I don't get all the Orihime hate, tell the truth. She never struck me as whiny. Hell, she has more guts than most anime females, despite essentially being the Healer. Her only "whiny" or otherwise negative moments I can think of were when she confided doubts and such to Rangiku when the latter was in the bath, and when she was so shocked at VizardIchigo she couldn't believe it was really him. That's about it. Hardly hateworthy.
In truth, there's only one character I can claim to hate or otherwise dislike.
KAKUZU (NARUTO) - He had so much potential and it just went down the toilet in no time flat.
He had freaky powers, could control with full capability all elemental chakras, he had five hearts which were supposed to make him extremely hard to kill. That is freaky and cool.
On the downside, he talked about going into berserker rages (which is why Hidan was his partner), but I never really felt I saw when he fought. What really gets me though, is how easily he fell to Naruto.
Now just to be clear, I have no problem with Naruto being the one to defeat Kakuzu. Nor have I any problem with Naruto beating him with his latest That Jutsu that the arc was all about setting up the creation/use of. What annoyed the hell out of me and makes me hate Kakuzu is that, having bragged (repeat: bragged) about the greater battle experience granted by his longer life, he went and got punked* by Naruto's "Here I Am No Not Really That's A Shadow Clone I'm Actually Right Behind You" trick.
Zabuza required more trickery than this. Zabuza, the Naruto group's first major enemy back when they were still Genin, took more brains to defeat than the battle-hardened Kakuzu.**
No matter how you cut it, Kakuzu's defeat was pure stupidity on his part and pure sloppiness on Kishimoto's, in my honest opinion.
As for Sasuke, the only thing about him I can feel dislike towards is the high likelihood that he's going to end up returning to Leaf Village at some point without suffering any consequence for what was essentially going rogue and/or turning traitor.
But all this is just my opinion. I could be wrong.
*Kakuzu doesn't deserve "Owned"
**That's nothing against Zabuza, he was badass, it's just that later villains should require more effort than early ones, no matter how badass, in my mind.
I think that should be more blamed on the crummy story and writing than the character actually.
I personally liked Kakuzu, but I hated how crappily he was taken out. God so much potential, and a cool design. Just felt wasted. To be fair, I liked his fight until Naruto showed up, then he suddenly turned into a wimp, and all he was doing was just trying to dodge Naruto's attacks until "whoops, he got me."
That's just my opinion as well.
