I doubt Grimm will officialy join the group (I hope), he'll most likely help fight the baddies so he can have another chance to beat Ichigo. Hopefully he won't cry and moan like Vegeta when he loses tho.
Grimmjow joining would be the nail in the coffin for Zombie Powder, so I'm seriously hoping he doesn't. I was kind of looking forward to Kubo going back to the series.

I always found him a fairly enjoyable character, and he's been consistent with it.
That's more than I can say for most of the cast.

So, did Le Roux fire his eye-control-laser at Rukia or something? It seemed like he starred at her and did something, but then Hanatarou came in and Byakuya gave out a generic threat and nothing happened.

He did not. He just "healed" Ichigo a couple of times, but even then he didn't seem to contribute very much.
In Omakes, though, he fights with his zanpaktou so we can learn it's powers. He still loses.

This chapter had so many chances for one word changes that would make it racist.
And I don't think he can heal someone with it, just the wounds he makes using the weapon itself.

Really, this is one of the few times I'm having trouble predicting Kubo.
I guess it all depends if Hanatarou is actually going to be a major player in the present combat or is just going to sit there…......healing Rukia.(Most likely to happen.)Come to think of it, depending on how things pan-out, this could be a great way to learn about Hana's past through some classic mid-fight flashback.

At least most of the fight was fun.
Definitely one of the most underrated parts of Soul Society.

The middle part of Soul Society was the best, from about Ikkaku to the beginning of Ichigo's training.
After that anything involving the main cast was pretty lame, but there were a couple of good side fights. (Kenpachi raping Tosen)

Seeing Ichigo's bankai was probably one of my favorite moments in Bleach (mind you, I was watching the anime at the time and did not know what it looked like prior).
I also thought Byakuya vs. Ichigo was good in that "Gaara vs. Lee" way.

But, like you said, training arc came along…....with assorted, fun swords.

The scientist battle was the battle that finaly made miself read bleach whole, I thought that we where going to get it first because it was the least plot involved, so I want the 9th espada dead ASAP so I can see the crazy scientist fight.
