Why are the two top fighters in the SH suddenly gone. how can they be abducted with no one noticing. My theory is perona. i think she is changing into funky looking animals like tht hlf dog hlf bird thing. I think that zombie is actually sanji who was changed into that. any other ideas as to our vanishing SH.
What is happening to the SH?(SPOILER)

Someone had the theory of their shadows being transfered to the zombies, therefore giving the zombies their personality. I like that theory.
-
Theres a reason for Chapter Discussion threads y'know..
-
Zoro probably just got lost…like usual
-
I think the shadow idea is probably pretty accurate (wouldn't be the first time I'd seen something similar. Though it might have been reflections. And I don't remember where…) However, if you remember, after Sanji was abducted we see Perona in her mansion...thing. And this was presumably during the time Zoro was abducted, so I don't think it's Perona. Maybe the 'Negative' ghosts are at it again, making it easy for them to be kidnapped. But maybe they're using a different attack, instead of 'Negative', 'Braindead' or something. I'm just going to wait and see on this one. (Alas, that there is waiting time between each chapter. And that the chapters are so short... Maybe not relatively so, but I'd love to just have the whole arc to read at once. sigh)
-
Yeah, I was thinking that the "Emofying" ghosts could like transport shadow stealing powers from Moria to Sanji and Zoro.
-
when exactly where their shadows stolen? usopp, nami and choppers shadows were probably stolen since they were knocked out but i doubt anybody would knock sanji and zoro out so how were they stolen?

I remember reading some story once, where shadows were stolen from people, and used to bring objects to life. I can't remember where it was, though (It's annoying, when you almost remember something, but not quite).
I think it looks like Chopper, Nami and Usopp still have their shadows in the latest chapter.

Were their shadows stolen? No. That means they didn't fulfill an easy enough condition to have their shadows not stolen but have Sanji's stolen. Which means maybe they weren't candidates to get their shadows, but maybe to serve as zombies? Meals? Servants?
If I go by the shadow "theory" [which I highly approve, it just doesn't fit elsewise], they definitely weren't judged to have their shadows stolen. And you can do it to almost anyone, as strong as he is, which isn't doubting Brooke's fighting ability. It can be done under pretty easy conditions. Such easy conditions can't miss Team Useless, right?
Eh, I hope people understood this. Tried to make it clear enough.
-
Well they were only just knocked out, and Perona was likely delivering them to Moria to have their shadows stolen.

Or found where Hogback's been storing all the liqour and sake from Captain John…

I think currently Oda is trying to fool the readers to think Sanji, or his brain is in the Dog/Penguin. And Ryuma was Brooks' in disguise. But I truely believe the Shadow Personality Theory to the fullest.
I'm guessing, atleast Franky will get is shadow taken. If it doesn't stop at Franky, it'll probably go as far as Luffy(this is also including Robin.) So most likely we're gonna have 3 more chapters of, some one dispearing then another's personality reapearing as a zombie. For example I can almost tell you that the next chapter will reveal Zoro as some random Surprise Zombie, and Franky disapearing.
-
how can they be abducted with no one noticing.
It was noticed. Luffy and Zoro commented on Sanji disappearing, and Luffy commented on Zoro going missing. The Straw Hats just don't worry about each other much, especially the extra strong ones like Zoro and Sanji, because they can take care of themselves.
-
So next chapter we'll see a zombie with a total lack of orientation :D

think he was wondering why noone noticed untill after they were gone.

what happen to sanji?
is this dog face pengiun are real sanji or just his clone????
i can see how tough SH will have to face in this arc….:getlost:
why doesn't the penguins have any numbers on them?
doesnt all the zombies have numbers on them?
does the zombie generals have numbers on them?
how did hogback make that penguindog so fast? just how many bodies does hogback/moria have prepared for zombification?

