Honestly, One Piece is probably one of the most exciting and awesome things since the Star Wars (the originals unedited of course !) and Metal Gear Solid franchise.

Like these franchises, It does not revolutionize the genre but it takes the best from many sources and create a new entity.

Good point. But it did ruin the series for people who wanted to watch it. There are probably people who gave up on One Piece because of 4kids. Yea. The thing that I found in the OP fandom that I didnt find in other anime fandoms is the fact that people really care about the emotion and the drama, and consider it to be one of the main things OP needs. As for other Anime's people dont exactly care but for OP people just go crazy about the emotion instead of the fights or the jokes. It's actually a good thing, but people may think that OP fans are "fags" or something like that because everyone else believes that OP is a full on comedy series, which it kind of is but at the same time it's not. (I know this didnt fully relate to your post and Im sorry about that…..)

How the hell is chakra creative; its a direct rip off from hindu/indian mythology. And that f*ckin kishi didnt even reference that fact, He is using a mythological term without even acknowledging of where he got the term chakra. Hell, I bet because of this, some will think chakra is an east asian term which it is not.

LOL That statement is so stupid its not even funny. How the hell is naruto more intelligent than one piece. One Piece is about an epic adventure whereas naruto is about one homo (naruto) chasing after an even bigger homo (sasuke). Naruto is more of a yaoi than really a shounen story.

1. One Piece has good character development, naruto has little to none. All the attention was put on those two homo's; many other good characters were not developed as a result.
2. Luffy is a better main character than that gayass naruto ever was. Seriously, of all the character to make a main character, they had to use that homo Naruto. I have strongly believe that this manga would have been significantly better had someone like Itachi been the main character
3. One Piece is far more funnier than naruto; in Naruto kishi expects people to laugh at armadillo penis. Only sad individual would laugh at something like that
4. One Piece has far less plot holes than Naruto and is far more consistent plotwise than naruto.
5. Oda is very organized, everything flows nicely with his plot and he knows how to make a solid story. Oda knows how to change up his style without fckin up the plot like naruto and Oda's Consistency can attest to that fact. Compare that to Fckin kishi [edit] who is all over the place when it comes to plot consistency

I respect that if nothing else, we are members of AP. We fight, we hate, we spit. But we are AP posters and no amount of jawdropping tori posts, baffling terek posts, and vapid usopp posts can ever change that.

Ok. I'll try to look at it from an unbiased point of view. Naruto isn't very deep compared to One Piece. Naruto often tries too hard to be deep, which doesn't come off as deep, just as "wow, Kishimoto's trying too hard".

Problem with Naruto character development is, they don't get any until they come directly into the plot. Characters like Ten-Ten never get any because Kishi doesn't use her in any part of the story. Were left in some weird gray area on Hinata and Naruto because he didn't bring it back into the plot, we don't know where they stand and haven't since the Pain Arc.

Where as with One Piece, we get a shit load of development, and every little thing plays importance, which makes you appreciate and look for the small things, because chances are some one-off line will end up as one of the most important things.

Why are we even discussing this?
