us on LA (i was informed that we were getting a so-called "toei-edit", like dragonball Z, which was shown completely here... we got 4-kids edit. ack.)
-VA: the VAs are between nasty (zoro and sanji), nice (luffy, usopp) and awesome (nami)... i have the sound of the first chapter on mp3, i can record another eps, but i have nowhere to upload them... it was translated by candiani translations, the ones that also translated hajime no ippo, which was awesome BTW
-where are we?: it's on arlong park now. because of the time OP is shown and my lack of attention to it (mainly cos of the edits that make me very angry) i'm not watching it...

News from Germany:
One Piece switched broadcaster. Since the 3rd of July One piece airs on Tele5 Weekdays from 5pm-6pm, 2 Episodes to be exact. Tele5 will air the first (german) Season containing the first 140 Episodes. And not only that, they seem to air it Uncut ( right now reached the episode 14, containing all the scenes that RTL2 censored^^ Mostly Scenes containing blood ).
Note:Its absolutely the first time that one can see the german dub version uncensored. Man, seriously I am hyped to see the Arlong Arc now :)
