Thought so….....
LOST Season 4 *Spoilers Abound!*
-
Thought so….....
-
Thanks, but how do I get to watch it a frame at a time
HAHAHA! This kind of question, only in a LOST thread.
So yeah, Missing Pieces are mainly a friggin' waste of time thus far.
Frogurt getting a face was neat but I'm not impressed. I expected a lot more interesting tidbits and hints at what's to come. Oh well, we're only like halfway through right? Maybe the best comes last.
-
Is this thread full of Season 4 spoilers yet? I literally just scrolled straight down, just incase.
You know what? screw it. See you next year.
-
Season 3 DVDs are out now.
-
Hope Amazon ships my Blu-ray boxset today. The regular DVD box came out here a month ago, so I've been avoiding the temptation.
-
-
THURSDAY, JANUARY 31ST
I'm fuckin' there.
-
! So the Island is actually Tokyo-3:
! -
I'm really glad they've chosen to go ahead and show what they finished. I'd rather have half a season than nothing.
-
Yeah I'm not with Damon on his statement about not wanting to show half. That seemed more geared towards getting fans mobilized to aid in the strike.
Plus Ben's actor whose name I've forgotten has said episode 8 ends on a mofo of a cliff-hanger so what more can you ask for?
-
Holy Mother of GOD…...
Right after the cinematic trailer, we've been suprised with THIS intense trailer. Please, guys, take a look at it, enjoy it, and tell me, if you are feeling a chill rolling down your spine, like I did, when I first saw it.
Such an intense trailer I haven't seen for… well... years? One particular scene amazed me:
! Hurley: "When we get rescued, and I go back, I'm gonna be free" with the jumping-slowmotion-hurley… Great, just great.
(EDIT: Yeah, omae, you are right… blushes ;-P I got confused, myself.)
-
NnNnNNnNUUUuuurggh!
~Having multiple fangasams
! Did I see Naomi? 1:09-10
-
@Battle:
! Did I see Naomi? 1:09-10
Yeah, you did.
! And it looks like she's being kinda stabbed or shoot. (She's groaning in pain and faltering
WTF? And take a close look at 1:03 Is this…
! Christian Shepard sitting in that chair in his suit?!? In this dark, barely-light, dirty room. You can clearly see it for a fraction of a second.
It's like hell was raised… My whole mind is in turmoil. ^^
-
Holy Mother of GOD…...
is right.
I'm so fucking pumped. THANK YOU for that.
Ganner, do you mean slow-motion? Time-lapse is a different technique. Unless I missed something.
-
Holy crap, that trailer is making me even more pumped! When they said Lost was heading in a new direction this season, they really meant it.
-
So… US writers' strike doesn't affect Lost? Or has Abrams, Lindelof and who ever else there were hired some Mexicans to do the writing for them? :P
-
Hey guys.
I just started watching Lost, I'm up to the middle of season 2. But the inclusion of Eko and Ana Lucia really bores me. Eko's flashback was so "wtf" that it seemed too coincidental. I'm sure there's an explanation for it eventually, which I'd rather not know.
But what I'm asking, is the series better or worse as it goes on? The whole Charlie and Claire thing is starting to get old, and why Kate would like Sawyer over Jack boggles me. The Michael story line is getting interesting though.
FYI I'm up to episode 2-11.
-

Umm, the first eight episodes were finished even before the strike started, so now, they are going to air them. That's why we are going to see those now in January.
Hey guys.
But the inclusion of Eko and Ana Lucia really bores me.
FYI I'm up to episode 2-11.
I must say, I really liked Eko right from the start, and he's an VERY interesting character. Same goes for Ana Lucia.
