Going by Cartoon Network's schedule, Samurai Jack stops airing on Toonami after today, or at least it's not airing next week. Don't know if this has anything to do with this supposed "announcement", but I figured that it's worth mentioning.

I love how CN is airing all these Movies like the Dinosaurs ripping flesh in Jurassic park 3 which im sure there was blood so its kinda amusing how CN can censor anime yet put such a graphic movie on

Well, I guess it doesn't really matter if One Piece comes back now. When I thought of a big announcement, though, I was kinda expecting something, you know, good? Eh, I don't even watch Toonami anyway, except when One Piece was on, so this basically just shows to me that One Piece won't be on CN anymore at all, though by now that was obvious.

Shippuden hasn't been picked up by CN yet, they're taking a "wait and see" approach so nothing's set there. Naruto should run to the end at least though.
Why shouldn't they cancel Toonami, I mean it was just Naruto filler and Samurai Jack and Ben 10 reruns now anyway.

Um, the DVDs are still in the part of the Naruto-anime that I aknowledge the existence of. The non-existent sequel known as Shippuuden won't be out on DVD for a long time yet.

sailor moon was one of the first anime shows i've seen in my younger years.

Seeing Toonami the way it's been the last year or two (Tom's new look, the puny Saturday timeslot, etc.) it's kind of been like watching an animal die of starvation. So, I'm glad they're finally putting it out of its misery. Still, I have many fond memories of Toonami, and I wish they could have revived it somehow.

Well, it's official now…poor Toonami. I will miss it, even though it became a shell of its former shelf when it became two hours long and got that crappy make-over, I always held onto some hope that they'd just up and change it back. Of course, that wouldn't happen. But I will miss it...I'll remember the shows that I fell in love with and the times I was always so excited to come home and see the good old Toonami...:cwy:
