So I finally start some campaigning for Richie, althoug it's really bad timing because of exams.
@Urouge: I had a Richie viking video in mind, mixing the intro of Vicky Viking and Richie's short story, but because I lack time and skills it might becom too hard. If you are interested in making videos (and you've made some great videos) and if you want to support Richie, I would be glad to see a video clip made by you.

Say what now? You're not giving me much advanced notice for this idea. Also, use PM's in the future, please.

Be honest - As the chapters come out and the tournament continues - Buggy and Bon Kurai might move into the top here… I wonder if any of them will be able to take out a Strawhat.... >_>

Depends which one…

After today's fight I'm pretty sure Bon Clay will be able to take out most Strawhats if their name is not Luffy, Sanji or Franky...Usopp and Brook are also a hard case...

Croc might do the same...

Buggy is more unlikely, he is not as popular as the other two...

I don't know how long Bon-chan can ride off of his 'death' thing though. It might last him to the end of the tournament, but if Whitebeard does something totally awesome next chapter and he turns out to be Bon-chan's oppenent…well then it might not.

Buggy might do better than you think. He's in the manga right now about to face down Whitebeard's armada and scores of marines with his loyal followers while all Strawhats other than Luffy are left behind on cover stories. If there ever was a year for a non-Strawhat to take it, it would be this year.

My comment…
As statistic will grow the numbers themselves will begin to show clearer image but even so even after round 2 we can draw some conclusions. Here are 4 of mine:

1.
Its becoming obvious that the top five are the likely candidates to win this tournament but nothing new there and ofcourse not all second round matches are up yet..

2.
I think at the bottom it displays well which character were not ready for round 2…

3.
Round 2 isnt enough to display the true picture, but its loads closer. Example Jango got lucky with his matches, I doubt he is that popular…

4.
Although some of the characters who ll be getting to round two and are at the bottom of the list are there for a reason and imo wont make it to 4 unless they get extremely lucky…there are few so called X factors which I am glad people have left in the game because they can make things interesting.
I am talking for instance about WB who even though has bearly make it to round 3 may get a huge boost because of the manga chapters coming our way...

Different opponents, different number of voters - early battles on round 1 had less than 300 votes. Too many variables to bother with.

Is it a program dedicated to putting in a bunch of words, and randomly selecting a word? Or does it randomly select two, thus making the match-up?

A random generator outputs a random table of numbers. In some programming languages like pascal, it takes the numbers from a preset table and applies an algorithm to them. In other programming languages it will use an algorithm based on clock time (milliseconds), usually in conjunction with a preset table.

For pairing names, it probably just assigns a number to each person and creates pairs for all of the numbers.

Well taking out a SH will be hard but who knows. Maybe but in the next year they would lose again cuz I doubt they will get big spotlight in the future. Maybe Buggy but not as fast after his.

That's a pretty cool one, I like it mostly. I think it loses something with how he colored the light rays, though. I certainly don't mean any offense, because it's far better than I could ever do.

I love that panel, it just makes me smile every time I see it. My thoughts on SH Killer contenders would be Croc, Bon, Buggy, Smoker, and Blackbeard.

Yeah, Croc, Bon, Buggy, Smoker, and Blackbeard are pretty much the non-Strawhats with a chance this time. Personally, I'm rooting for Croc big time. But, that's not suprising. Smoker, too. As I've said before, we must have Croc vs. Smoker as the final match!

It's not looking good for Krieg. I'm glad I got that amv of him done before he was punked out of this thing. It's too bad I never came up with a good one for Gin, though.

Eh - I'm not that big of a fan of Croc… I liked Bon back on the Alabasta arc, but he wasn't as 'epic' then as he was now. He played a HUGE part in this last story.. and Buggy, though his time was shorter in ID, something huge will happen on his end.. good or bad...

...considering his luck though, he's starting to push it. He's know for his bad luck... he has gotten a significant influx of good luck since ID - Such as escaping ID successfully, using his past to his advantage, getting Luffy's arm band. Something REALLY bad will happen to him once they make it to the war.. and it's going to either work in his favor, or completely destroy his momentum.

And he'll become completely and fully popular because of it. If this 'scene' were to act out before his next few matches, he could easily get the votes needed to win. :)