And, if you've watched the show, you should now, they are survivors from the back of the plane (which broke in half XP) … And... that's why they are there. lol. There's nothing "more" behind this... What should it be, either way?And the Michael-story is interesting for you? Funny, cause that wasn't really a hot deal for me. ^^
All in all, season 2 is even BETTER than season 1, and the finale kicks ass. Really. Season 3 started good (3x01 lol), had a hang-over during the first half, but catches up later. Season 3 has had some of my favourite episodes so far in it, and all in all season 3's SECOND half, was my favourite lostpart. (Hell, I LOOOVE the episode "Flashes before your eyes" (3x08))
-
I like Eko as a character (Ana Lucia not so much.) but the way he tied into the island seemed really freaking unbelievable. The numbers tieing Hurley to the island made a bit more sense. The plane thing seemed completely random.
Eko is a bamf though. I liked him when he first kicked the crap out of Sawyer.
I guess by the inclusion I mean more how they just came into the story because they needed more characters for the show, or something like that. Life would've gone on without the tail survivors.
-

It seems you don't know much about Lost then.
Certainly by the point you are in the series you should realize the show isn't about what's believeable or what's unbelievable. It's science vs fate/faith.
If you search back in the LOST threads you'll find my own remarkable LOST-like connection on an airplane and here's one I always enjoy.
Carlton Cuse: Right, right. But in fact, we have ourselves, had our own sort of indirect Lost cross which we wanted to tell you guys about today.
Damon Lindelof: We have proof! Tangible proof.
Carlton Cuse: We have proof of these crosses can actually happen.
Damon Lindelof: Photographic evidence! There's a picture that totally tells the story of our cross.
Carlton Cuse: So, this actually started, many many years ago, when I was partnered with a writer named Jeffrey Baum. [Jeffrey Baum and Carlton Cuse old picture shown] Jeffrey was a big feature writer, and he was the writer at the time of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and…
Damon Lindelof: I've heard of that film.
Carlton Cuse: And… I was with him, and we were developing this movie, and Jeffrey had become friends with George Lucas. And I was wanting to take my son to Disneyland, and his friends. And, y'know, we worked for the Walt Disney Company, but I discovered that it isn't as easy to get free tickets to Disneyland as one might think. They're not just saying "Oh, you work for Disney, have some free Disneyland tickets". It's even harder, actually…
Damon Lindelof: That's a lesson we learned later ourselves, but now we're getting ahead of it.
Carlton Cuse: Yes, it is. But… one day Damon and I were talking about this...
computer ("Carlton") and guy with glasses and cap asleep on sofa ("Damon").]
Carlton Cuse: …And I was figuring out if I would be able to get some of, y'know, access to Disneyland... ["Carlton" is talking to asleep "Damon", then kicks sofa to get his attention; "Damon" takes off his cap, revealing a bald rubber skullcap] I was explaining to him, that back when I was partnered with Jeffrey Baum, Jeffrey had become friends with George Lucas. One time, George Lucas had invited Jeffrey to go to Disneyland together, with their families, because they had kids that were about the same age. And so, Jeffrey and George Lucas went to Disneyland together, and the next day, Jeffrey came back and was incredibly excited–we were working and explaining that, because it was George Lucas, they not only got free tickets to Disneyland, they actually got backdoor access to the rides. So they had someone who was literally taking them in the backdoor, and they didn't have to wait on any lines to go on the ride, so I was thinking, "Wow, that would be so cool to be George Lucas."
Damon Lindelof: But anyways, as Carlton was telling me this story, I basically said y'know, that is the craziest story, because when I was 14 years old… [Another parody "flashback" with geeky looking boy with glasses (taped in the middle) and a wig shown, in back, a hand goes out and pats his head]… my father and I came out to Los Angeles for the first time after years and years of begging him, can we go to LA, can we go to LA, can we go to LA... [Shot of young "Damon" holding up newspaper, then shot of them getting in car]… he finally relented and said "We'll go to Los Angeles, damnit!" [Shot of young "Damon" reading fan magazine with Locke's drawing on the front; "Damon" finds out he is leaving, is happy, and slips the magazine carefully into a protective plastic bag and refiles it away in box] And we came out here, and the first day, we went to Universal Studios, which was very exiting to me. And at the end of it, we were starving, so… we went to this place called Tony Roma's. ["Damon" stands in line at restaurant, then someone brushes past him, and his jaw falls open] But while we were standing in line, we saw George Lucas, who went straight to the front of the line, with his entire family.
