@A-Log:
I was expecting some harsh criticism on what I've said earlier on. But still, I'm waving the white flag; I'm saying that you guys won and got the dub you can be proud of. It's just that I can't go out of state and risk missing college and making my family worry about me. Living with my family at my age– pathetic, I know; but that's what I have right now to support me. I was at least hoping one of you guys would sympathize with me or say something like "Relax, we know how disappointment is like" or "We understood that's where you would like to get your start, but at least Texas improved the quality". Not sarcasm that I can easily pick up as obvious. I can't help with what I do; I have Asperger's Syndrome, plus I've been paranoid since 6th grade, thus losing trust with everything. I'm just being honest. Plus, if you don't know what Asperger's Syndrome is, I suggest you look it up. But still, the dub's improved and I respect that.

PS- I will say this: Stephanie Young's portrayal of Nico sounded similar to Veronica Taylor's portrayal... minus the accent.
Dude, you have Asperger's Syndrome? Me too! Strangely enough, I've also been paranoid since 6th grade (actually before that, but I had a different kind of paranoid following 6th grade), but you can help what you do. I'm having similar problems myself and my friends just tell me to deal with it and stop ruminating on them so much. There are just certain things you can and can't control and you don't have to be upset about things not going your way because you can change from past experiences and make up for lost time.
And I think people reacted to you with sarcasm instead of constructive criticism because you were getting into a rant that didn't really sound like you were talking about your personal problems.
Anyway, yeah, back on-topic, I don't have anything to say that hasn't been said before, it was awesome. I have a new reason to watch Toonami, and I haven't watched Toonami in a long time, but now that I'm back watching that block I realized that I missed out on "Bobobo" for the longest time since the first season, so I hope I can catch up on Jetstream when that show arrives.
But surprisingly, although this may have to do with the fact I stopped watching 4Kids "One Piece" completely, this new episode, the first of a new dub version, seemed to mesh pretty naturally with what I had previously watched on Cartoon Network. I guess it could be a blessing in disguise. I dunno, did you guys feel what I felt? I guess it just goes to show that all those changes 4Kids made were for nothing, that whatever people enjoy from "One Piece" in whatever form is just its basic original elements, and whoever couldn't stand watching the 4Kids episodes just couldn't look past all the artistic liberties.
On the other hand, I don't have much to compare it to on second thought since this is the only English-dubbed version of the episode. If there was a 4Kids version of this episode I could look at side-by-side I might have a clearer reaction.
