Yeah, this week's spoiler exactly what I thought last week's spoiler was going to be: Barragan's Fraccion vs. Pillar guardians. (only worth of this: more Ikakku action, Yumichika's possible Bankai and 69's Shikai revelation) And at this rate, I think the four remaining fraccion are easier to pair off than I realized. (Sexy: Mira Rose/Matsumoto, Gaudy: Apache/Iba, Quiet: Sun Sun/Sasakibe, Insane: Lillinette/Omaeda)

Mostly Omaeda was who was left. Halibel's Fraccion seem to match pretty well with the other three VCs there at this time (not counting Nanao or Momo…wherever they are). Thus we have Lillinette and we have...him. OK, the only reason I even appreciate Omaeda is mostly from realization that he's nothing but comic relief and will get his butt kicked by anyone and everyone else in this series so it at least gives the Espada some hope. Besides, with how little is left of the plot, my guess is Kubo is stretching it out with Fraccion fights to hold off on the big guns.

Most likely. We're getting the VCs & Ikakku fighting probably now since this could be their last fights unless they are crucial in some other way (well the ones there currently…not counting those still in HM such as Nemu, Isane & Yachiru or the two not anywhere currently: Nanao & Momo). Next will be the Captains probably followed by the Vizard and Urahara's group & the dads. Then once that part is done and Ichigo/Ulquiorra is complete, we'll probably know where Aizen stands at that point to determine how much more is left.

Full summary out but not too much more revealed outside a few interesting matters:
-Ikkaku seems rather cocky against his Fraccion
-Yumichika's fighting a drag queen (someone says they have a "face of a woman & the body of Mike Tyson"…my guess is its some sort of muscular guy or a boxer)
-Kira goes from 0 to 60...er, dulled to angry just from his opponent mentioning Gin.
-And the Hisagi fight...looks dull so far.
-Oh...and somehow Soifon is starting to doubt whether she told Omaeda anything at all regarding the pillar fighters...or if he was just ignoring her while eating. -
Man oh man, I know bad guys usually have no sense of strategy, but this is pretty ridiculous. We have 4 defenders who can't leave critical targets and 4 attackers… let's send our weakest guys to fight 1 on 1! Best not to think about it, I guess.
So we're in a bit of a Catch-22 now. For these fights to be any good, they've gotta be... hmm, what do you think? Two chapters apiece? But that'd 8 chapters (2 months) of unnecessary fights by characters that have worn out their welcome a bit. With like 6 vaizards, 5 or 6 captains who've yet to show their bankais, and a bunch of former captains all waiting in the wings. Is anybody looking forward to any of these fights? Maybe if 69 dude gets a bankai, that could be fun. They'll probably just get beat up and rescued by the vaizards anyway, though.

I sort of see it differently: we're essentially starting the final arc of the series now. Both sides are pretty much starting to lay it all on the table bit by bit and its still too early for the really big/surprise players (Vaizards, Urahara's group) to show up, particularly since we don't even have an idea how powerful these three are, let alone Aizen, Gin and Tousen. Having Barragan's Fraccions fight those four may not be the most glorious thing or the best decision and is purely going to extend the series, but its sort of Kubo's opening stage of what could be the culmitive final battle. Everyone most likely will have their chances when the time comes…
BTW: had another stupid thought: considering that the four currently at the pillars are more notable and popular Shinigami...and the four with the main group are pretty much "not" (well outside Matsumoto), those not at the pillars may not get a battle after all...who knows anymore. (probably the only dissapointment if that happens is Iba doesn't get a fight that's not offscreen and mostly drinking with Ikkaku...which for an 11th Squad veteran is embarrasing)

The fraccion suck anyways
and all 4 of those guys are probably captain level now, Kira and Hisagi are captains now (Kira was confirmed, so I'm gonna assume Hisagi is one too), Ikkaku is just as strong as a captain, and I'm sure Yumichika is no slouch either, hell he probably learned Bankai by now
I just hope Kubo keeps these fights short, they're bound to be very dull, or Kubo will introduce us to new shit and never use it again (Hisagi's shikai, Yumichika's bankai, etc)

So I was reading the new chapter, and I couldn't believe they wasted the first three pages showing off those four finishing off the guys from last week. That was a big waste of space.
The chapter was an okay set up chapter. Not great, but at least the fraccion are new and different. It makes things interesting.

I had got the impression that Charlotte was a freak from the spoilers, but just… shit, man. Yumichika's fighting fucking RUPAUL. The fight itself had better be made of pure distilled Awesome to make up for me having to look at that… thing.
On the other hand, yay Kira. I'd always found him to be somewhat boring before, but his reaction to Gin being mentioned was amusing to say the least.
I guess he's one of those quiet psychotic types…

Liked the chapter. Some entertaining interactions with the Death Gods and the Fraccion. Liked how Ikkaku was buffled when asked who he prayed to. And his conclusion to pray to the Arrancars god instead was also priceless. Yumichika looking away because his opponent is ugly also was nice (could make for an interesting fight with such a attitude), only to be topped by the bitch slap he received. And Kira's opponent was just great because his ritual ridicules the entire big talk component before fights in general. Only Shuhei and his opponent were rather boring in these pages. But hey, this chapter really gave me something while reading it, so I'm not complaining.

I'm glad to see Kubo hasn't lost it when it comes to creating varied and interesting characters. This is looking so much better than the Hueco Mundo fights, just for the sheer WTF-ness of it all. And it's also nice to see Soul Society characters back in action.

Yumichika = Hardest LOL from Bleach in a long, long time.
Hisagi = Eh, he still looks pretty!

And I think from the second Bleach movie, we see Shuhei's release but don't actually see what it does. His release appears to take the form of a crystal staff. He SHOULD have Bankai, since he's an acting Captain now, right?

If I had to guess, then, I'd say Shuhei's Zanpakuto is similar to Kensei's for some reason; something to do with explosions.