Carlton Cuse: Does that man ever wait in line?
Damon Lindelof: He doesn't. And I said "Oh my God! That's George Lucas!" And my father… we were so overwhelmed by this, because we were such big Star Wars fans, that we fumbled for our camera, but were unable to take a picture of him, and he went straight to the front of the line at Tony Roma's, and after this, we became even more disheartened, so we left. But the next day, we went to Disneyland, I got in this line for this ride called 'Star Jets' ["Damon" is bored standing in a long line, when someone brushes past him again] And, lo and behold, I see George Lucas again! He buzzes right by me to the front of the line, and I'm like "Oh my God! I'm not going to miss this opportunity twice." So, I ran out of the line, got my father in the gift shop ["Damon" goes to gift shop to get his dad and drag him out]… and said, "Lucas just went up the elevator to 'Star Jets'... "Just loiter around the exit, so when he comes around, you can take a picture of ME, but he'll be in the background. So we won't be like the papparazzi." Though I didn't use that word, because I was 14. So, lo and behold, I waited at the exit of the ride, and 'snap', when my dad takes the picture and came back to New Jersey, I showed everybody that I knew, "Hey look, we saw George Lucas." And everybody was very excited. [Actual photo shown, of a young Damon with the side view of Lucas walking by.] So, I told you this story, and I said, "I think I still have that picture somewhere, lemme bring it in." And I brought in the picture for you, of me and George Lucas, and you took one look at it, and you said, "Oh my God…"
Carlton Cuse: …"See this guy standing here in this picture that you've had since you were 14 years old? That's Jeffrey Baum!" [Focus on background of Damon's photo, another bearded guy next to Lucas]
Damon Lindelof: So, basically we realized that the picture that you had told me about, how to get into Disneyland and how to cut lines, I actually had a photograph of that story.
Carlton Cuse: Yes, you told me a story, and you… yes, I told you a story, and you had a picture of yourself in my story.
Damon Lindelof: Right, there's a photograph of me, and George Lucas, and Jeffrey Baum.
Carlton Cuse: That's awesome. So, there it is.
Damon Lindelof: It would have been cooler if it was you.
Carlton Cuse: Well, exactly.
Damon Lindelof: But, if we were writing it for Lost, it would have been you.
Carlton Cuse: Hey, exactly. So, so, there are those kind of near misses and crosses and collisions in life, aren't there? -
Well, thanks omae, didn't know anything about that podcast/interview and it was really enjoyable and interesting ^^
And here… are new Season-4-Promo-shots.
http://mer-moonchild.livejournal.com/18555.htmlNothing fancy, I know, really… But still, maybe, somebody's interested in them lol.
(@BF: Taking a look at the current avatar I really LOVED "Twin Peaks", back then. Hell, it was a creepy-a** show, which was really GREAT. Good choice of an avatar, mate^^ )
-
uH-real interesting to see the same characters weve seen for 3 years posting before…....omg what a surprise,a jungle scene.I can die happy now.
(note to God:do NOT read this post please)
-
Ya know I've only ever seen the entire eps. of LOST but NEVER watched those extras in the DVDs, would I be missing out on anything by not watching them.
-
Damn that teaser was sexy, Jack with the Jesus beard was too badass, gonna try to make some crappy GIFs now XP.
-
Regarding promo shots, wonder if the backgrounds superimposed on each character show some hint about what's in store for them.
-
I kinda doubt it .
-
Make your own kind of music~ Desmond has crawled his way up and is now my favorite character. Julliette's getting there too. The Others are freaking great overall. Tom's pretty funny. Ben is one of the greatest villains ever.
Still need to finish the rest of season 3, halfway there.

Entire LOST recap in 8 minutes, 15 seconds:
GF2ig_sWP2Q
Sounds like Maggie Grace doing the recap.
