Satisfied with what I read and I'm kinda happy that this won't have a "everybody's back to normal ending" when this arc ends.
Katekyo Hitman REBORN! Discussion

Tsuna's team still has one open spot left; Hibari will probably wind up filling that.
Even then you still have XanXus, Byakuran and Mukuro.
-
it was more likely to be not the winning team but when 7 people were left they were made winners. Your not getting the 7 strongest if ryohei is there instead of xanxus

I thought it was like this as well, he's using the battle to scope them out.
Although, he could of just used all 7 boss watch owners and called it a day.

I think he's looking for a more balanced set than that. Pretty sure they have to be somewhat attuned to specific elements. If they did all the bosses, you'd have Sky X 4, Cloud, Mist, and Gravity. Would be a little unbalanced.

Chapter out
Bermuda sounded really gay for Reborn this chapter
-
Daw… that's nice tsuna don't want reborn to die..... except he's going to die anyways or turn into a bizarre zombie along with everyone else I see no reason why this deal should not be taken except that tsunas a bitch who doesn't understand basic logic, there going to die either way, this way no one else turns into babies or zombies, or dies
of course that's from the info we have now, somehow there will be some magical way to save them all and stop without anyone dying cause it's a shonen manga that doesn't take risks like hunter x hunter (well 99% of them are this way too)
-
Good chapter.
The Vindice/mafia connection made sense. Nice to see Tsuna stick up for Reborn but I wish he looked confident doing it. -

The one who doesn't get something is you. Tsuna said he wanted to find a different way to solve things, so everything can be made right and this doesn't continue happening, without the current Arcabaleno dieing.

if your taking this from the standpoint of a character in the manga who doesn't understand there in a manga series where the good guys will always win and there will always be some alternative other then death, saying I'll find a new way to a guy who knows the curse better then anyone may have been around for hundreds of years and seems to know more about the arcebleno, all the elements, and everything else about the reborn world just seems kind of stupid
of course there is an alternative that they'll find but right now it's completely ridiculous comment based solely on emotion rather then very simple logical thought

This. All of this.
I really hope it doesn't come down to:
"Let's defeat Checker Face!"
"Oh no! I'm defeated!"
"Hurf Durf the curse is released!"

I don't think it's ridiculkous, though. He's just saying he'll definitely find a way without sacrificing his friends, even if he doesn't know it, he's sure he can find one. Seems pretty typicaly shonen hero to me and it's nice to see Tsuna have some confidence outside of dieing will mode.
It has nothing with him not understanding the logic, rather he's ignoring it to protect people.
-
The solution is simple. Checkerface has repeatedly said that two Arcobaleno must never fight in their infant form because two pacifiers breaking would cause something disastrous to happen. But what if that's really not the case? What if it just nullifies the effect of the pacifiers? 8 pacifiers, 8 elements, so they're bound to be able to shatter each other. They've said the treasures are not supposed to be destroyed, but what would Tsuna and Reborn care about that? Or any of the people, for that matter?
-

"Let's defeat Checker Face!"

"Hurf Durf the curse is released!"
This is quite likely to happen. Because Reborn is just that bad.
-
I actually like this spinoff.
I](http://www.mangahere.com/manga/vongola_gp/c001/)t's like Kart Rider mixed with Reborn. Odd mix, but it works.
-
New chap out at mangareader.
Its okay, I guess. This isnt a manga were I can expect some inventive plan, so I cant get excited. Prob some power up will happen.
-
Didn't like the end of the chapter. That recap of last chapter could've taken only one page.
The way things are setup the ending will make or break this arc, maybe the entire series. And that comes down to how or if the Arcobaleno curse is broken and how good a villain Checkerface is. We really don't know who or what he is or what he can do. If the author can make him Crocodile level awesome in terms of brains and brawn this could be the best arc in Reborn.

I would enjoy it more, if there actually isn't a way out and Tsuna has to man up about it. And by enjoy, I mean, I'd cry manly tears.
Reborn: "Watch closely Tsuna, this is… Your final lesson. Ciao"
-
New chapter is out. Tsuna being proactive!?
-
-
Holy crap. Never thought I'd see the day.
Seriously.
-
I'm starting to this this must be the final arc. How do you top that?!
-
Tsuna with a plan.
Any ideas?
-
My problem with proactive Tsuna, while nice, is that the manga didn't earn this scene. It comes off as shoddy writing seeing as up to his last fight, he was still a bumbling idiot who needed to have his hand held by Reborn all the time. Now all of a sudden, he gets a flash of inspiration (via the most stupid of contrived manner as well, fruit juice?) that can change everything when Reborn and all the Arcobaleno couldn't figure out an alternative? Without any sort of substantial character development that was needed over the years to make this work, this twist just falls flat on its face for me.
-
Oh yeah and it's nice to see Amano remembered Lambo this is like the first time we have seen him is a 100 chapters lol (chapter amount is exaggerated of course)

