But Smoker does it…. :whiny voice:
Smoker doesn't even have a sword, he has a really big jutte for disabling Devil Fruit users and is merely a handytool. Like a pokeball, somewhat.

Nami will ACTUALLY use Happiness Punch to defeat a villian.
Usopp will learn Bigan.
afrosopp + bigan= end of universe
kabuto + brooke's head = hissatsu brooke star !!
and after the upgrade
Kabuto + brooke's head with afro on fire = hissatsu firebrooke star !!
What, a whole two days without some crackpot moonman theory…! IT MUST BE REMEDIED
Personally? And without any particular merit to the idea? I think Crocus is from Ohara. Only because he's got a flower hairdo and he's named after a flower and the place seems to have an inbuilt flower/plant theme (i.e. tree of knowledge, clover, hana hana fruit)
But that's just me jumping to conclusions. I apologize if it's been thought of.
i say somehow Blackbeard and ace are related
( what? I didn;t say my theory would make sense! XD)
@kaizoku that's probably true since they're both Ds and all the Ds seem to be related.
I'm goin with HikaruYami's theory on the old man being the real Hogback and the "hogback" that usopp/nami/chopper met was moria.
I also have a theory about the newer chapters…
The Guardian in the last chapter is brook. But its the evil Brook (his shadow).
Brook was murdered, after loosing his shadow to Moria, so the guardian isn´t a skeleton, but still brook :).
Maybe when Moria is defeated their shadows will return and Brook will take over the figure of evil Brook, than he isnt a skeleton anymore. Or he will stay a skeleton and join the sh´s.
i don't see the interest in brooke joining the SH without his skeleton form
Lucci will join Buggy's crew, ftw.
I see Brooke becomming captain of an all zombie pirate crew rather than joinging the SHs. I mean, he has been a captain before.
New theory: reason why Brook had no flesh on his bones was actually because Hogback stole it. He then recreated into the guardian.
Wow, I wonder why I never come across this thread.
I have an idea from Luffy's 3'rd gear.
Do think that Luffy got the idea for it from the Golden ball that Eneru put on him? Most of us can admit that it might've been harder for Luffy to beat him if the first place whith the ball giving him some extra power. I bet he wanted to find away to use the power again somehow.
@Impel:
Lucci will join Buggy's crew, ftw.
I'm actually thinking that in a future cover page arc, all of CP9 other than Spandam and Lucci will get fired, Kaku and Califa both go back to Water 7 to their old jobs, Blueno becomes a doorman, Fukurou becomes a gossip columnist, Kumadori joins Buggy's crew, and Jyabura joins the Navy, falls in love with Hina, and becomes her third groupie along with Django and Fullbody.
SMERRS RIKE SPIRITSU!!!! BO-HAHAHAHA!!!
I don't think they'd let Kaku or Califa back into Galley-La, though it's a pretty good thought for what a CP9 Cover Arc would be like!

Just one little flaw: they're all
! DEAD!
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw
Next time say a word, please.

Got proof? Didn't think so. No one ever dies in One Piece. They all got beaten severely and somehow miraculously survived the Buster Call. Or that's at least one cog to my little theory. And doesn't that statement of yours shut down your little "Lucci joins Buggy's crew ftw" theory anyhow?
I strongly buy into the "Blueno Doa Doa'd everyone out of Enies Lobby" theory. It has several things going for it:
-Blueno was out of the game 20 chapters before any of the other CP9. He had time to regain consciousness and go "o.O" at the Buster Call announcement.
-Fits nicely into the "Nobody dies" mindset.
-Ensures wackiness as they're all together again
that makes a lot of sense actually
i think at the end of the serie, every character the SH fought will be on buggy crew (croco, enel, lucci, cp9…) but the SH will be to strong and usopp will be able to took them by himself
i don't see the interest in brooke joining the SH without his skeleton form
He still might be thin and odd looking.
Oda might pull an Oda.
On a side note, Crocus and Clover look alike.
yes but he is just to hilarious with his bones and his afro (and his cup of tea)
another crazy theory:
whitebeard could be from elbaf and could be a full blooded giant
They've said time and time again that he's a human, not a giant.
Anyone else sort of think that Gol D. Roger had some sort of connection with the devil?
They say Jolly Roger may have come from Old Roger, which was the name for the devil.
Probaly not the actual devil, but a portrayal, if Gol D Roger was a representation of the devil, and the WG as God and maybe his execution was like a banishment from God. Im not too good with religious history but I was just pondering.
Well that is an interesting theory but unfortunately Oda shot down a question just like that in one of the recent SBS about a possible biblical reference.
@Impel:

Well i only been here for a month and a half and never heard that here or anywhere
I've been here for under a month, and I knew that.
Someone mind citing a reference for 'WB is human' then? Because I don't remember that and WB looks almost giant sized to me.
He's just large, not giant.
He is about the same size as the mighty destroyers from the franky family. You can see the size difference at first glance. Shanks comes up to his knee, with giants he'd be about ankle height in comparison. Just look at the scene with Usopp on one of the EL giants shoulder, you can see their size is notibly different.
My theory: Moria was a horible husband and father.

