On the subject of movies, can someone explain what was so great about Wall E and Finding Nemo? I often see Wall E praised as best Pixar movie/animated movie ever or something like that. I thought it was ok, but it didn't really make me feel like crying, laughing or pretty much anything else. The only scene I wanted to rewatch was when the spaceship started to move and the camera zoomed to the captain's overexcited face.

Nemo I found boring. It just felt like a series of problems coming one after another, and "bawwwww s/he's dea- oh wait nevermind s/he got better" was used way too often for my taste. And I didn't find the blue amnesiac fish cute and funny, but freaking annoying instead.

It's probably because of Wall-E's message in this environmentally conscience society. You know, the message about being eco-friendly and caring for the world. Don't turn the world into a giant trash dump and the jettison off into space where you live off of computers and get fat. It delivered a nice message to the future generation it was geared towards and besides that…it was just a cool and entertaining movie.

As for Finding Nemo, I think it also had a lot to do with the environmental message it sounded off on. Fishing, coral reefs, pollution, etc... I remember there being lots of hype on its CGI too. I also found, and still find it, to be quite funny and entertaining.

They sure do try to shove a lot of messages down our throats with these movies...oh so subtly. Lol, reminds me of Happy Feet. My last video for the night then off to bed.

Actually, the design's off for that.

The tomoe rotate counter-clockwise, because the three scythes represent the flow of time ('clockwise') as part of the mind, body, soul trichotomy…plus I'd prefer my old one, if someone had it. It was high resolution.
