What do you guys all think about the lack of fan service lately ?
I've noticed the series has drifted away from it & I think the author was using much more fanservice at the start to attract more viewers, although now that Soul Eater has become, while certainly not mainstream, it has definately gained wide exposure, I think the author knew the series could stand tall without it.
Even if Soul crashing into a giant pumkin, wherein a well-endowed human able-to-turn-into-a-cat [or I should probably say vice versa] just happened to be naked & bathing was pure comic relief !
Do you guys think it was a good idea to cut it down or do you all want it back ?
To me the lesser usage of fanservice is ok since I didn't matter for it to begin with. As long as the story is good and the characters are intersting it's all what I need. But if it comes back in that amount it appeared in the beginning then it wouldn't bother me either.^^
I don't mind the lack of fanservice. And actually, I'm glad I don't have to see frames with Maka's panty shots.

I don't really see a lack of fan service just a lack of oppurtunities for fan service. Soul Eater places fan service in comedic scenes where as of now there aren't any. Back when Asura was first released we had that fight between Blair and Mizune which had heavy fanservice.
Once we get into to lighter tones the fan service will continue.
Check pages 10 and 11 of chapter 56. ;)

! Medusa is a bitch… but looks good with black hair. The deathscythe that appeared was weird and didn't really get enough time to for me to form a decent opinion of what to think of him.

this manga couldnt hold me after the first 5 chapters..was always told to be not bad but i rly cant see here anything that special which could lead me to go with this series…sad:sad:

i don`t like the art work(thats nothing rly a matter which says much but still)
