Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

Sanji's eye: He probably has a fish-eye, or something, would be wonderfully Oda-esque. For all we know his parents are from All Blue.
Crocodile: What if Ivankov left Croco's hand that is under the hook, as a female hand?

What about Whitebeard cutting off Croc's hand?
-
Is there even any proof crocodile is actually missing a hand? Does it show it missing anywhere in the manga, like a stump?
It seems to me he's just holding a hook with his hand inside that big golden cylinder type thing.
Of course if he really is missing a hand I'm not going to aurge it. I'm just asking if there's proof?

Crocoboy is holding a hook for the lulz

Crocoboy is holding a hook for the lulz
I wouldn't doubt it.In the BW's tread by Greg i seen something about Croc having 2 arms in the manga that's supposedly a mistake. I never looked at it at the time tho.
-
The truth is that Crocodile was a women dumped by Whitebeard. So he let Ivankov change his gender in order to get revenge on him in a fight amonst real men and lost it. Believe it!
-
I have an easier time believing the reason Crocodile lost so many times to WB is that he's really the 4th Yonkou.
-
But he was a Shichibukai and doesn't being a shichibukai exclude that he was (or better is?) a yonkou?
Besides the silhouettes we saw don't look anything like him. -
Besides the silhouettes we saw don't look anything like him.
Silhouettes don't work in One Piece.
None of the silhouettes look like the Shichibukai; they don't all wield swords.
-
In an SBS did Oda explain that Croc does indeed have 2 hands? And though his art was wrong on that cover page, he does indeed have both hands.
I thought I read that before. Not sure, can anyone confirm?
-

Besides the silhouettes we saw don't look anything like him.MmmBug is obviously kidding for it makes no sense for Garp to explain the entire concept behind Warlords and Marine HQ being there to rival the Four Emperors. Not to mention that it would lack any sense for Garp to state that there is Four Emperors that currently rule the New World if one of them would be imprisoned at Impel Down at that very moment.

Didn't he actually say that the two hands were a mistake and that Crocodile doesn't have them which is why he undid the mistake in the later volume? I'm sure I remember something of that sort.

Croc's Past:
As a young boy growing up in the grandline he had dreams only of being a great guitarist like his father, until the day that everything changed. Croc was working as waiter in a local bar so that his family could get the food that they needed to survive, when entered the Whitebeard Pirates (All of them). Everything started off fine, but as the night progressed the pirates gained in levels of intoxication. Until finally Whitebeard was playing around with his Bisento, spinning it increasing fast as to impress some hookers at the bar that at that time Croc went to collect the empty plates infront of Whitebeard that the bisento chopped off Croc's hand, rendering his dream of being a guitarist usless. From that day onward Croc has made it his mission in life to kill Whitebeard for ruining his life's ambition.
Whitebeard did infact impress the hookers at the bar, and got 1/2 price that night.

Hey, i would like to talk about the entries of Grand Line, the one that we know:

http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/101/18/In these pics, the beams are perfectly placed and very detailled. Looking at the water flow it's impossible to construct such buildings as detailed. I think that these beams have been built by the ancient civilization at the time when the geography was different. By the way, it looks like a huge ship can't pass the mountain but there are huge ships on grand Line Oo

While it might be possible that it has been built in ancient times I don't think it's impossible to have them built under the current conditions. With the proper equiment it should have been possible build them without requiring to be in the water at all. If they can build cyborgs in the OP world then equipment that allows to build those structures while being connected to the Red Line alone shouldn't be utopic.
By the way, it looks like a huge ship can't pass the mountain but there are huge ships on grand Line Oo
How about having the huge ships built in docks that are located at Grand Line islands? Like Water 7 perhaps? ;)

Mistake fixed in the volume release.

