i just prefer the anime though. It'd be easier to argue with u guys but I just prefer the anime over the manga too much. When i first read the first three volumes, and u can call me crazy but, I really didn't enjoy them as much as when I watched the anime.

I'm sorry but u were directly attacking the anime, and saying that filler isn't OP. However, I'm saying that it fits into the story and that I consider it OP. The post I was replying to u weren't talking about the manga at all so i jumped in. If we're attacking the anime then I can come in but then when u talk about the manga i cant. I understand that. We arent directly talking about the manga so I don't see how I can't join in. The only other OP manga ive read are a few chapters of episodes every once in a while just to see what the manga looked like, and I read the May, June and July American shounen jump magazines at my school but that doesn't really count.

I'll argue with Firecrouch, and you know why? Because he's read the manga, even if only parts as far as I know. He knows what it looks like, how it operates, feels, smells, compares etc.

Ive read the first three volumes. But then I stopped. Not out of boredom. I just stopped for some reason. Then two years later I decided i wanted to get into OP but i decided to watch the anime.

Pacing is a massive massive massive problem that wedges itself right between the two versions.
This is akin to me like saying I'm missing out on some cool arc in a different series. Maybe I am, but I'm not missing anything One Piece.

Interesting. I think of it as it is one piece, yet u view it as if it's not One Piece. That's an intriguing way of looking at it. Not that it's different from every1 else's views, but I never thought of it that way. I still disagree though, I think it is One Piece. Some filler arcs can't be considered canon, but most of them can. I mean, they fit into the story, so I just view them as if it's another arc.

One Piece is too unique a series in it's style and tone and vision for me to tolerate filler, it's DIRECTLY tied to Oda in my mind. Good or no, and I have seen filler in OP I thought was decent, I for instance kind of liked the stuff about the prisoners Robin hung out with when she got sent to that huge bridge.
I liked it, but never for one second was it really One Piece. One Piece is Oda, plain and simple.

Again, that's a different way of putting it from where I put it. I find myself to be very tollerate over One Piece filler, unlike other anime such as bleach and that taboo anime that starts with an "N". One Piece was practically made for filler. All what it's about is island hopping, well at least that's how the story revolving around the SH's generally progresses. Paradise, the first half of the grand line, has more than 10 islands in it, but that's around the amount of islands the SH's have travelled to in paradise. So it's good to add in more islands and stuff. It also gives you a general look on what the SH's daily lives are like. It might not be canon, but I still call it OP.

And what happens if Magellan touches marco, could marco still heal that?And in the anime you can see a scene where Magellan uses his poison armor to defend himself from bullets and cannon balls. So could Magellan even defend himself from sword attacks?
Magellan probably has some sort of poison which can melt things, including swords. I'm going to go with "yea probably" on marco's fruit.