-
Ahahaha, so amazing. Perfect narration and editing!
-
"Mr. Friendly throws like a girl." ROFL
BF, you are my man. Thank you!! Perfect, just perfect.
stephen's comment sums it up. ^^ -
"Locke & Boone find a plane, Boone climbs up, it falls, Boone dies."
HAH!
-
SO heartfull .
-
Sun is pregnant, but Jin is sterile. What's up with that. (Hurley thumbs up)
-
From the season 4 trailer, something tells me that next season is gonna have a Battle Royale feeling to it. You know, except it won't be the survivors fighting amongst themselves, and minus the death collars.
And that "Lost in a nutshell" video was great.
"Sawyer just wants a kiss from Kate."
Kate: What?
"They kiss." -
why is there a huge 6 at about 7:47 in the video?
six years? eeeh?
-
why is there a huge 6 at about 7:47 in the video?
six years? eeeh?
I could tell you what's the 6 about… But it's a spoiler concerning season 4. ^^
So thank God for the spoiler-tags:
! 6 people will leave the island in season 4. Which people it will be is also already out, but I didn't want to spoil myself too much XP
EDIT:
Oh sh**, I thought you were talking about the cinematic-trailer. Well yeah… XP -
aah
I'll see if I can avoid spoilers for long (probably not…)
-
There's also a 6 I see in the recap link BF posted.
Hmmm, I have a theory of what it could stand for but it's pretty grim and I'd rather the story didn't go down that path but we shall see.
Either way there's no way I wanna know what it is.
-
That 8 min video was priceless especially the "very sad" put in every few.
-
VERY interesting thing:
http://www.find815.com/site/index.phpIt's a site, about flight 815, obviously, where in the next 4 weeks, till the start of season 4 the writers will give out vital background-information concerning the whole series and flight815. There's also an very interesting game integrated.
(I'm already at "Level 2", where Sam sends the e-mail, and you've got to find out the possible sender (maxwell group)… And from here on I'm "lost" g... I have found some other clues and stuff, but don't want to spoil anybody, yet, so maybe, we could talk about it, and get further ahead. lol)So now, have fun.
-
The big question on my mind, is it canon?
-
The big question on my mind, is it canon?
Like some sites reported it's directly from the writers, and you see, there's much info in it, so… Umm, yeah, I think it is. ^^
EDIT: Are you counting the days, till season 4 launches, or what? XD (Your signature, obviously)
-
nice Game! guess it´s canon, there is even a link to ABC and it´s really
"lost"-ish
but i´m stuck in the dark bedroom >:(
Atleast this game stops me from searching for lost spoilers… -
all I get is a barren black screen.
-
there is even a link to ABC
Unfortunately that doesn't mean anything. ABC had 'official' Lost Diary Entries during Season 1 on their site that weren't from the writers and they just fucked the hell out of the continuity slowly but surely so they've been abandoned.
I was wary at first considering the silence from Cuse etc. but I guess that's just a result of the strike. This is a very fun diversion. Betting it's all a trap to get him to find the 'fake' wreckage site explaining Naomi's bombshell from last season.
-
Matthew fox interview on the upcoming season.
-
So, here's a sneak peak at the season 4 premeire. Nothing spoilerific, but
! It starts where the season 3 finale left off. Hurley gets on the walkie and hears the news about the freighter. Locke ran off after killing Naomi. After Kate asks what they'll do if they see him, Jack said that he'd kill him if they met again after.
http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2008/01/beginning-of-end-sneak-peek.html -
I just have this hunch that whoever they called-it wasnt good to call them.
-
It probably isn't, especially after Ben's warning about the freighter crew being the real enemy.
-
I kinda knew that. Was just looking at Ben's priceless expresion, after he heard Jack talk "You didnt listen punk, you think your safe, but youre as good as dead."
Stil wondering about Jacob though. And if the phrase "God loves you as he loved Jacob" would have a deeper meaning too.
