Uh oh, everyone that's been shown kneeling with crossed blades at their throat thus far have bit it.
As I said in the spoiler thread, best colorspread since the underwater one. The art style has changed quite a bit since those early days. Zoro's head was more ovoid, Nami actually had realistic proportions, Usopp looked a lot more fuglier, Sanji's neck wasn't so thick, Chopper looked more doggish, and Robin's features were more defined.
It's still kind of hard to tell, but Hancock looks like she has a more normal height than most of the other Shichibukai. Kind of odd that there's no bounty in her info box.
I heard that there was supposed to be results from a popularity poll. What happened to that?

Quite a bit going on this time around: Marguarite really doesn't want to work with Luffy after all, Boa Hancock is beautiful, a Shichibukai and really is more or less a Medusa reference (two freaky sisters alongside herself, turning men into stone) and Momonga from the Buster Call returns! (interesting how he stabbed himself to stop the stone attack from affecting him) Though the weirdest surprise: the Usopp Pirates on the color page! (one part because they weren't literally next to Usopp in his intro, one part in that it's the first "non-Vivi" non-Straw Hat to appear in a long time…and one part in that it should have been Kiwi and Mozu there :p)

I know the Usopp Pirates broke up but I'm just shocked they were there with Usopp on the page (when Usopp pretty much was on his own when introduced and those three appeared later in the chapter) and that we really haven't had too many non-SH with color pages. (I know there were the first with the Shanks pirates, some with Buggy early on, one around the first anniversary that was Baratie-influenced and the battle ones with both BW and CP9…and of course Vivi)

Here's to hoping his character design and screentime is good. Since it has a 10 year build up. Does anything else have that outside the stories end and the Mihawk VS Zoro final battle? Maybe Shanks getting the hat back from Luffy. idk.

he will probably be shown during the whitebeard battle or the fishman island arc. i'm guessing the whitebeard battle since it will be the strongest human in the world vs the strongest fishman in the world battling it out.

After reading this chapter again it looks to me that Boa is one of those "Beauty is a curse but it's still useful" types. She didn't seem that arrogant when she said everything she does can be forgiven due to her beauty. She seemed to have stated it like it was fact. Now I'm not saying the statement itself wasn't arrogant but the way she looked didn't seem like she was.
Of course I've been wrong on numerous occasions so take this with a grain of salt.
Going with the flow and on some occasions against it.

Finally. Some totally awesome females in story. I was getting a bit tired of the occasional penis festivals. I'm begining to like this arc more than the Shanbondy.
I think Boa's sisters look pretty. I wonder if that one with the tounge is that girl's (who was taking notes) mother.
