He got innocence.
Yeah, I knew that… I mean I'm hoping he'll be useful and not have some lameass ability.

Mm… He probably will became new exorcist in the organization.
DAMNIT! This chapter was complete bullshit. I hate it when characters die and then come back to life for BS reasons and Hoshino, unfortunately, turned into one of those crappy generic shonen mangakas who do just that so they can keep popular characters. For example, Crowley was trapped in a coffin of spikes! I don't care if you're a damn exorcist nobody should be able to live through that. Same with Rhode-she like disintegrated in front of our eyes and now she's back and in full health!? Bullshit. The only people I can understand coming back are Chaoji and Lavi because their "deaths" were sort of ambiguous. I like DGM and I was hoping it would be different, but I'm not the mangaka.
Now enough of my ranting-here's what I like about the chapter. New Noah! Can't wait to see what her (his?) powers are. The part with Miranda also seems good, but I think it will lose the emotional impact since everyone comes back to life anyway :getlost:. The conversation with Allen and the…shadow...thing at the beginning also seems to reveal some unknowns-I'll just have to wait for translation. Lastly, YAY CROWLEY IS BACK! I might not like that he came back, but he is one of my favorite characters. I'll give DGM a few more chapters to redeem itself and possibly explain what happened so I really hope Hoshino put some actual effort into what she's doing.

What happened to you?
The new Noah already appeared in the anime filler.
Oh-didn't know that because I don't watch the anime that much. I'm only up to episode 10.
Yeah, so just watched episode 53… It's doing a great job of portraying the sadness during the bit with Suman. The anime has definately redeemed itself after that filler hell. In such a short time too, I'm really impressed with Half H.P Studios.

Doesn't TMS Entertainment do D. Gray-Man? I thought Half H.P. Studios just produced the music.
And Shanks1Piece, try to proofread your post before you hit the "submit" button. You went all over the place.
As for the characters coming back, I don't mind it, really, because we haven't been with them for a totally long time. I wouldn't mind seeing them in a few more fights before they decide to kick the bucket.
@Kitsu:

Yeah, they do… I just see "Half H.P." in bolded print during the credits all the time, so... I don't really keep track of studios and stuff.
133 is on OneManga.
Great chapter, it starts off so dramatic, but then Lavi fucks everything up and makes the rest of it funny.
I'm really glad to see everybody back in one piece.
Yea, it's official.
This arc was pretty pointless.
How I liked episode 55:
Bye, Bye, Suman
Next episode will be very dramatic, sure…

Shinsen already subbed 55, thanks though.
This arc was incredibly useless, did ANYONE die? Oh right Jasdebi and Skin. Skin is dead right? I wish Hoshino would've actually killed off main characters. Imagine someone breaking the shonen barrier, it would be revolutionary.
This chapter they all go home happily ever after.
Jasdebi is alive.
Crowly may be dead though.
So, new chapter's out… I'm not liking the sudden art style shift. Hoshino needs to stop reading Penny Arcade.
I always wonder how people notice these things. Art seems like such a trivial thing that it really shoudlnt matter, but whatever.
Leverrier looks like Hitler.
I like how I can tell what's going on now.
That is all.
and decent chapter.
So apparently Levellier is a member of the "hidden section" within the Black Order that was talked about earlier. And they directly have inks to the Pope and are convinced that since Allen can control the ark that he's "consorting with the enemy".
Wow, this is pretty big…
Didn't realize there was so much more to the Order and such then we already knew of. This chapter really focused on the religion segment of the series, and I thought, the whole chapter was really a message on Dogma and whatnot.
Otherwise, pretty interesting chapter, and Allen's getting monitored now, and maybe arrested/killed. I wonder if there's anything special about the guy who's watching him, since he finished up the chapter.
I liked this chapter a lot too. Does anyone know what Number 14 is, or is this the first it has been mentioned in the series? Anyway, I was very interested.
Lately, all the good manga are starting to get bleh, while mediocre mangas like this one are getting more awesome.
Well, it's pretty clear that the "14th" is like the "14th Noah", since they said that there were 13 Noah. And it's probably Allen because Mana, who I guess is a Noah now, passed on the crazy Noah Learnings onto him.

