Completing Jiminy's stupid journal has driven me insane!:wacko: That secret ending better be worthwhile! If I've known that it would be easier on Proud mode…..
On the other hand. All that running around has leveled me up from my level on the last stage of the game(55) to my current level (85) and I have managed to max out all my drives and summons and I aquired all three ultimate weapons so it's not all bad.
Anyway, I need help on this matter. I've been trying to complete a mission in the hercules tournament. I need to finish with 3,000 points or more in the Goddesses of fate cup. So far the best I've gotten is 2,555. My strategy was using Stich's Ukule limit to make the enemies drop orbs. It works, but it's not enough. Anyone out there has a better method?

You would want to pack some elixirs and Reflega to fight Sephiroth, and Retaliating Slash is a must.

This is a great method to level up your forms. It's what I used to max them out. It was written by Kensee in the Gotwoot forums.
Don't know if it's really spoiler, but just in case, I'll put a spoiler tag since it talks about the last level:
! Wisdom form (1 exp per heartless killed):
! Go to the first save point in the world that never was. Save with a full drive bar (if you dont have one, go to hurcules place, enter any torunnmaent, then quit, you will have a full lifebar). Now go into the next room, immediatley go wisdom form, kill all the weak heartless and go back to the save point before your drive finishes. At the save point, immedietley warp to world map, and then go back to that save point. YOU STILL HAVE A FULL DRIVE GAUGE! YAY! Do it again until maxed out wisdom form. Normal Sora gets the ability to do lv 3 dash (really sexy looking) when this is maxed. Its like the KH2 version of dodge roll.
! Valor Form (1 exp per swing of keyblade that connect and do damage):
! Yenno what, I pretty much did what I did for Wisdom form for valor form. You can kill the heartless in that room in 1 or 2 swings, and They dont stop comming! You will run out of drive before they stop comming so its all gravy, just keep killing. Normal Sora gets a very high normal jump when this form is maxed.
! Master Form (1 exp per small drive ball collected, 3 exp for every large drive recovery ball):
! This may seem difficult at first, theres acutlaly a lot of good places. An easy one is Agrabah. Warp back to Agrabah, run into the cave of wonders until you hit the first save point. Save then warp out to the world, now you have acees to that save point from the world map, teleport back in when you have a full drive gauge, go to the room you just entered from and kill the two big crimson spell guys. Each drop about 2 big orbs. (Have Jackpot and Draw abilities on to maximize collecting). IT will be slow at first, you'll only have enough drive to kill those two and a few more, but once u hit lv 4 - 6, you can literally clear out the ENTIRE ROOM and still have time to get back. Before drive guage ends, head back and warp out, then repeat. At max level, this allows Sora to do ariel dodge (a double jump) that allowss him to dodge well in the air in a way.
! Final Form (1 exp per Nobody killed):
! Best place i found to do this was after you get to the final gate of the game. Save, now Jimminy will unlock the jounral and you can warp to the rooms where the Organization 13 graveyeard is (where you fought the last two members, before Xemeus). When you start leveling up, you'll get two DRIVE FORM abilities from FINAL FORM which substantially increases the duration of your final form. Now when you can, before going into the portal, go south to the small room where (spoilers excluded) two of your freinds were fighting some heartless. GO kill the 4 assassins, and 2 sniper nobies there, rush back to the room with the save point, head into lower left portal .. spam thundaga on the mobs and kill them. If you can handle more.. go to the top right warp portal and continue to kill the dusk, and if u have time, the berseker nobdies (thundaga is your best friend here). Run back before your drive guage ends. At lv 5 and 6 final form, i was able to kill about 23 nobodies per run, which is a great pace and helps you level up fast. MAx level final form allows Normal Sora do float while in midair … now at max level ... Sora can float FOUR TIMES FASTER than he can run!!!!!

You should level up a bit more. I was in level 86 when I started fighting him and it still took me a few tries before I beat him.:laugh:

I finally beat Sephiroth.
All I got to do now is Poster Duty in under 30 seconds. Level Up my Summons. Most of the Underdrome Tournys. All the Winnie the Pooh games. One more Little Mermaid song. Complete Synthesis and I have completed the Journal on Standred Mode.
Then I have to fight the final boss.
EDIT: Scratch that. I only have my Summons, the Undrome Tournys, Synthesis, and Winnie the Pooh and I finish the Journal.