WB is no real giant that's for sure. Aside from the Destroyers, you can see how tiny Usopp is when sitting on the Giant's shoulder.
He might be big, half a giant, or something like that.
Just wanted to point that out.
Is Luffy's Gear 3 fist bigger than WB's?
Obviously. Luffy's Gear 3 fist is the same size as WB, of course it's larger than his fist. Unless of course WB can change into one giant hand. Then we have some Super Smash Bros shit on our hands.
I am not to sure but I thought it mentioned someware in the manga that Whitebeard was half giant. I mean honestly that is a little to big for a human.
And i'm new here so yohoho
Welcome!
Yeah.
16 characters fooor suuure.
Well, then wouldn't that mean the destroyers would be half-giant too?
It was confirmed he was a human… Someone mentioned it. Giants are massive, White Beard is just an overlarge human.
It appears everyone needs a size reminder of the largest humans and the giant race:

Remember - WB is about the Mighty Destroyers height.
Those two Franky Family members are around Whitebeard's height. Maybe smaller. Hard to tell.
They're around the same height.
I guess this goes here.
Could Merman Island be a way to skip the Red Line?
This theory follows the idea that Merman Island is probably the last in the first half of the Grand Line.
As we all know, Mariejoa is located on the Red Line. This is one dangerous place, basically because the Gorosei are here, the leaders of the entire world.
The strawhats must pass the Red Line in order to get into the second half the the Grand Line, but I highly doubt that they will take the pathway on land. If they did, they would have to fight who knows how many powerful people + the Gorosei themselves.
So maybe Merman Island is also a double as a pathway to the second half of the Grand Line. How? It is said that Merman Island is underwater, so maybe there is an underwater pathway leading from Merman Island to the second half of the Grand Line, skipping the Red Line and Mariejoa all together.
This would be a perfect route for the strawhats and would help them escape going through the trouble of fighting the leaders of the World Government so soon.
Lol… Thousand Sunny, Submarine Mode! Maybe that's what the unknown channels are used for, making Thousand Sunny to submerge underwater while the cabins are air-pressurized.
Nah, it'd be redundant of Oda to use that. They already have a mini-sub, why would Oda do that when it would draw attention away from the mini-sub, (which I presume will have a part to play in the Gyojin arc to come, considering how the SH have 3 DF users in their crew), so that would really just make the mini-sub nothing more than a little scooter comapred to the TS.
You know I just thought of this. Do you suppose that only a man of D can get to Raftel and that's why none of the emperor's have moved in on it? After all I doubt Oda would try to make it so only Luffy's crew can get to Raftel because the dangers were designed specifically for them.
Also more specifically I'm thinking that it has to be a man of D who's the Captain of his own crew because he'll make the best crew to get to Raftel which answers the question of why Whitebeard hasn't gotten there considering he's got Ace.
Also Dragon and Garp aren't interested in One Piece so that rules them out too.
So going by that theory there are TWO crews able to get to Raftel. Luffy's and Blackbeard's. Thus cementing further that Blackbeard will be the final enemy. This would also explain why Gold Roger was the only one who's ever made it there.
Okay, here's what I've got: Maybe Moria knows Dorry and Broggy. I don't know why that's relevent, but it just might be true.
Ok.
this is the theory :
hogback's job : repairing the bodies to revive the dead (plastic surgin).
perona's job : getting the spirits out of the bodies into the other world and vice versa (her spirits are ones which are making her body and didnt made it to the other world.
moria's job : being a high-bounty shichibukai and a giant to kick alot of ass.
absalom's job : commanding the dead.
so, what happened to sanji and brooke is that they got knocked out by one of the zombies or some weapon, brought back to life by perona to a body hogback made (sanji=>that pengi-dog | brooke=>samurai ryuma)
(the "?" fog is the other world)
…
if my theory is correct, we might find ourselves a lazy zombie that is realy a kick-ass swordsman...