idk, we just had an arc where absolutely nothing was accomplished. No one died besides Skin. But the new arc is bound to be a blood bath. Hopefully.
Number 14 is the 14th Noah, who was made to control the Arc, but he gave up his powers to a human, meaning it was probably Mana.
Allen is shaping up to be Ichigo but much cooler. Crown Clown> Hollow Mask
Why do people keep saying that nothing happened in the last arc? I'll admit that I haven't read the entire thing, but a lot has happened just from what I've read:
! -they captured Noah's Arc
-the akuma generating plant was destroyed
-Tyki was kind of purified of his Noah powers
-Cross was found
-Allen is over 100% synchronized with his Innocence
-Allen has this new power to control the Arc
-Chaoji is now an exorcist
-Lavi's past was revealed
-We got to see Krory and Kanda in action
How exactly is this nothing? Is nothing accomplished just because no characters die except for one that wasn't all that interesting? I don't get the logic behind saying it was a waste of time just because none of the main characters died.
I think they mean last chapters or so. Because the chapters before last, not much was going on except for humor, hunger, Hoshino's comedic chibis, and Allen searching for his identity.
Because there's 13 Noahs and only one of them died in the big "Noah vs Exorcist" arc. We haven't even seen half of the Noah's yet, but now since Road, Tyki and Jasdevi are still alive, Hoshino's gonna have to use them again, instead of showcasing the newer Noah's.
Well, Tyki's still a monster, so he'll be like the Earl's right hand man/defender or whatever now, so I don't think he'll do regular Noah stuff anymore.
And Road will probably never die.
That still doesn't really mean that nothing was accomplished. Plenty was, just not in terms of character defeats.
Personally, I'd rather see the older Noah get more development than have them all die and a bunch of others just pop up. There's no reason to throw away four good characters in favour of a whole batch of brand new ones. And, just because we still have the old ones doesn't mean that new ones can't appear.
Agreed, the Noahs need a lot more on them. We sorta got to see about Skin a bit before he died, and we know a little about Tyki, but Jasebdi and Road are still pretty mysterious, although, Road's supposed to be. We won't know shit about her for a while.
Chapter 137's up on OneManga.
It starts off pretty lighthearted, Cross and Allen give us some lulz. It's pretty much confirmed that Mana is the 14th Noah, and it seems that he took Allen in as his son for a reason. It's still up in the air about what that shadow behind Allen is, and what his exact connections to Mana are, but Rouvellier seems to indicate that something bad is going down…
I dont really like that Rouvellier guy…Anyway, I knew there was something special about Mana, its good to know who or what he is.
But I thought an akuma killed Mana, not the Earl....
@Natty:

Naw, it was never stated what killed Mana. Up until we found out that he was the 14th, I always thought that he died from disease or something.
This arc is looking to be not boring.
Nice change of pace. I've actually be interested these past 2 weeks in the series.
The recent chapters are cetainly interesting, and I've always wanted to see more of the Order's inner workings anyway, so this is just what I want. However, the whole "Mana was the Traitor" is a theory that had been going on for a while, and the manga is very, very, slowly trying to get that point across to the reader, but, it isn't that hard a concept to grasp.
And where is Cloud's monkey?
! Bastards, they killed Johnny!!!!
Well that was unexpected. Is Lulubell the only one there, or is there a second guy? I can't tell.
From the looks of things, Hevlaska fixed up Lenalee's legs.
The Earl has some sense… I mean, he's probably got millions of new akuma, and it makes sense to harass a wounded opponent...
Keep your chin up Johnny, you'll get to play chess with Suman again soon... :*(
Keep your chin up Johnny, you'll get to play chess with Suman again soon… :*(
That's why I had a bad feeling. From the moment I saw that image, I was sure something would happen to him. He really miss his times playing chess with Suman:cwy:
Damn Lulubell! First entrance and she already killed someone!!
Hevlaska changed a bit, don't you think? Or it's art's evolution?
So I was able to obtain a few details about the new chapter:
! Hevlaska states that Lenalee's innocence will materialize soon, but it won't be an innocence of the weapon type anymore. Lenalee's innocence will materialize to the parasite type, like Allen.
! Almost all the Court treats Allen as a traitor, for trying to help Suman and even Cross is under arrest.
! The name of the guy who take cares of Allen: Link, 19 years old.
Oh snaps, an intruder.
Bring out the PWNT sword, Allen! Let's get to slicin' and Dicin'!
oh yeah awesome chapter!! So lenalee's innocence might actually evolve and change into a parasite??!! Could it be that hers is actually the Heart?
Personally, I don't want her Innocence to become Parasite-Type, I think it would be better if she just got some new, stronger, boots so we don't have to go through this "shortened lifespan" drama.
And is Chao Ji actually going to fight now?
he probably has too since almost every main fighter are wounded or can't fight: Krory, Lenalee, etc
Meh. Shortened life span? I doubt they would have to worry more about it than Luffy has with Gear2.
When I learned Naruto was shortening his life span, I cheered.
@Impel:

Are you Kidding? I laughed and rip roared and hollered. Hope that bastard dies real soon.
But, it does seem that a lot of mangas are doing that lately.
But yeah. I think Allen is going to have to fight, and like prove to the auditor prick that he's a good guy, and supposedly the next General. Besides, there's also like 3 generals there, so it can be taken care of. But, It won't be easy I'm sure.
EDIT:Agreed. The whole parasite type thing is a little… eh. :P
Does anyone know exactly what episodes are filler and what episodes arent? I don't feel like watching any more D.Gray-Man filler.
Well I know there ARE some filler, but I laughed pretty much at everyone of them they weren't that bad. :P
But no I don't know the exact e number.
@Natty:

Filler ends at 51 or 52. I know that the filler ends when the new opening pops up.
Why can't D. Gray-Man get endings to go with the awesome openings? the last good one we had was… Snow Kiss. w00t.

I nominate Doubt&Trust for one of the best OPs ever. I'll start watching once they go into the Arc though. Cause I bet we get some fillers before that.