I think it was Magnetic Monkey or 1000 Lion-chan who was arguing that and that they were the top-3 on the Level-6 list of inmates. But seriously, they're way too big. With the exception of "Warship" I-forget-his-name, who I'm sure will have an important role as Blackbeard's ship because he's such an excellent swimmer.
Other than that, it seems Blackbeard wants people who are only a few times the size of the Strawhats and no more.
-
One Manga is so lame. Looks like Jimbei is going to kill White Beard as well, hahaha.
It would be cool if Black Beard recruited one of those giants. I would love to see one of the Straw Hats like Franky go toe to toe with one.
Also there is nothing to say that Black Beard only wants a crew roughly the size of the Straw Hats. Wait, do you mean number of crew members? Or actual size/height of the crew members? Either way nothing has been suggested about who he wants in his crew so far, or the types of people he doesn't want.

I have figured it out! The final villain of One Piece is Hockera.
Obviously with this new fangled "Haki" weapon, hockera has the upperhand in any "Haki" match that he participates in. For those of you who are unaware of how powerful this Hockera really is, just imagine a man who is always ready for a match of "Haki" and can defeat anyone with his superior "Haki" skills.

Nothing that can't be taken care of with DF abilities. The one could be a giant that ate the Ship Fruit while the other could be a giant aten the Shrink Fruit. So yeah, the latter could be Blackbeard-sized when not seastone-cuffed while the other could be, well Blackbeards ship. Sounds to absurd? Time will tell!

That's already been done. In one of the OP games.
-

I know Brue from "OP Round that Land" had said ability. However since a game isn't part of the story it shouldn't really be a reason for not having such an ability in the main story.
-
But Oda designed him I don't think he would like to design another character who has the same DF…
Looks at Wapol's brother in Movie 9
I'll shut up.
-
Weren't those Unlimited Adventure/Cruise characters the only game characters Oda ever designed? At least that's what I've heard. Might be wrong though.
But even if he was Oda's design it wouldn't change that inside the story there wasn't such an ability (hence why Magellan could have a poison ability even though Mushool had something poison-esque already).
-
Thank you for repeating what I've admitted to. You sure love to rub it in.

I would expect you of all people to know the face-palmery of a Ship-Ship Fruit, both for the articiality and the fact that SHIPS GO IN FREAKING WATER. And did you completely miss the part where I said an excellently swimming giant makes for an awsome ship? Which is to say, your idea to make something less absurd is to steal my idea and make it pants-on-head retarded.
And really, I just don't like the idea of a Shrinking Fruit, but I admittedly don't know why. I really think it's a better idea to have just 1 giant.

Look at that crucifix does that remind you of anything?
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/561/02/
Around Mihawks neck is a crucifix of similar design. Think about it, its a creepy Dracula type castle and Mihawks full name is Juracule Mihawk , Jaracule sounds/looks sort of like Dracula… And MIhawk is riding a coffin. And Kuma asked Zoro where he wanted to go... And Zoro always thinks about Mihawk.
I think Zoro is at Mihawk's castle/home town/ training ground.
All of the swords around the area only reinforce this.
Anyone else think this is a possibility?
-
I think… that is probably right. O_O That is a very nice theory.
Milhawk even has that vampire type of look to him. If it is his "castle" then Zoro is definitely going to learn something to get stronger there.
It also proves Zoro and Perona wanted a secret date alone together. Other then their two main reasons for being sent there. Okay, not really. xD
Any, idea about the shadow or was that just an anime thing, I forgot. :/

To be honest that isn't my theory. Found it one NF but I think it could happen.
The shadown didn't appear in the anime so far… Just in the cover story. We have to see if the anime will show us more of it
-
Thank you for repeating what I've admitted to. You sure love to rub it in.
What do you mean, rub it in? I mainly added a bit more info on the game stuff (which unless I'm missing a post is NOT something you've pointed out in that way). The second paragraph was just a confirmation of what said about Movie 9. I did that for a better closure of my statement not to rub anything in. I wonder why you would think so.
I would expect you of all people to know the face-palmery of a Ship-Ship Fruit, both for the articiality and the fact that SHIPS GO IN FREAKING WATER.
And that is an argument against a Ship Fruit because?
Of course when I've made the assumption of a Ship Fruit my idea was based on the speculation that such a fruit would just like Luffy's ability not be canceled out when the user would go in water. So yeah, if he enters water in ship form then the user would be pretty much ok considering that ships are supposed to stay on freaking water.
Also there's the little tidbit that ships technically aren't submerged in water (which as Oda confirmed is the requirement to have an effect on DF users). So yeah, I consider a possibility that such a fruit exists.
-