I think you have to have a pretty generic personality to have your shadows stolen, if that's the case.
Nami- too greedy. She'd be all, "What's in it for me? No money? No deal, pal."
Usopp- too cowardly. He'd just run away any time something happened.
Chopper- Not a human, perhaps? If this is the case, (I'm not saying yes or no) then we can expect NAmi, Usopp and Chopper to be the heroes here, as the rest of the crew can follow orders and aren't total cowards and are human. XD.
Even Brooke USED to be human, so shrug it seems likely. But a funky idea: what if the pirate ship that attacked Brooke's WAS Thriller Bark? That'd make for a great flashback, and therefore put Brooke in the running for crew member even moreso than right now.
-
Shadows create the personality of the zombie, but it still knows it's a zombie and has skills and serves Moria and stuff.
-
It actually wouldnt' be hard to demobilize Sanji and Zoro within the mansion. Perona's ghosts could easily do the job. Whammy them with a ghost, then spirit them away before anybody can really notice what's happened.
-
Cindry or Perona could just fanservice Sanji easily, and Zoro would just walk around aimlessly.

can she use the ghosts when shes up and about? when we saw that the ghosts were hers she was in a meditative state untill the ghosts returned to her.
-
Well, now that Luffy got taken, since he was retarded and wore armor, it looks like the crew is mostly fucked.
-
And yet, Robin, Franky and Team Useless remain?
I think this arc, we'll see Robin display more of her abilities, Team Useless will actually become useful, and Franky will get in a throwdown with some zombies. I think the Big 3 are out this arc. It'll serve to equalize the amount of fight time each character gets.(Who wants to bet if Franky used blood instead of cola, he'd be a gothic type personality?)
And maybe Ussop will actually get a cool fight, that doesn't have running like a coward, lying, or screaming involved. The only battle that didn't have either of the above was probably when he fought Luffy, where he just screamed beforehand.

That's a little naive I think. More likely those guys will just be out of the picture until the rest of the crew or Brooke saves them. You know, those guys almost always have to fight last. And of course, it is possible that those SHs can still fight without their shadows, since Brook can still move without his.
But yeah, I do think that the other SHs will get some good screentime, look at Robin and Franky now. Plus, judging from Lola is seems that Oda has already planned Nami's fight, so maybe everyone will get a fight this arc. Considering how ugly Lola is, maybe it won't be a fanservice fight either, unless Oda starts getting into some really creepy fetishes….
However, Usopp will most definitely do one of those three things you listed--I don't see any way around it. Screaming is a given, though I don't see why that should be a problem. It's just another excuse for a face fault, and all the SHs do that sometimes. Oh well.

About "Team Useless": Nami can't be all that useless if she took out a CP9. Usopp can be pretty amazing, but just doesn't get many opportunities. Chopper…yeah, he's useless.

Yeah, I dislike this nickname too. Those three are the weaker SHs, but they do so many useful things. The word "useful" is too definite.
Nami: Manages money, street smarts, one of the smarter SHs. And a navigator, which the crew has proven to be useless without. A ship lead by Zoro and Luffy alone would be a deathtrap.
Usopp: Even in the arcs he hasn't fought (which actually are the majority?) he does at least one useful act. For example, Usopp was the one who brought down the "candle set" at Little Garden while getting his ass kicked the rest of the time.
Chopper: He's a doctor; he heals people. That's obvious. He's also phyiscally strong, bordering between the gap between the weakest and stronger SHs.
Anyway, that's probably more detail then necessary, but what I'm saying is this "team useless" or "three stooges" stuff doesn't make sense to me. Character bashing aside, the characters are useful even compared to the others, and Usopp's team is arguably smarter then Zoro, Luffy, and Sanji (in ero mode) much of the time.
-
….I really think Brooke is going to come in and help out everyone. Furthering his chances to join the crew. Look at Usopp, Franky, Sanji, Chopper... heck, I think all of them after Nami did it. ...Anyhow, yeah, we really haven't seen Robin use some kick-ass abilities unless it was for getting information. I'm looking forward to it.
-
I want to see Brook tear Ryuuma off and kick much ass.