No he didn't, Tsuna was fighting badly because he wanted to protect his boss watch. Once Reborn told him to stop caring about it, Tsuna strangely applied the laws of physics just to punch that one Vindice in the face. (Yet he somehow gets a zero in a math test)
I never did like it when a younger protagonist figures out a century long problem in a simple way when some adults been researching it for their entire lives.
That makes no sense.

I was talking about the fight with his dad.

Pretty much the worst fight in the series next to Yamamoto and the Wall of truth.
-
We've been told that Tsuna has hyper intuition.
"Who could that man with an oddly familiar hairstyle and pet chameleon be? It's a mystery!"
-

And it was a stupid scene… I miss the time when he was awesome.
-
Tsuna's epiphany reminded me of every episode of House, when in the last 10 minutes of the show House has a random ass conversation with Wilson, a Stripper, or whoever happens to be in his path and then comes up with a reason for why his patient nearly died 20 times in 2 days. I like Lambo, it was so weird to see him just there and Tsuna not really comment on it or than the juice thing.
-
Man, our standards for this series is so low its sad.
Least we got to see Lambo. He looked spaced out. Glad the plot is going somewhere. If we can't have a Big Bad VS Big Bad then I'll settle for a Big Bad team up.

I see you Tsuna.

Uuuh. I'm not really sure how I feel about this chapter. That bit with the girls seemed a bit pointless to me.
Something I haven't really thought of too much until they brought back that old man. I thought the Vongola were Italian. Why are so many associates Japanese?

Didn't someone from the vongola marry a japanese woman or something like that?
The ending of this chapter was "d'aww".

Amano should have just made them all Yakuza and it would have been less confusing.

After retiring, Giotto changed his named to Ieyasu Sawada and moved to Japan. Plus, one of the original guardians (the rain one), Asari Ugetsu, was Japanese.
Chapter was fine. The part with the girls could have been elsewhere, but I suppose it was necessary to reinforce supportive female roles in the series (but where the heck is Haru or the other girl whose name I can't recall). Filling the empty pacifiers back up with flames seems like a plausible solution, but it's going to take a lot of flame. Still not sure why Tsuna went to Enma in the previous chapter, then. Also, this would mean that Tsuna will be saving Yuni, Gokudera will be saving Fon, Chrome or Mukuro will be saving Mammon, Lambo will be saving Verde, Hibari will be saving Skull (Right…), Yamamoto will be saving Colonello and/or Lal, and Ryohei will be saving Reborn. At best it should at least destroy their rings. At worst it'll kill them, instead.

Ah okay. Thanks for clearing that up. >_>…Really should have just made this story about the Yakuza. They don't even really have anything happen in Italy. Also it was my understanding that mobsters didn't generally like to mix nationalities lol.
Well each group has a rep for the particular type of flame right? They would probably each have to give some as to not just die from giving too much flame I'd guess.
-
i think that is the first time Tsuna has talked down to Reborn. good for you tsuna, good for you.
-
Who's this kid with Tsuna's face?
-
Who's this kid with Tsuna's face?
Some cameo character with the same name. Don't worry, he only shows up once or twice per 50 chapters and then disappears again.
I really wish Amano would keep him though.
-
http://www.mangahere.com/manga/katekyo_hitman_reborn/v39/c391/ How many chapters has it been since I got this excited? O-o
-
Wow haru and Ipin after 100 or so chapters she does remember them.
This is starting to get suspensefull
-
Poor Longchamp, he will be forgotten forever.
-
It was pretty good chapter.
-
Wow I guess we can finally say Tsuna's doing things….......LIKE A BOSS.
-
Poor Longchamp, he will be forgotten forever.
Well.. yeah.. his family can't contribute in anyway… all they have is the "Sorrowful" bullet...
A lot of good that would do.
Perhaps in this battle we'll see 50 year lambo.
-
It's sorta disappointing the potential this manga has when Tsuna is like this!
Makes you wish he was here all the time. -
Tsuna becomes the only mafia boss in the world with a 0 in math.
-
Poor Longchamp, he will be forgotten forever.
Longchamp is checker face :ninja:
Jokes aside this feels like the manga is heading to an ending.
