Man, the action in this chapter is just intense! Saying that Luffy kicked Moria and Oz's ass would be a mere understatement. It's good to see that balloon air jet attack he used back when he fought Crocodile again.

I think this beats Luffy vs. Crocodile as my favorite one of his fights. It was intense, and not to long. But, there are still some loose ends to tie up. Like finding out what happened to Hogback and Cindry (Or if they're still alive, for that matter), and where Bear sent Perona.
Don't forget Hildon, he still hasn't served a purpose yet.

It seems only the shadows inside of Luffy escaped; as long as Moria is unable to order all of the shadows back before sunrise, our heroes are still in deep shit. Hopefully some "drastic negotiation/torture" is in the near future.

Actually I think all the shadows are returning, one of the rolling pirates says it in dirt monkey AL's translation, and he must have been referring to ALL shadows, not just the ones leaving luffy's body. Plus there is a pic showing how a bunch of shadows is leaving all of Thriller Bark

Yeah except in the big panel with Odz defeated on the background you see Nami and Usopp running towards an unconscious Luffy with the Rolling Pirates following them… And Nami and Usopp are the only ones with shadows.

I guess all I can say is that the shadows are still on their way. Werent the rolling pirates all inserted into zombie animals? they were at the pier so a bit further away. All the shadows above thriller bark cant just be accounted for by the 100 shadows of luffy escaping

To me it seems the "victims" were definitely wrong in their belief that beating Moria would be enough for their shadows to return, and that Moria wasn't lying when he said that the only way for that to happen would be to order them to go back to their rightful owners with Moria's voice.
Makes sense, afterall Moria knows his powers better than anyone and I'm still waiting for someone to give a good reason as to why he'd have lied (and no, not "he wanted to dissuade Luffy from fighting him" cause that's ridiculous).

As for the chapter…all I need to say is "Nightmare Storm" ruled. Can't say how it ranks in power but just seeing Nightmare Luffy using Storm on Odz and Moria at the same time made the chapter. Though one thing I found peculiar: all of the shadows that flew off at the end of the chapter were just Luffy's. If Moria was truely defeated, wouldn't we see all the zombies collapse in their place and all the shadows return as opposed to Nightmare Luffy wearing off? Hopefully next week will be further confirmation.

Ha ha, wow, that was awesome. Moria's face just as he was about to get pistoled is great. As others have said, it doesn't seem like all the shadow's are returning. What now? Also, will Kuma just leave and report Moria's loss, or will he still do something?
But doppelman is still somewhere…
I mean, besides Doppelman being a living being of sorts due to the devil fruit, there's also the chance that Moria could switch his "consciousness" to take over Doppelman after his Body was smashed to almost death by STORM...
