I think the jump will be weird for people who don't know it's a remake of sorts.I heard they were going to make 4 have stuff like 3D evidence, crime scene security tapes you can fast forward and rewind, and all that. At least, i heard that was in the first game as the last case(in the US) but my point is, many US people are at that point where they are both smart and dumb at the same time, so they'll realize the DS was capable of it all along, and wonder why.
Sucks to be them.
I'm working on the last case of Number 2, and will probably pick up Number 1 so I can beat that one too. But the Dang MS. Oldbag and her weird space suit has a testimony I'm going to have to just keep guessing where the problem is with it.
Oh well, this looks really good, and I can't wait. I'm anxious to find out Phoenix's past.

Yeah I heard about him, Apollo Justice. (Great name >_> ) Yeah, it's a bit of a dissapointment seeing as how epic T&T is.

Apollo isn't bad (Looks a little young in my opinion). The new prosecutor leaves…a bit to desired. And well, I can't help but laugh at what happened to Mr. Wright.

How's it like? I heard Phoenix makes a cameo, but I'd rather not know. All I know is the main kid is a defense attorney, his assistant is a magician, and the rival prosecutor looks like a bishy. I hope it has the kind of interesting characters from the previous games.

I for one haven't played the game seeing as I've been dead for a good while, but from what I've heard. Something's 'happened' to Mr. Wright, but even though this Odoroki kid is the main character Mr. Wright still seems to steal the spotlight.

One of the things that made me excited about GS4 was Minuki (the magician assistant), but personally, I think having a magician as your assistant sounded significantly cooler, and more practical, than some wacky, annoying spiritual medium.
And the characters look intensely awesome. Here's a few of my favorite designs:

At any rate, personally it looks much more interesting and much less of a bucket of angst than GS3 (though GS3's still cool… I didn't know it came out, I'll have to pick it up eventually).

Wow, I love the prosecutor. And I love the new characters. They are a lot different than the comical-like characters from the previous games, but they are still cool.

I checked the EB website, and its said that it was slated for a release in October. The 23rd to be exact.

Yes, the Japanese game comes with an english option. Actually, it's pretty much what America will get when it's released.

Indeed it does. I wouldn't have picked it up otherwise because the English is so lamely awesome. But yeah, it's cute. Interesting TURNAROUND I guess since I didn't know anything about the story. I've barely touched the game yet though.

I'm definitely looking forward to this game very much. I've already replayed the first game and was in the middle of replaying the second a few months ago… I'm surprised at how quickly the third is being released compared to the gap between the first two. The second was released at the beginning of this year, and the third is being released in two months. Seeing as they don't have to remake four like they did for the first three, I wouldn't be surprised if the fourth game came out mid-08. In an article about T&T in a recent Nintendo Power, it even mentioned that they're already working on the English localization for four.
I also gotta say, after looking at animations of the prosecutor in Ace Attorney 4, the animators must've loved him. He has some pretty fluid and complicated animations in comparison to the other characters.

Are you talking characters from GS4 or characters from the first trilogy which were shunned in GS4?

It has it's good share of typos, but it doesn't really hinder gameplay…or kill crucial moments. ("The Miracle never happen" >_>)

I agree. My two favorite cases were Kamen mask and Zenitora's (though I was hoping for a bit more out of Recipe for a Turnabout.) And though Godot is cool It's true that this game is a bit overated because of him. (He is my fav. prosecutor out of all 4 games though) and a lot of the things he does was a bit dumb. (Y HALO THAR MAGINIFICIENT TURNABOUT ;D)
EDIT-And the Psychelocks things always annoyed me.

From what I heard Garyuu wasn't that great compared to GS1-3 prosecutors.
But hey, I've been hearing a LOT of bad things about GS4 so…>_> -
The original von Karma was my favorite prosecutor, his "Objection" gave me a small chill when I first heard it. It was awesome, too bad it was a one-shot deal.
The character designs are great, no matter how crazy and over the top some of them get, it never gets old. My favorite overall character would be the assassin from the case in the second game. De Killer.

Tell me, was her only purpose just to make Edgeworth's return so much more memorable? "Yes, no more of that von Karma bitch". After "Justice for All" I had to go play the 4th case of "Ace Attorney" just so I didn't hate the entire family any more. Manfred was fucking awesome, though.
I wish GS4 would come out though. I'm itching to play as Orodoki.

I leant my friend my Justice for All and Ace Attorney in March and he is STILL stuck on Case 5 of AA. Gant keeps throwing him off, damn bastard.
So, I haven't played JFA for myself but I don't mind being spoiled so I know a lot of the details :p.
When I first saw that the prosecutor for GS3 was named Godot, I sprang up and said:
