Everybody's least favourite song contest! And no, I'm not talking about Idols. Anyway, as every country has their finalists picked already I decided to check them out. For fun. I was sort of hoping that the quality would a lil bit better this time around but, well, perhaps there was more diversity than usually. It's still like listening an anime OST though . And I still can't point where some of the participating countries are on the map.
But if I had to try to predict who's going to win I say Sweden because I have actually heard about The Ark before hand (and, hey, that's cheating!). Israel's Push the Button song will probably do well too as it have had some media attention before hand. Besides the song is pretty catchy too. I still think that Isreal isn't an _euro_pean country but yeah. I really like Romanian's entry: Liubi, Liubi, I love you. It's a good song, it stands out and it actually sounds like it could come out from Romania. I hope it will do well. Andorra could be successful with their generic American teen band. And German's entry isn't half bad either. So those are my top five.
I suppose I should say something about Finland's entry too. Eh… I have nothing against Hanna, she's very humble and down the earth, but her music is incredibly shallow. It's not even really her's. The song isn't that bad once you have heard it many times but Leave Me Alone is still just a typical Eurovision song with few guitar riffs. Thunderstone would have been a better band even though it's just an avarage heavy band - it would stand out. But at least Finland's entry isn't that horrid Lovex .