EXP: For each connecting hit that produces damage
Max Level: 3 (until you get Master), 5 (until you get Final), 7
! My choice: Outside and inside the Mysterious Tower. Since I had Final Form, it was a good spot to go back and forth (and to avoid Anti-form by using Brave too much, so I'd switch to Final sometimes and it works nicely). I make sure I set Donald and Goofy to "Leave it to Sora (not sure what it is in ENG)", leave the save point, go outside, finish up there, go back in, and work my way up the stairs until I have less than 1 on my Drive Gauge, then I go to world map and reset the Gauge so it goes back to max.
! Wisdom Form
EXP: For each Heartless defeated
Max Level: Same as Brave/Valor
! My choice: Timeless River. Not having Donald or Goofy to do anything is the strategy again. I head to Mickey's House and spam Thundaga and go to other places if I have enough time. Use the door and the Gauge will go back to Max.
! Master Form
EXP: For each Drive Gauge ball gained
Max Level: 5 (until you get Final), 7
! My choice: Past the village in The Land of Dragons where the firecrackers are (forgot what it was called). There are two stashes of firecrackers, I'd take the one furthest from the village and closest to the next screen. One press of the button will launch them and reveal a lot of balls. Go to the next screen, come right back, and do again.
! Final Form
EXP: For each Nobody defeated
Max Level: 7

I can help you on the summons part.. it's not based on how many enemies that are defeated. Just let the drive gauge deplete; each level that goes down is +1 EXP. Use the Save Point/Timeless River door trick to restore the Drive Gauge to Max easily.

Mysterious Tower? Is that where Sid was? Can you even go back there once you get new clothes and leave?

For the solo cups where you can use summons, just use Stitch repeatedly. It's boring, but you will get your objective. Especially since at later levels you can use him twice a round and the drive form recharges. Remember to rotate the camera so the most enemies are getting hit.
For all the Underdome Cups, my advice would be to leave it and come back at a higher level. At level 99 I replayed the first few cups for kicks using exculsively the magnet spell and achieved the Jiminy Objective.
BTW, the magnet spell is a godsend late in the game if you're just rushing through worlds item hunting or form leveling.

The secret ending is….how can I say this without spoilers....
WITHOUT SPOILER I can safely say it is along the same lines as the secret ending from 1. And don't worry, I'm talking about general theme, not what happens, who/what shows up. That's all.
And that said, I hope it doesn't suck as much as this game.
While the fighting system is GREAT and a LOT of fun to play the story is just a giant jumbled mess. The game totally alienates players who missed CoM and don't tell me a few entries in Jiminy's journal fixes that. I don't understand a thing about the Organization or their motivations, let alone their personal goals. The "This person is really this person!" is as annoying in this as it was in FF7 and just as tired. The Disney stories are suicide inducing. Honestly. And as if that weren't enough, the cut scenes are SO SLOW. Did this annoy anyone else? I know I'm highly opinionated but how come EVERY time someone addressed Sora, they didn't just say "Sora", it was, "Sora! pause Donald! pause Goofy!", and always in that order. Not to mention scenes of people just walking from place to place. I'm not anti-Disney or anything because I grew up watching a number of those films in theaters with my best friend, but they just move SO SLOWLY.
And end boss...I dunno, just not nearly as satisfying or interesting. I know that might just be me, but it felt a whole lot less epic fighting....well....what it is you fight. Not to mention the incredibly unsatisfying ending.
Speaking of which....Riku and Sora....woah....Methinks the original title of this game was Brokeback Hearts. Honestly. "Not that there's anything wrong with that."
Kickass fighting system, sad sequel to a really unique game.

I agree, I was very lost especially in the beginning. I remember reading somewhere that people who didn't play COM won't feel left out, but that's just not true. It really made things confusing but… and well this is just if you're up to it:

! when Ansem turned out not to be ansem, I was pissed as hell. Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics pulled this BS move so many times that I just want to scream whenever it happens. But … I have to hand it to Disney and Square for doing a somewhat job of cleaning it up. At least it was explained HOW Xanohart became Ansem and such... but still, I agree, this was EXTREMELY annoying to find out.

That's why I am estatic that you can skip scenes, or else I wouldn't ever start a new game. I wouldn't be able to sit though the beginning again… funny though... I bet if youy went back in time and told someone back in like 2000 that Mickey Mouse and Cloud would be in a game together XD
The final boss was hard I thought... he pwned me like four times. I thought that was fine... I didn' treally have any complaints about it. I was glad it was actually tough and not easy like in KH1.

I really wanted to watch that file cause I stopped playing CoM after your first fight with Larxene. But filefront is super slow on all the servers it has for that file so screw that.

yeah i think I had to wait overnight for it to finish… it depends on how patient you are... I did find a ... sorta fast one at like 20kb/sec XD

Theres really no reason it should be 640mb, its pixel art.
The actual CoM rom is only 15mb and its the entire game with the cutscenes.
The dude who made this video must have been very sloppy.