Mushull's powers weren't exactly poison - poison was just a bonus. Just like Marigold could also spit poison, and Marco can create fire like Ace.
About the characters - Oda didn't create Bruce the giant with the Shrink-fruit but as far I know the staff of the anime and games always asks him when they have an idea for a new Devil Fruit. If that Devil Fruit is not one Oda intends to use in the manga, he allows them to create it.

Enough about ships! This ^ is an awesome theory! Kuma knows Zoro's ambition, has knowledge of his fellow War Lords, and if he was indeed helping the Straw Hats he knew Zoro would be able to benefit most from this place.
About the shadow, i predicted a while ago it could be Shanks(but not seriously) because of the type of sword and only right hand being shown. And now if this island really is connected with Mihawk, Shanks could have been in town reminiscing. And then like that, we know how Zoro gets back to Shaboady. He could have been dropped off just before Shanks made it back to the new world to intercept Kaidou.

Who'd want a df ship of any kind?
The first time it hits water it will sink.

Anyone thinks that it is possible that Croc is hiding a WB's tattoo under his hook ?

Epic theory time! Dragon was in Gol D Rodgers crew, and so was fisher tiger!
Reasoning:
Dragon : Rayleigh said that everyone in the crew took the finding of the reo poneglyph differantly - the way dragon could have taken it would be to decide that the WG needs to die.
Fisher Tiger : He's ripped, climbed the red line BY HIMSELF (LOLWHUT) and then defeated who knows, probably some admirals or equally powerful people who defend the Kings etc. He did this 20 years ago - remarkably 20 years ago rodgers crew disbanded - and I think somone as ripped as fisher tiger would fight with rodger if he wasn't in his crew.
kkthx
and @ poster above me, croc prolly had a crew went to new world got smacked by WB, just like moria :( then gave up on his dream like when he said to luffy, "I used to be like you" And like squad vs. rodger.
-
Why do people keep mixing up the two prediction threads?
Oh, whoops, I should've posted that in the Questions thread.
-
lol, but hey it could happen o.O Kume sent them there for a reason =P and since we still dont know why Zoro got sent there, i think at least we dont know oO it should be to make a Zorona =D

WTF?? Do you even read this series?
Rayleigh didn't say anything about how Roger's crew analyzed the Rio Poneglyph. He just implied that they maybe didn't understand it the right way and Robin probably was better off with finding it on her own.
And we don't know exactly when Fisher Tiger climbed the Red Line. All we know is that Hancock was 16 years at that time. And the timeline tells us that right now she is between 27 and 36 years old, and thus the Fisher Tiger incident happened between 11 and 20 years ago.
And Roger's crew wasn't disbanded 20 years ago. They disbanded one year before Roger's execution - in other words 23 years ago.

I dont know what "..their own thread"-thread i should post this in so im doing this one.
After reading the latest Bleach i found a very fun thing.
http://www.sugooi.org/manga/?m=Bleach&c=382&p=17
Look at the bottom panel and the next page, do you feel a slight deja vu?
If so, here you go http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/112/17/ this page and next.Kinda funny that Bleach copies One Piece, perhaps it will stop sucking soon?
-
On the subject of DF ships (It was a couple of pages back now i know).
A DF ship WOULD actually work, the DF powers are only negated when submerged in water, whereas ships are buoyant and would float of the surface of the water (Only part will be submerged).
Remember how luffy was ok in the baths of Alabasta? -

Is that really enough to conclude Bleach copies One Piece. I've seen this technique in several manga titles already, some are way older than One Piece. Don't ask me to give you some pics to prove my point though because I'm lazy.

Anyone thinks that Daz Bones will die. I mean he is useless, he has no fans, no character and Crocodile will have some development.
