Bleach is my favorite album from the grunge four.

And I've actually found a great amount of artists I love from this era. You just need to dig a bit. Depending on what type of music you're looking for, though, I can find corresponding bands that at least I love.

A lot of the music I listen to from this era is from the "Screamo/"Punk"" Genre, which I'm learning to appreciate. Bands like Attack! Attack!, Chiodos, Skylit Drive, The Used, etc.

Still, I really don't like them as much as the older bands.

Tuesday's Gone comes the closest. As for the Mercyful Fate medley, no one can replicate King Diamonds voice, especially James Hetfield.

High on Fire is a consistent favorite of mine. They have yet to release a weak album and they're on number four. It moves from more sludge/doom to thrash, so jump in wherever you feel most comfortable.

I could never get into the Nirvana-esque sound. And Grunge is not my thing. I like the instrumentals of metal, but I can't stand the singers or the lyrics for the most part. Especially the screaming where they tear apart their vocal cords.

I'm more a ska person, in general.

I am not really a fan of a particular music genre to tell you the truth (you could find from Happy Hardcore Techno to classical music on my playlist) but metal is one of the music genres I listen to the least. Gotta dive in those waters more! I'll certainly find songs that'll give me that nice tingle I get when I discover a song I like~
